This spectacular home is perched on a bank overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Enjoy the view from the large deck outside or from most rooms inside. The great room/kitchen with hardwood floors, gas fireplace, plentiful windows, granite counter tops, and state-of-the-art appliances enables constant enjoyment of the surrounding beauty. Three self-contained bedroom suites have queen beds, and two have views. An additional bedroom has two twins and a double bed next to a full bath. A large bonus room can provide additional sleeping space. Spend the day watching eagles soar, submarines and occasional sea lions, or walk the beach and harvest clams, mussels, or oysters (license needed). For more action, visit the charming town of Poulsbo, play some golf, visit a casino, hike at Hurricane Ridge, take a ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria BC, or engage in many other activities available in the area. Hard to find enough glowing words to describe our stay at this FABULOUS property. The house is gorgeous, and bright. The views are simply breathtaking!! We did easy daytrips to Hurricane Ridge, Poulsbo and kayaking. Would rent this property again in a heartbeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Sandi and Don’s beautiful house. The facilities at the house were first rate. Our favorite space was the deck which overlooked a stretch of water and scenic mountains in the distance. Apart for the sunsets, which were very special, we were not expecting to be surrounded by so much nature. Even though our busy schedule meant that we were on the move a lot, we spent long enough at the house to be thoroughly charmed by its location. It was quite an experience for us to have a mating pair bald eagles as neighbors ( we could see them from the deck, perched high up on a tall pine to our right hand side). In addition we were fortunate to see an Osprey dive-bombing into the water to catch his lunch, a frolicking family of six otters, herons, a kingfisher and deer. We also enjoyed the beach - a must for beach-combers! This place is indeed as Sandi describes it ‘ …a little bit of paradise’. Our only regrets was that we could not stay longer. Thank you to our hosts. We had a magical stay at this special house.

This house exceeded all expectations. We were in the area for a family wedding. The house was beautiful, clean and well stocked. The views were amazing. The owners were accessible and helpful. We did not want to leave, but for other adventures on our itinerary.

Beautiful property, the views of the sound and Olympic mountains were incredible. We saw Navy gun boats from Bangor, running drills in front of the home. The 3 master suites afforded all family members a room with a bath. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality ware. The wrap around deck afforded incredible views and outdoor fun. The kids loved the bonus room above the garage and the private park a few doors down. Great place to stay and play.

Great view of Hood Canal. Enough of a beach within a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive. Open view and enough eating space to gather but enough rooms to get away also. Very homey feeling. Complete kitchen. Quick response from vrbo contact. There needs to be blinds:curtains so the sun doesn’t zap your eyes on the late afternoon.

This is the nicest property that I have ever stayed at. It seems like newer construction and it is well appointed. The view is spectacular and sweeping of Hood Canal. We saw five otters feeding below in the water while enjoying coffee on the deck. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms spacious with plenty of bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again.

The views on this property were stunning. It was quiet and comfortable. Our family of seven had plenty of space. The private bathrooms connected to each room were very convenient and we never felt like we were on top of each other. We didn’t want to leave!

Absolutely gorgeous home on the water. The pictures do not do it justice. Inside is beautiful and outside decks with breathtaking views makes for a tranquil retreat. Great communication with property manager too!

We definitely enjoyed our stay! The area is beautiful and the house was beautiful as well. One tiny peeve of mine is the lack of curtains. The sunset lasted a loooong time and would blaze the sun straight into my face on the couch in the main sitting area because there were no shades or curtains. The lack of curtains in bedrooms is also unfortunate when trying to sleep past dawn (also for kids!). The only other thing is a general issue I have with rentals like this, which is the miles-long list of things to clean and do around the house before I leave when the cleaning fees are already super steep. But! To wrap up the compliment sandwich, The area was very peaceful, the beds were comfortable, and we loved our stay!

We had 3 couples that stayed in the house and their was plenty of room and then some. The location is so peaceful and the view is amazing. We even had the chance to see a submarine go by on one of the days. Every evening was a colorful sunset. We spent a lot of time out on the deck enjoying the view. Went to Poulsbo and had a great lunch at JJs Fish House - really good fish and chips. Also drove to Fort Worden State Park another day and saw the lighthouse and the old artillery base. We definitely plan to come back another time.

This property exceeded our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. There is a wrap around deck with a table for 8, BBQ and umbrella. Half of the wall is glass and opens up to the deck. With the weather at 80º, w had it open most of the day. The bd wer comfortable and the showers really nice. The kitchen was well stocked which made it nice not to have to buy salt, foil, paper towels, etc. Even a French press. It was a short distance to town and a lovely town with great restaurants and shopping. Easy beach access as well. It was the solitude we needed. Fantastic. Would definitely stay here gain.

Perfect spot for family to gather for a wedding or event. Home has everything needed for a short-term stay and neighborhood is peaceful. Plenty of room, gorgeous view, and comfortable. We took our grandchildren for a walk to the beach where we found shells, crabs and a swingset.

The property is beautiful and the house was well appointed and clean. It fit our group of couples with adult children well. The view is spectacular. The only suggestion is to advertise that there are only three parking spaces. We had to adjust plans to accommodate our full group which included an elderly couple. With that said, we all enjoyed our stay and would happily return to this property.

We had the best time at our stay in this beautiful house in Kitsap County on the Hood Canal. The house is beautiful and was awesome for my elderly mom who has mobility issues. She had her own suite on the first floor and my husband and I had our own beautiful suite upstairs. The Bonus Room was perfect for my son and groomsmen to get ready for his wedding at Kitsap State Park. This is a beautiful property to relax and enjoy.

Sandi's home was perfect for our group. There is plenty of space for kids to play and adults to relax. The open concept of the main floor really is a nice touch for family get togethers. The mountain and canal views are breathtaking and not to be missed. We were able to use the beach access to witness up close the low tides that occurred each day and watch for crabs, clams, and other small marine life. Sandi was a great communicator and I appreciate her opening this great house to us.

The view of the Olympic's across Hood Canal is awesome. Easy access to the beach to poke around and see interesting tidal creatures. Location is close to many other interesting attractions. The house is beautiful, well equipped and spacious. What more could you want?

Beautiful property and gorgeous location. However, for the price, most of the beds weren't great, there are no blinds on the main floor so at night you feel like you are in a lighted fish bowl with neighbors very close and only could find one box of tissue in the whole place so had to go shop for that. If these items were updated, I would definitely stay again. Thanks

This is a perfect house for families! It’s an absolutely beautiful house with 4 huge bedroom suites, in a drop dead gorgeous location! Our family can’t get over our wonderful experience there! We had more than enough room to spread out and relax. And everything from the beds to the large beautiful kitchen was perfect. And the crown jewel is the large living room retractable doors that open up onto a huge deck which overlooks the water. And finally, the property manager is incredibly nice and kind and was so very helpful and interactive with us as we finalized the plans for our stay. If you can’t tell already, we absolutely loved everything about this place! It was perfect… absolutely perfect!

Got a early check in, and hosts were very responsive. This house size was perfect, maybe a little bit big, for our group of 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 senior citizens. If you plan on walking down to the water, note the grade to get there is steep and may not be suitable for older folks. The hosts provided a code to drive down as well. All good!

Our stay was simply perfect in every way. This home is beautiful and even better than expected. Pictures don't do it justice. The view was breath taking. We enjoyed our stay so very much. Communication and was excellent. Check-in was seamless. We appreciated the detailed instructions and expectations. Because we cooked there we appreciated having kitchen staples on hand. That was an unexpected bonus. I would book this home again in a heartbeat!

My family loved staying at this property! The rooms were all very spacious. The view was absolutely amazing and we spent a lot of time on the back deck. We were very close to my daughter's wedding venue, Kitsap State Park, downtown Poulsbo, and other stores for any needs. I would highly recommend this property.

Plenty of room for everyone, especially liked having so many bathrooms. Beautiful view over Hood Canal, also appreciated the mass of lavender plants in the front yard. Well situated to experience Sequim lavender valley, Dungeness Spit hike, Poulsbo, Foulweather Bluff hike, Point No Point Lighthouse, Kingston and Bainbridge island ferry to Seattle.

Very nice and roomy. Home was very clean. Mattress in the guest bedroom was very uncomfortable and my son and his wife ended up with backaches. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and ever back to Washington, would rent again.
