About this apartment rental
Our accommodation is located not far from the American Embassy, in a very secure environment. It has water and electricity permanently thanks to a reserve of 7000 liters and a generator of 40kva with automatic reverser, which shelters the inhabitant from all untimely cuts of water and d 'electricity.
It is served by a paved road giving direct access to 100m on avenue Jean Paul II.
It is in a closed enclosure and guarded 24/24 and 7/7 by a private security company.
Located in Bastos, the largest residential area of embassies, diplomats and senior executives, it has all the amenities for a peaceful stay. Supermarkets, banks, a gas station, multiple restaurants, a police station, the town hall and a sub-prefecture.
The Vita course (public and free sports course) is 2 km away. It is an outdoor sports course in a wooded area supervised by monitors, open every day without subscription or appointment.
For those who love nature walks and calm, Mont Fébé is a perfect asset at the top of which Yaoundé offers a magnificent view of the Golf, Bastos and the Palais des Congrès districts.
If you rather want to discover the popular districts of the city, the Briqueterie with its Soya specialists (meat skewer or 50/50) or the Mokolo Market, our national "Souk" will offer you the best scents. Get a cheap Cameroonian or African outfit (Afritude).
A taxi beyond you are at the municipal lake. Take the opportunity to discover the Ministry district, the Prime Minister's Office, the Central Bank, the National Assembly, the military district. Have a drink at the Hilton 5 * hotel if you feel like it before going up to visit the National Museum, open in the premises of the former Presidency of the Republic, where the charming Rose will guide you and explain the history of Cameroon, country indomitable lions, Africa in miniature.
Book two or three full days to visit the city because you will be interested in:

Overall a good experience. Security was great. Manager was very responsive as the main bedroom A/C didn’t work for three days, and the refrigerator needed to be replaced; balcony was dirty and was never swept; bathrooms only came with one towel each, and the worst, was the internet. No matter the time of day, it was mostly non-existent. I suggest 2-3 extra towels for unit, and, as they only came to clean once in 11 days, an extra set of sheets for the beds. All of this, is due to the price per night. Maybe even find and offer a paid laundry service. Again, overall a nice place, and with a few changes would be 5 star. I would stay there again and recommend to others.
