It feels like you’re far from civilization as you relax at pool’s edge and gaze out over the Pacific, or the magnificent mountain backdrop. Puamana Nani is a 2 bedroom / 2.5 bath condominium. We’re telling you now to give savvy vacationers a heads up, (you will not regret it). AC keeps Puamana Nani cool and quiet! For outdoor enjoyment there's comfortable seating on the front lanai that has a slice of ocean view.

Puamana is a wonderful, quiet, well maintained gated community. The grounds are immaculate, and the staff are wonderful. Puamana Nani (the unit itself) is darling, comfortable, and well decorated, with easy access to the beach and pools. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach daily (loved using the provided beach chairs!). But we didn't use the pools much. The quiet/beachside pool is very deep (I could not touch past the steps and no floaties allowed), and the one closest to the unit typically had large amounts of kids. We did wish we had more of a view of the water from the unit itself, but the space suited us just fine. The beds are wonderfully comfortable. And it was really nice to have our own bathroom, while our teenager had hers. The kitchen was well stocked with more than we needed. We definitely heard road noise, but it really didn't bother us (my husband's snoring was a much bigger annoyance! :) Ear plugs for the win! Annie was an incredibly responsive host, communicating many details prior to arrival, and responding very quickly during our stay. We are already planning our next vacation to Puamana!

This rental is great. If you are looking for a family friendly location this is for you. At least .5 mile of private beach, 50 steps from the door. Close to town / grocery shopping. Full size laundry. Very well equipped with coolers, full kitchen, memory foam bed. Great host!

Great location, close to most activities. Stayed for 6 night - next will stay longer. Communications with property ow era/manager was great, check in and access was seamless. I was not aware until we were leaving that the closet out the back door had everything you for the beach (chairs, boards, umbrella).

We loved the Puamana development and this condo was great. It was beautiful and the ocean was just across the street. Lahaina is a short 15-20 min walk which we did daily. The owner was very responsive to my questions. Can't wait to return.

Stay here!
Wonderful place. Well loved and cared for. Beds very comfortable which is hard to find. Bedding and linens are top notch. Has everything you need. Don’t pass because of very minor road noise. It didn’t keep us up or wake us up. Very secure property. Annie checked in with us but we didn’t need a thing. Stayed a week and loved every minute of it. Would go back next trip to Maui. Can’t say enough about the location and how close and convenient it is. Thank you Annie, fabulous!

Hawaii family vacation
The whole family enjoyed our stay on the property. The location gave us easy access to other parts of the island. Low key property serves as an antidote to the resort frenzy else where. As noted the property is exposed to road noise which we acclimated to pretty quickly. Annie was always available through our stay. We would definitely come back.

This property was amazing. Annie was wonderful in communicating and answering any questions we had. The home was stocked with everything you would need, from beach chairs and towels to a coffee maker and shampoo. Other reviews note the road noise. There is road noise but it wasn't terrible. We were able to sleep well and enjoy our time. We would definitely stay here again!

Super convenient to Lahaina, close enough to shops and restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood with mature tropical landscaping. Townhouse is a little older but has modern updates. Do stay here if you don’t want all the hassles of a mega resort.

I wish there were more stars to rate this property and host. The condo is just as it looks online, but what you can’t see is the beautiful lush garden like property where the condo is located, The condo is literally just steps to the beach from the front door. Kitchen is fully stocked. We cooked breakfast and made dinners a couple times and had plenty of cookware, silverware ect. The owner has a great eye for decorating and the condo is so beautifully done. The beds, bedding and pillows were all super comfortable and plenty of towels too. There were beach chairs we used to walk to the beach edge and watch the amazing sunsets and whale activity. We sat out front every morning drank our coffee on the cozy patio furniture and planned our day . It’s a very nice place to take a morning walk, the property location is close enough to walk to downtown Lahaina which we did a few times 15-20 min. The host/owner is very thorough with her communication. It was a wonderful time in Hawaii and our home away from home made it a perfect stay! Thank you thank you!

The unit and the grounds were excellent. Easy access to the beach and three pools available.
The unit was laid out very well. Any issue that we had were immediately addressed. We would definitely recommend this property. It was probably the best owners with whom we have dealt.

Everything we expected
Stay was great! The unit was well equipped with everything you need. The fruit, waters and wine was a great welcome treat. Not sure if this was left by a previous guest, or specifically for us. Either way we loved it! We have stayed in other puamana rentals in the past. When booking the unit we knew this location would have road noise. You could hear it inside but we got used to it and ultimately it didn’t bother us much. Annie, the affordability and ease of booking out weighs the noise. Bed was super comfortable and unit AC was cold! We had a few hot days and appreciated the great AC. I would ultimately recommend this rental to friends with a heads up about the noise. Thanks Annie!

Puamana Nani
What an incredible property. Annie was a fantastic host and made our entire stay flawless. Puamana is a hidden gem on Maui’s East side with private pools, beautiful grounds, and a beautiful private beach. A well stocked kitchen and clean unit acted as our home base throughout our stay while we surfed, swam, and explored all of Maui. We will absolutely be coming back to share this beautiful place with others

Puamana Nani
This was our second time staying in Puamana and we were not disappointed! The location is perfect! The condo was very well decorated and well-stocked with everything needed to cook. There were plenty of towels too, in addition to beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler. We love how convenient it is to access the beach right across the street. My son surfed there every morning and we boogie boarded. We were warned about the noise from the highway, which at times could be loud, but ended up running fans to drown out the noise, so it really wasn't an issue. Annie is an excellent host and very good communicator! We highly recommend staying here!

Amazing Find in Lahaina!
Everything was great, from communication to the condo itself and all of the amenities provided! Annie was VERY responsive and provided helpful information and recommendations before and during our stay. The only thing that was frustrating at all was the traffic noise on the highway behind the building which is adjacent to the master bedroom. Lots of loud motorcycles, etc. in the middle night and early morning hours. This is what it is due to physical location, but nothing Annie could possibly do about that so don't let that get in your way of reserving this VRBO. We will be back!

Magical vacation
We absolutely loved Annie's place and left feeling relaxed and taken care of! She was incredibly responsive and a wonderful host. The condo felt homey (nice rice cooker, great internet, comfortable furniture, plenty of towels), and our kids even started referring to it as "home." The community is private and kids could safely explore the property and feel like they had freedom. Every night in the evening we walked to the pool by the ocean and watched the sunset on a large grassy lawn. Thank you Annie! We would love to come back.

One of our best stays!
Annie and her husband were the best hosts I’ve ever worked with - as soon as you land Annie is in contact with you and ensures your time on the island is nothing short of perfection. The unit was clean and beautiful with a kitchen that had everything you could ever need. We also slept so well - the beds were extremely comfortable! I’ve stayed in Puamana in years past and this is the only unit we will rent when we come back. Mahalo, Annie!

Last minute trip to Maui
We have visited the islands around 10 times but this was only our second to Maui. We enjoyed our stay in Lahaina and was the perfect spot to enjoy beginner to intermediate surfing which can be done right across from the rental. The unit was very well stocked with cooking items, towels and extra bedding, soap, etc. and was very clean which are my two biggest desires when renting a VRBO. Annie the owner was very attentive and easily accessed via text. The pool is quiet and relaxing. Only things I would disagree with from the listing is that the TV's do not have cable but are smart TVs that you can use your account to watch (tv in second bedroom was in the closet), the exercise room requires a 25 dollar fee per week and a 50 CASH deposit on the key card, and I would say both Lanais are not as comfortable as I would like. The rear was in the shade and faced traffic and the front was really a small porch at the entrance that faced the parking lot. But given the last year and all it has brought us, this was the best thing that has happened all year. I thank you for giving us a bit of fun, laughter and hope. Mahalo!

Perfect oasis
Our time at Annie’s was so special for our family. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Such a peaceful, tucked away retreat in Puamana. We did not need to leave the property! Yet we were close to everything. We spent our days surfing and cooking meals in the well appointed ted kitchen. Loved our sunset views on the lanai. So grateful!

Home Away From Home in Paradise
The home was perfect and exactly as advertised. Any amenities you could need or want were provided, right down to umbrellas and coolers for the beach. Everything was very clean and the AC on both floors was much appreciated on those warm days and nights Annie and Chris were in contact several times to ensure everything was going well and if we needed anything at all. We hope to stay at this amazing home again soon!
