About this house rental

Downtown villa special for families and friends getaway. It has a private plunge pool, BBQ area, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, laundry area, fully equipped kitchen, private parking (1 spot) with electric gate, air conditioning throughout the house (Bedrooms, living room and kitchen areas). Property centrally located so you can enjoy walking to downtown (3 blocks) and just 5 to 30 minutes drive to all main attractions in the area.

Air conditioning throughout the house (Bedrooms, living room and kitchen areas), you will be able to relax and cool off after your daily adventures or keep it cool if you want to hang out in the house.

You will have a supermarket just 1 block away open everyday from 8 AM to 9 PM with everything you need during your stay.

Excellent property just a few blocks from downtown La Fortuna where you will find bars, restaurants, supermarkets, souvenirs shops and much more.

House was as listed. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor spaces. Nice house in walking distance to many restaurants and downtown area. Close to grocery store.

Spacious and well-situated, just a couple of blocks from the downtown area and centrally located for all of the region's outdoor activities. The patio/pool area was great for unwinding after a busy day. Mario hooked us up with some great activities and restaurant recommendations. Will stay here again if we return to La Fortuna.

The property is very nice. AC in bedrooms was great. Eight of us stayed fro five nights and had a good time. The pool was very refreshing after the many hikes. Short couple blocks to main part of town. We would stay here again

This was a great location and the place was big for a group of 7. However there was only one bathroom on the main floor and the toilet did not flush well. We had to dump the toilet paper in a basket causing an unbearable smell all the while. The place lacked basic amenities like an iron (which is a given in USA). This was minor incovinience, All in all decent place.,

Our group loved the house and the location. We were within walking distance of everything. Got to see so much of La Fortuna. Other groups we came with were jealous. Just one strange thing of note. The house is not completely closed off from the elements. The security door in the carport doesn't have an actual door on the inside. Not a deal breaker, but wasn't completely clear from the listing. A/C is only effective in the bedrooms. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was perfect for our family. The location was nice and convenient for getting around town. The only drawback was having to lock/unlock the back door to access the fourth bedroom. Also: forth bedroom bed was hard and worn out! I placed the one blanket under the sheets for padding, as the springs were hard. (More blankets would have been nice. The house was very clean, located in safe Neighborhood, only minutes walk to park shopping, etc. Would have been nice to have a comfortable lounging area for family to visit together: ie: couches instead of chairs. Over-all great place to stay to explore La Fortuna.

We had an excellent experience with Home Vacations. The house was large and very comfortable, with a great view of the volcano from the private room in the backyard. Alonso was very helpful with arranging activities and travel and was very eco-conscious. Would recommend.

Great central location. Within walking distance to the immediate downtown area. Would definitely stay again. Would heed to future guests that there is an internal waterfall in the rear of the house for when it rains – it can become quite loud but also nice white noise.

Great location. It was a 2 minute walk to the market, where we were picked up for all our tours. Walk into town was less than 5 minutes. Edar booked all our tours and saved us at least $300 from booking myself.

We loved this property and the property management team. From the moment we booked our stay until our departure we had amazing customer service. Eder was so helpful in Getting us situated with the home and helping us plan our activities and car rental service. When we arrived he took us to the home and explained how to use everything. We had a great time with each activity. The white water rafting and ziplining are a must! We were also in town for New Years Eve and it was quite the party a block away. When we were not out we loved relaxing in the home. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. The Soda across the street had delicious food too for a very reasonable price if you don’t want to venture far. This was a good place!

We had an awesome time in our short stay in La Fortuna. This home was great for the kids and there was plenty of room to spread out. We wish we had more time to spend exploring the area. We didn’t need to use the apartment because there was plenty of space in the main house. Would recommend this home, especially for families!

This house was in the perfect location! We were very pleased with it. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us (adults). The beds were a little uncomfortable for us, but that is just a personal preference. Eder was very helpful in arranging tours for us and bringing us anything extra we needed. I recommend this place for families or adults as there is plenty of room.

The property was lovely. We stayed in a 4 bedroom 2 bath home. The main home is 3 beds/1 bath and there is a another bedroom and bath detached in the backyard (You have to take a small stair case to get to the bedroom). The home was very clean and well kept in a nice neighborhood. The area was very safe and there is a beauty salon across the street where you can cut your hair. Overall I would recommend this place.

This host exceeded our expectations. They were so helpful and informative about La Fortuna and set up absolutely everything for our stay. They booked a driver to pick us up from the airport in Liberia, booked all of our activities while we were there and booked a driver to take us to the next destination we were going to in Costa Rica. They also sent us an information packet with activities they offered with local tours. Made our planning so much easier. The House was within walking distance from town and their office. The House was extremely clean and was perfect for our group of 5.

I had such a great time. I travelled with some friends around Costa Rica by car. For some days we stayed in La Fortuna. La Fortuna offers so much to do! It's so much fun. You can enjoy adventure like Canyoning, Rafting or Zipline and also just relax in the Hot Springs. Our home had the best location to reach everything. It's directly in Downtown. Just 3 min to walk to the mainstreet. Just a short trip by taxi or shuttle to the Hot Springs or the National Park. The busstation for travelling around Costa Rica by bus is just 2 min to walk. And also around the area there is an amazing view for the vulcan. The home is clean and lovely organized. The host speaks fluent english and is really helpful. We felt welcome at the first moment! The rooms, espacially the open kitchen and the big livingroom, are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. All in all we had a great time and recommend this stay!
