Stayed with family here - there was LOTS of space in the home which was conveniently located just 12 min away from the airport and in a nice neighborhood. Would stay here again!

well if i'm being honest , it’s not what we expected. it took a day or two to get use to too ! the house layout is back in the day or older. we finally settled in and had to get pass the smell ! the kitchen was decent and large . it wasn’t worth the price i have to be honest i was expecting more ! we came in late and didn’t have a choice but to stay ! we settle in and just dealt with it because we had a wedding to deal with and we didn’t need more distractions. i really wanted to like it but my family reminded me how they felt ! the host was so accommodating to me to try to help with our issues, thank you inna . please don’t take this the wrong way but truth matters to me. aloha

We absolutely loved our stay. Tons of space and located in a nice neighborhood. Pool table, air hockey, and ping pong tables in the garage are a nice plus. Beds were super comfortable and TVs everywhere. The sixteen of us never felt crowded, even when we were cooking breakfast in the kitchen. Highly recommend!

My family loved how huge this place was. The kids had a lot of fun playing hide and seek and they loved the air hockey in the garage. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep however, the mattresses on the bunk beds were really squeaky so it was a little annoying when people moved in their sleep. The kitchen had all the supplies and utensils we needed and they provided plenty of towels, shampoo, soap, etc. Would definitely stay here again if we have another family event in Portland.

The house was spacious and had all the amenities that were needed. To bad the ping pong table was not available, but the air hockey and pool table were used every day, as well as the outside jacuzzi. Too bad the grass and yard were not nice and green and weeds cut down, but thanks for the house and the ability to handle 20 people.

17 of us gathered for a family reunion the last week of June (10 adults and 7 kids). This house was close to the airport and highways, which made it easy for us to get to the Columbia River Gorge, out to the coast, to downtown Portland, and across the river to visit Fort Vancouver. When we left we realized we never used the hot tub because we were on the go so much. The air hockey, pool table, and ping pong table in the garage were much appreciated by the kids and adults (although the net on the ping pong table needs some help). There was enough room in the house to be to all together, or the break into groups. The house was clean and well stocked (although a few plastic containers with covers for leftovers would be appreciated). Our host was friendly and quick with responses. All the adults in our group commented on how well the house served our needs.

We loved our stay at this property. My wife and I hosted our first baby shower with friends and family. Couldn’t have been a more perfect location. Sleeps 20+ people. Comfortably. Multiple bathrooms. The master bedroom has two full size bathrooms. Loaded with fun activities like pool, table tennis and a hot tub with all the chemicals and testers available. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect house for our west coast family reunion. The house gave us plenty of room to spread out. Would recommend this house for your stay.

The house was very clean and modern. It was also much larger than what the pics show online and there was never a single time anyone felt cramped or tight. Ample parking too which is a bonus. Thank you for being great hosts!

Unfortunately I have to give this home a very bad review. This home should not be a VRBO listing. My advice is do not book this home. It is not worth what is being charged. We booked the house for a family Christmas. The size and amenities plus the proximity to the airport worked perfectly for us. However when we got to the home we encountered a myriad of problems. The only reason we did not walk out of the place is because there was a big ice/snow storm and had no other place to go. This home was dirty There is mold in some of the bathrooms, the baseboards are grimy, the carpet is dirty, the floors are dirty and most of the furniture is grossly stained. Some lamps don’t work because of no light bulbs and some are broken. The knobs that turn on the water in some of the bathrooms literally come off. There are slats missing from the blinds. In the kitchen we found an old dirty sponge to use that smelled awful. No replacement. The pantry is filthy. The pots and pans are so old that we couldn’t use a lot of them because stuff scrapes off the bottom. There were no glasses to drink from. Not to mention, the microwave doesn’t work, one of the burners on the stove doesn’t work and the oven doesn’t cook evenly. We had planned on using the grill outside but that doesn’t work either. We bought a new propane tank thinking that’s what was needed but it was not. The grill was broken. So that was a waste of $50. There was no way to turn on the fireplaces. They needed a key but no key was there. I messaged the homeowners about it but they never got back to me. They would have come in handy while waiting 2 days for this house to heat up. The hot tub was not even half full so we weren’t able to use that either. In hindsight after seeing how the rest of the house looked we probably wouldn’t have used it out of fear it’s not cleaned regularly. In the “game” room, we could not use the air hockey table because none of the outlets in the “game room worked and the we only extension cord that had to be plugged into the inside of the house was needed for the heater to try to stay warm. The ping pong table is bent and the net is broken.
Some of the windows don’t close tightly and the cold air comes in. In the front bedroom there was a very large crack. Most of the remotes for the TV’s had no batteries. Towels were tattered and some stained. If one is going to advertise all the amenities and they don’t work it’s false advertising and taking advantage of people.

This property was perfect for the 14 people I had staying there.
Two inconveniences, it is a one butt kitchen and two of the bathrooms are in the main bedroom. Not a show stopper, but I would have liked to have that info before hand.

Our Stay
My extended family and I stayed at this home for my sisters wedding and it was perfect fo us. There were a lot of rooms for the older couples and a bunk bed room for the young adults. This home provided great communal areas for all of us to hang out. The home was very clean and overall we had a great experience.

Big house lots of room
The house had plenty of space. The pool table and ping pong table in the garage were a hit. Close to airport and Portland activities. We had a great experience.

Wonderful property
Terrific updated house that sleeps a LOT of people! In addition to the multiple standard bedrooms, there is also a large room with 6 bunkbeds. Location is fine. The only suggestion I would make to the owners is to add wifi. Honestly, had I onion there was no wifi, I would likely have not booked. But overall an excellent property.

all in all good! We just couldn't figure out the microwave. We followed the instructions as best as we could. The downstair bedroom had water on the carpet, unfortunately we didn't use the room.

Think twice before renting here
The house was the best stocked house we have ever stayed at regarding the kitchen except no drinking glasses (plenty of coffee cups and wine glasses). We had to buy solo cups from the store. The house accommodated everyone and the beds were comfortable. The kids had a good time playing ping pong and air hockey but unfortunately couldn't play pool because the pool cues were broken. We had to contact the owner to get the check in information the day before we left. Usually the owners send this information to us without us asking so we have it well in advance. When we got there the microwave was broken and we informed the owner of no drinking glasses. We called the owner and sent a video showing the problem with the microwave but we never heard from them regarding this. The upstairs tub/shower lever was broken off and the owner just told us to pull on the mechanism to get the shower to work. We had a crawling infant and the carpet smelled of urine and the sofas and chairs and rug in the kitchen sitting area were very filthy due to animal stains. The biggest problem was the location. Two blocks away was what appeared to be a strip club with prostitutes on the corner. One night we heard 4 gunshots. When we went to the grocery store 2.5 miles away at 7 pm on our first night stay, the clerk told us to get in our cars as fast as we could after checkout because this was not a good neighborhood after dark and the store had to lock its doors in between customers because it was so unsafe.
It is just sad that the neighborhood has deteriorated so badly and that the property is starting to show its age. I don't usually give reviews like this but felt potential renters need to be aware of what you are renting.

Kinda outdated but clean
This house is suitable for a big group, I like that the owner leaves plenty of toilet papers, shampoo, conditioners, towels, the things that I don't like is the bunk beds make too much noise when we turn our bodies while sleeping. The house's trim paint is tripped off make it looks outdated. Overall, it was a good stay.

Wilkes was a great location for our trip. There are plenty of rooms and seating areas, the hot tub was nice, the kitchen was great for cooking, and having TVs in every room was convenient. We would definitely stay here again. (*note: Technically, there are 5 bathrooms in the house, but two of them are in the master suite. Functionally, there are 4 bathrooms in the house.)

A great home for family gatherings
We descended on Portland for a family Thanksgiving celebration. The house is very nicely furnished with a large, well-outfitted kitchen (although only 1 oven, which could be challenging for large groups). Overall decor is quite tasteful and understated. Several areas for gathering in groups both large and small. We had a great time!

4 bedrooms upstairs
2 bed room in basement (no windows)
Either then all good
