The complete, absolute lake edge holiday retreat is reputed to be the best property on the
lake edge.
Your own private deep-water jetty, to handle a number of boats, swimming and all manor of fun water activities. Catch a trout off the jetty.
Teach the kids to swim from the beach or jetty. With extra mooring buoy, if needed.
Separate self-contained studio style chalet.
Gas BBQ situated on large deck. Sit back and relax, enjoying the warm summer evenings.

Renowned trout fishing hot spot. Using a glow bug rod setup, catch a rainbow trout from this jetty. Cast the line in to the deep water and wait.

Many of our overseas guests enjoy close activites such as, native bush walks, world class Rotorua golf courses, fine dinning and world renowned adventure activities. A number of guests bring bikes to
utilize the many tracks thru Redwoods and the Tarawera forest.
Fifteen minutes from CBD Rotorua.

Wonderful location. The house was very well equipped for the whole family. We had a lovely stay. It was very warm and cozy house. The beds in the sleep out are more suited for children rather than adults.

Lovely home at the lake. Well described in the listing. Perfect for the 4 adults and 2 children in our group. We did not need to use the chalet/sleep out. Our boat stayed moored to the jetty the whole stay, which was fantastic. Thanks so much!

Such a beautiful spot, with the lake at your feet, the batch was very clean and so comfy with all the amenities you could need . We felt very privileged to stay here as it really was just so lovely . The hosts are amazing to deal with and so lovely . We can’t wait to stay again 💕

This place was just so beautiful. The home was clean, warm, comfortable and had all we needed. Having your own private jetty onto Lake Tarawera was amazing. We enjoyed a swim and setting off in the kayaks provided. We would love to come back and spend some more time here.

My friends and myself had a fantastic stay at this property. Very tidy and homely, right on the water, having your own jetty we found amazing. Owner was always quick to converse on any queries I had. What a lovely spot and well-equipped holiday home, the weather wasn't great when we were there but we stayed nice and warm with the cosy fire place and had a lovely stay with extended family. I highly recommend this holiday home.

We stayed in winter but were snug with the fire. It was extremely clean. Fabulous walks around the lake edge with lots of wildlife to see e.g. trout, native birds. The kayak was a hit with the young ones. Communication with owners was quick and positive. The bach was extremely well kitted out with everything you could need. Morning cups of tea on the lake edge - you can't ask for too much more than that.

Fantastic property in a great location. Really well equipped, cosy fire and super clean home. Brilliant to walk down to the boat on the jetty each morning and head out. Communication from the owners was first class and it was a privilege to stay in a place that is clearly special to them. To top it off, the fishing went pretty well too.

This was a great space for our family and friends to unwind. Our teenagers enjoyed their sporting activities on the water. The rest enjoyed walks, fishing , and relaxing. Fantastic location and accommodation with everything we needed.

The cottage is warm and inviting. The fireplace was cosy in the evening and outside at the lake front gets sun all day. The property is very well equipped and we even used the board games a few times in the evenings. The location is great for exploring the lake if you have a boat and near to other activities at Whakarewarewa and anything you might need in the town. Thanks to the hosts for a lovely relaxing stay.
