The house was great, large enough for the 18 of us. Plenty of space, and rooms. It is a beautiful log home close to the river if you want to fish or have children that want to swim. The manager was extremely helpful and gave some great suggestion for things to do and see.
The only bad comments I have are that a love seat and couch in the upper loft are both missing a chair back. That really needs to be fixed. There are some wiring problems in the kitchen that you can only use one electrical item at a time on each wall. That is no biggie though.
All in all, we would stay there again!

We held our family reunion in the lodge. It was perfect for 28 people from age 2 to 72. The lodge had the space we needed with comfortable beds and Jack and Jill bathrooms. We had room for meal preparation and activities. The kitchen’s two refrigerators and equipment made it easy to fill all the empty stomachs. There is no air conditioning but with the ceiling fans it was tolerable for the one warm day in Island Park. The next two days the temperature cooled and it was pleasant in the lodge. The air hockey and foosball tables are well used but still entertained the teens. We would stay again.

The house was perfect for our family reunion in Yellowstone. The distribution of rooms and bathrooms made it very easy to accommodate our large group. The kitchen was very well stocked and only a bit short on juice and wine glasses. We had an amazing time there. The house is near a great Mexican Restaurant, a decent grocery store and canoe, ATB rental place. Overall, it was a beautiful home for our stay. Loved the fire pit that was well stocked with firewood.

The Moose Hoose was a great property for our family reunion. It was close to the river, but not too close to have little children concerns. We floated the river (Henry's Fork of the Snake River) and took our kayaks and paddle boards out a short walk away to the cabin. All of our children made comment that the cabin was great and what a neat property it was. The kitchen, deck and open spaces worked out well for being together and having plenty of room for everyone to have a good time.

We visited Island Park for a family vacation. We had 4 children and and 11 grandchildren totaling 21 of us. The accommodations were perfect! Seven bedrooms and 5 baths gave everyone their own space and the river was a short walk to its banks. The host was awesome. He was very prompt to answer our questions and help with some concerns.
We would love to returnI

This property was home to our family of 26 for a lovely stay of 4 nights.
Plenty of room for all of us to relax and have fun. We enjoyed the long back porch for morning and evening visiting and the kids loved the upstairs game activities.
Very close to to the West entrance of Yellowstone.

Everything was great except supplies provided.
We only found 2 dishwasher tabs, for the amount days and people we had to buy toilet paper. There definitely needs to be plentiful supplies for what I paid.

Our group of 16 enjoyed the space we had at Moose Hoose. A little air hockey and foosball were enjoyed after Yellowstone. We looked for moose in the spring water near the house, but we weren't lucky. A small note of items that are not provided: shower soap and hair products. It wasn't an issue for us, but if you don't travel with your own shampoo, please bring some. Your large group will love the space this home provides for everyone to be together or find their alone time spot. Yes, it is approximately a half hour from the West Yellowstone Entrance. Also, have your bug spray for the mosquitos. Enjoy your visit!

Overall—great time with family and facility served us well. Had a couple of issues but property manager handled quickly. Suggestions: not enough linens for air mattresses, could have used more towels and they needed to be updated. We enjoyed our stay and family room was large enough for our family of 26, and our evening activities.

My family of 15 adults gather once a year to connect with each other and see a new area of the country. This home was wonderful. The kitchen was fully stocked. The house layout insures no one has to wait for a bathroom. Having 2 laundry facilities was helpful as we all packed light. We would all recommend this home for future stays.

That cabin was very spacious, well kept sand felt like home. Is was within driving distance to the park. It was close to big springs, for floating the river. I would recommend staying here for you family’s vacation.

Great value compared to any others in the area. Island Park location feels secluded but still near river, food and gas. Henry’s Fork just a short walk away and lots of atv and biking trails. Claudia the owner and Mike the care taker were extremely kind and such a pleasure to work with. The entire clan wants to come again next year but stay longer. Save us room!

Wonderful in every way! The property manager was so friendly and gave us some great advice and suggestions. He even provided us cat food to feed the fish with!

It feels like you are in the forest from the back deck. We loved the short walk to the river. We requested a waffle iron and one was brought the same day. We also asked about a good place to go swimming. We did the suggestion and loved it. Some of the kids said that was their favorite day. The cabin is decorated so cute. We had such a great time.

The cabin was huge and was stocked with everything we needed. We did have an issue with a bed collapsing in the middle of the night but the property manager was very quick to fix it. The only other thing that needs to be fixed is the half bathroom door knob. If you lock it , it’s very hard to get open and my 4 year old granddaughter used the bathroom and couldn’t get out. She was very upset. Finally we found a key that opened it from the outside. Also the door leading out to the deck is very hard to open and the handle kept coming off. But for the most part we really enjoyed it and the property manager was the best.

We had 20 family members stay at the Moose Hoose for a family reunion at Yellowstone and had a great time! The kitchen was terrific, everything was labeled and for a house of people who love to cook, they had it covered! (If there could be ad addition of a nonstick pan that works with the induction burner for the next guests, I know they'd appreciate it for eggs :). The kids could have stayed in the house most of the time playing in the loft area and with the foosball and air hockey table, so much fun! The bathrooms could use some updating and some of the mattresses were ready for replacement (upstairs, in the bedroom closest to the laundry room), but overall it was a lovely house and a great stay! Also, just an FYI, this has nothing to do with the house itself, but the mosquitoes were at a 10 at this spot, definitely bring that bug spray! We were not inclined to grill because of them. Thank you for a great time, Moose Hoose and Yellowstone!

We have stayed at this cabin twice now. It is a beautiful place. It has easily become our favorite place to be over Christmas! It does need some maintenance and deep cleaning done but beside that we love the cabin!

We loved the location for our family get away. Beautiful cabin, easy to get a hold of property management any time. We had a few complaints about the squeaky floors, but all in all…it was great!

Property location was excellent. We went into Yellowstone daily but still was able to have family night dinners and evening time. Very spacious house, the large porch was used every night and the beds are super comfortable. We had 23 people stay and never felt crowded. Claudia and the property manager was super responsive.

This place was amazing! They had everything you need including high chairs and toddler seats. The kitchen had crockpots and a griddle among the other listed items. There was plenty of space in the rooms and common area for kids and teenagers to sleep. In our room, we fit a queen size blowup mattress and a pack n play, which was perfect for our family of 5. The owner and property manager were both great to work with! We would definitely stay here again if we visit Yellowstone in the future!

Great size and location.
The location and size was perfect for our family of 20. Beautiful house, but it was poorly cleaned, and not well stocked. One room had only a lamp for lighting, not enough towels for our party of 20, no wash cloths, no hand towels, no dish rags or dish towels. We ended up running to walmart for these items. Kitchen needs some skillets as there was only 1, and hot pads would have made things a lot easier.
Mike the manager at the location, was awesome and very nice. When I booked the property, I had inquired about some information about the area and things to do, as I was planning this trip for 20 people. The person who got back to me was not helpful, basically stated I had to wait till we checked into the place for info. Which for a family this size ranging from 11months old to great grand parents we had to have a plan.
Overall the layout was great, loved the big patio out back.

Great Cabin for Large Group
Our family had a great time here. The river nearby was fun, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of sleeping space and then some for our group of 18. Lots to do and a beautiful area!

Great house for reunions.
Our group thoroughly enjoyed this house! We had 19 people staying on site, the youngest being 1 year. This was better than the pictures let on. There was plenty of parking (our group had 6 cars in group). There was more enough beds for everyone, they even had multiple air mattresses. We utilized both high chairs. The kitchen was AMAZING, it literally had everything you could need. There was laundry on both floors which was awesome with a large group. Additionally, it was great that Mike came over to give us a run through of the house and answer any questions we had once we arrived. The location was ideal.
Our one complaint from the group was that the beds could be more comfortable but we still all had a wonderful time at the Moose house!

Family Trip
Went to Yellowstone, needed place for 28 of us. This place was a fit. Nestled in pines is nice. It's in a tight neighborhood though, very short walk to river, maybe takes a minute. Cabin looks like it belongs right on the shores of a river or lake with huge windows, nice design. The guy in charge was super helpful, and kind. That makes the place even better. Thank you, it was great.

Great Stay
We reserved this rental because its location, accommodations, pricing and great reviews checked off all the boxes for our family reunion. We have had had high hopes and expectations for over a year, and our expectations were not only met but exceeded in almost every respect. Both Claudia, the owner, and Mike the property manager were very responsive to our questions and needs. The only complaints that came from a couple of the adults in our group related to uncomfortable mattresses and some of the pillows and bedsheets that seemed to be ready for replacement. Taken as a whole however, the pluses far outweighed any negatives.

Beautiful place with a lot of comfort as well.
I thought it would be closer to West Yellowstone, but it worked out as we explored beautiful areas around the location and enjoyed them! It worked out great for us... May need to change a couple of the mattresses in smaller bedrooms..for perfection!

The house was perfect for our 21 people family of my kids, grandkids, and great grandchild. The games for the kids worked to our advantage. There were board games, air hockey, foosball, and cards. The fire pit was perfect for campfire gatherings. Kitchen is big and they have every uti sel possible. I would definitely go back.

Amazing cabin, perfect location.
We were a party of 17 and had plenty of room to spread out. Lots of nooks and private space when needed. The cabin was just perfect and the pictures do not even do it justice. Mike was great with his helpful hints when we checked in. Thank you for sharing this gem!

AMAZING ACCOMODATIONS!
Our group consisted of 6 couples. Everyone had their own bedroom. The house had plenty of room for all of us to gather together in the living room and kitchen, but it also had places for us to spread out (loft) and take a nap. It was great to have 2 refrigerators and tons of counter space. The place was spotless when we arrived. A++++
