Beautiful property in an amazing location, close to the beach with walking tracks at the back gate, a stunning outlook and the sound of the waves from the back deck. Our doggie loved the backyard which had ample room for him to run and play. Kate was a wonderful host with excellent communication, allowing us an early check in/late check out so we could maximise our time away. We will definitely stay here again!

A perfect spot on the headland and close to the beach and shops. The house is setup well with a great outdoor area where we spent most of our time.
With views through the bushland to the ocean it created a serene atmosphere where we could relax and escape for a while.

The view of the neat green garden, big gum trees and ocean is so relaxing. We don't want to leave!
Great for dogs with the fully fenced front and back areas, and beautiful wide clearing out the back to walk along the back of all the houses. We only discovered trails down to the pebbly bay on our last morning and had fun looking for colourful shells.
House is very well appointed with kitchen stuff, coffee pods, washing machine, fast wifi, etc. You could stay here for longer periods and be very comfortable. Bed was firm but comfortable too. Only minor niggles were lack of remote for the DVD player so we couldn't turn off subtitles, and the fine spray shower head was a bit meh.
We'll definitely consider coming back! Thanks, Kate. Great place.

We really enjoyed our long weekend at this cute cottage. Great view, amazing deck and very close to dog friendly beaches. Great place to stay with a dog with a fully fenced yard and large lawn area. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and spices and the owner was very friendly to deal with. We hope to be back!

The property owner was a pleasure to speak with and helped with questions or queries. Highly recommend the getaway that's looking for to sleeping to the sound of ocean waves. The property was very clean and had a very generous pantry full of seasoning and spices. Thank you for the hospitality, and we will be seeing you soon again!!!

Quaint and tranquil - it is a gorgeous little property that is perfect for those looking for an escape. The amenities were nice and the large deck was perfect for hosting barbecues. It is also in close proximity to a very private beach and is located in a quiet but attractive area. Overall, it was a brilliant stay.

Lovely views
A comfortable little house with a fabulous deck and a lovely view onto the reserve -- a wide stretch of grass with a view of the sparkling sea through the spotted gum trees beyond.

Trees and sea
2 Adults and 1 dog had a lovely time here at Malua Bay. Great location, house, amazing deck, views of bush and sea beyond. Great cliff path at bottom of garden. Could spend all day on that deck gazing and relaxing. Remember to bring your own sheets, towels, shampoo and conditioner as I did not (quick trip into the Bay solved this) Would we return, absolutely!

Fantastic dog friendly cottage
The outlook to the ocean from the cottage is fantastic through the rear glass wall, the yard, and the decks. Easy walking distance (although steep in places) to Malula Bay shops and beaches, to Lilli Pilli bay and cafe, and a relaxing drive to explore anywhere on the south coast. A lovely, clean, well equiped and relaxing place to unwind, lovely neighbours and it was great to be able to take my dog.

Lovely comfortable cottage and peaceful views
This is a lovely cottage with everything you need in a very nice location. My two dogs loved the huge backyard and the rocky cove just outside the back gate and the fences were good. Guests should be aware that there are other resident dogs on both sides, with just wire fences. They enjoy a bit of a bark and play so some management may be required for some dogs.

Beautiful family friendly getaway
We stayed here for a long weekend with 3 kids and a large dog. We found this house to be one of the best set up holiday houses we've stayed in. The yard was perfect for our large dog and beach access couldn't be better. We found the host extremely prompt in responding to our questions. We would definitely recommend!

Wonderful place
It’s a great house in a location which rivals much more expensive accomodation. The host was conscientious and communication was excellent. We’ll hopefully be back again soon.

Ok for a short stay
Outdoor deck is nice and modern. You catch a glimpse of the ocean and hear the waves. A couple of minutes walk to the next beach. Very hilly and steep steps. A good location to explore Batemans Bay. Indoors, however, we didn’t feel comfortable. Only the bathroom was modern and clean. The kitchen had the owner‘s stuff everywhere and was dirty. We cleaned all dishes before we used them. Bedroom smelled stuffy and of dog or cat. Dog hair also outdoor on the cushions. BBQ looked as if it had never been cleaned. Wouldn’t come again.

South coast gem
What a fantastic find this cottage was. The pictures on the listing don’t do it justice. The deck and vista is amazing. Basic pantry items in stock made self catering that little bit easier. Communication with owner was prompt and friendly. Access to property was trouble free. Really couldn’t ask for more!
