About this cottage rental
A Breezy Cottage is a very short walk to the charming beaches of Rockport, MA. It comfortably sleeps up to 7 people including a twin over double bunk bed, a queen sized master bed and a pop up trundle bed in sun room. In a tucked away corner, this home gives its guests privacy from their neighbors with its foliage of Peach Trees and flowering plants. A garden surrounds the back patio and outdoor shower. In its prime location, guests are a short walking distance to scenic downtown Rockport. Rockport's main attraction, Bearskin Neck, is filled with restaurants, art galleries, tourist shops and much more. Guests can find activities such as kayaking to the Twin Lighthouses to sharing a stuffed clam from Roy Moore Lobster Co. The Shalin Liu Performance Center is the newest addition to our quaint town and brings in musical artists such as Paula Cole, Judy Collins and string performances by John Jorgensen Quintet.

My friends and I really enjoyed the breezy cottage- it was so relaxing hearing the birds all around and walking to the ocean.

My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Breezy Cottage. The five of us found it very comfortable. There are several places where people can congregate (kitchen table, outdoor dining table, living room, porch, indoor dining room and TV area) so everyone is not on top of one another. The porch has the most comfortable swing I've ever sat on--my son even decided to sleep on it one night. The beach is just down the street (especially good for kids) and the business district--filled with cute stores, galleries, and restaurants--just a little further away. Everything is very walkable. The exceptional Good Harbor Beach is a few miles away. There are lots of thoughtful touches (like extra raincoats in the closet). The host is very warm and helpful. Highly recommend!

The cottage was very clean, well equipped and an awesome owner who was super flexible and super responsive. We really enjoyed the swing on the front porch! I loved how everything was in walking distance, including the train station and we were able to take a couple trips into Boston during our stay. Rockport was fabulous, a glimpse back in time. We parked our car and forgot about life for a week. Thank you! We will be back!

We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage. It’s thoughtfully set up and near everything we needed. Parked in the driveway and walked everywhere. Communication was great - Liz was super responsive (and we were stuck in traffic going up and got in about one hour later than planned). Would definitely stay there again! Thank you for everything!

We had tickets for a performance at the Shalin Liu Performance Center and found Liz’s place. It was just for one night. I wish I could just live there! It was a beautifully decorated and welcoming home. All you’d need for a successful visit. Truly thankful for the opportunity to stay. We highly recommend

We didn’t get a chance to stay but the owners were wonderful communicating with us and really flexible with the last minute changes. We were so disappointed not to have a chance to visit. Hopefully soon!

We have been visiting Rockport for over 20 years, so we have stayed in many rentals. Elizabeth’s cottage was one of our favorites. It is simple, cozy, and comfortable. Elizabeth lives next door and was quick to answer any questions. The location is perfect—a quick walk to the beach or town and easy access to the main roads for groceries, etc. This was our first time staying near Back Beach, and we really enjoyed it.

We loved the cottage for its charming decor, all the special spots to relax inside & out, and its convenient location. The giant swing at the front porch was our favorite spot to hang out. Liz was kind, friendly and wonderful! Thank you.

The property was as portrayed. Plenty of space, comfortable kitchen, with many items left for our use. E.g. spices, paper napkins, foil, sandwich bags ... and two gifted bottles of wine.

We really enjoyed this cozy cottage.
The pros: The owner was prompt and so thoughtful. Check in and check out was the easiest I have ever encountered. The location was very close to the beach in a quiet cul-de-sac. The home was clean and very peaceful. It was nice having a second living room that could be converted to a bedroom if needed. The front porch swing was the perfect way to end the day. The internet was very fast. If you want to go to Boston, the train is about a 10 minute walk away.
We would gladly (happily!) stay here again!
The cons: We didn't mind any of these, but some may want to know that the bedrooms were very small. The laundry facilities require going down a narrow staircase.

Only con is the daybed and the queen bed were not too comfortable, although my husband didn't mind the queen. The daybed was for watching TV

Lovely cottage. Within walking distance of anything you could want. Awesome restaurants, shopping, galleries, ice cream! Loved the beaches! Outdoor shower was a big plus.

The photos don't do Breezy Cottage justice! Cozy yet spacious, clean, and the most amazing porch swing you've ever encountered (I was tempted to sleep there overnight). The cottage has ocean views from the kitchen and is a very short walk to one beach a few minutes from another. Easy and scenic walk to Bearskin Neck. Impressive and thoughtful selection of amenities (sand toys, beach buggy, 2 adult bikes, books, and games). Thank you!

Amazing Stay in idyllic Rockport in a Lovely Cottage by the Sea
Rockport is a lovely seaside town right out of a novel. We live in the North Shore and rented this lovely cottage for my daughter and her family who live out of state. We all had a wonderful time. The cottage is very comfortable and easily accommodated my daughter and her husband and three children. There were many family and friend stopping by and also her brother-in-law stayed with them for a few days. The beach is a stone's throw from the cottage and town is just around the corner... We enjoyed everything Rockport as to offer and more.

Excellent cottage and location!
We had everything we needed at this sweet cottage. The kitchen was well stocked, we found lots of books and games, and there was plenty of space for the 4 of us. The hosts, who live right next door, provided us with information about the area and got us ready for a kayaking adventure.

The entire trip was a delight, but this little cottage was such a dream come true. It was one of those pleasant places where you could forget that you had a list of things you wanted to do and just sit on the porch all day. It was walking distance to just about all of Rockport and such a great neighborhood as well. We had a wonderful time. Thank you again. We all loved it.

The hosts were spectacular- had every thing available that we would need- coffee, bikes, toiletries, spices and even a bottle of wine! A few of our favorite spots were My place by the Sea- definitely need reservations but the best food and service! Two little birds was great for a light breakfast or afternoon snack while at the beach. And Strut was a little boutique where we all found a little something to splurge on!

We had a great stay in Rockport. The house is just a block away from the beach and a quick walk into the main strip of town with all of the restaurants, shops, etc. The house itself is comfortable and cozy. We particularly liked the covered front porch. It was also a safe spot for an infant. We would definitely return.

Walking distance to Bearskin Neck
Perfect location allowing us to walk to shops and restaurants and easy to get to the highway too! We thought having no AC was going to be a problem but it turned out that the weather was perfect and the windows and fans provided a very comfortable nights rest. The owners even left us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Liz and Tim were the best hosts and the cottage was perfect for a much needed getaway! We were able to use our SUP boards right at the end of the road, drive to beautiful Good Harbor Beach and eat dinner at night under the lights. We can’t say enough about this property!!

Was a great little house. Had everything you needed very clean and comfortable. Elizabeth and Tim the owners were so nice Just minutes walking to the beach and downtown . Great location and a quiet neighborhood…. Definitely would recommend and will be back.
