Terug naar de natuur, maar wel op een eigentijdse manier!

De authenticiteit en de ligging. Ook de manier waarop met respect voor het verleden toch een heel goed en comfortabel verblijf is gemaakt. Met twee mensen die hun uiterste best doen om je met alles te helpen. Chapeau !

Het is en wennen om vanuit de slaapruimte naar buiten te moeten in het donker, om bv naar het toilet te gaan. Gelukkig hadden we een lichtje bij.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The Old Nest is an excellent place with very kind and hospitable hosts. Well-maintained and clean room. Good food. We loved all the handmade decorations and quirks throughout the property.

Quiet place, lovely food, beautiful nature

Fresh and good food. Nice and kind other visitors.

Bit basic accomodation but all in all i enjoyed it. And close to nature.

More than just a stay!

Not sure what else I can add to all the great reviews, the house is really something, you can see how much love and effort was put into every little detail. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was phenomenal! Sergey and Maria are very helpful, easy- and outgoing. Making you feel really welcome and keeping extra busy with making the whole area more attractive to tourists (installing benches in places with breathtaking views, marking hiking trails etc.) The village is very small and quiet, birds chirping, dogs barking, the perfect secluded getaway. I only wish I could have stayed longer! A big thank you for everything!

Lovely stay in the Rodopes

Lovely stay. I tried to combine working remotely with a stay in the garden and in the middle of nature, and it worked very well. Very good internet. Very nice hosts, and very interesting guests that I met at the place. Dinner was cooked with peppers and zucchini freshly picked from the garden.

Everything was fine.

Such an idyllic place where you can watch & photograph some rare birds and mountains. The owner is always friendly and helps you to explore the area, giving recommendations. We also loved rustic designs everywhere in the house and garden.

All perfect, the gesthouse is very nice and confortable. I think it is the cosiest accomodation in the area. The buildings are nice, made with care and love. Breakfast is different every day and very typical. I suggest to have dinner there, all the products are genuine and local and you can talk with other people at the same table. Dinner should be booked in advance to let the cook know the exact food quantity to prepare

Great location to have rest after long journey, hiking, side seeing.

Stylish, rural and authentic look, feel, ergonomics. Natural and friendly people. Great domestic tea.

Could not think of a more perfect place to stay in this part of Bulgaria.

The location is exceptionally beautiful, the room was clean, comfortable and cozy and the food was delicious. This place is idyllic.

Beautiful views of he hills from the garden. Lovely homemade jams and wine. Swallows flying through the building.

The guest house is easy to find due to direction signs. I really liked the territory with nest on the tree, evening lighting and barbeque zone. There is place to park your car, though at booking.com it is mentioned that there is no parking lot. The rooms are stylish, warm and it's superclean inside. You can get the dinner just at the property upon request - no need to search for food somewhere after a long hiking day. Dinner was traditional Bulgarian and delicious. The host is eager to answer all your questions and give recommendations about the area. Very friendly atmosphere. Pets are welcomed.

It would be nice to have a hair-dryer.

Awesome location, beautiful house and very friendly owner.

It is a great old style Bulgarian house with all the modern facilities. They have a great garden where your dogs can be free and the location is great for hikes, vulture watching, and just beautiful nature! The owners are very friendly and willing to share every information about the area you are looking for.

Amazing place to stay

Lovely traditional Bulgarian guest house in the mountains. Located on the outskirts of the village in a quiet secluded place. The owner of the house Sergey and his employees are friendly and helpful people. The guest house offers delicious breakfasts and dinners, the staff prepares traditional Bulgarian dishes. Amazing nature blooms around the village. There are several tracks for those who like to wander among the rocks. Many thanks to all the guys working in the guest house!
