The local restaurants are great. I mean it, they're great. There is a lot of variety and the prices are reasonable. But, if you want to cook at home, there are some equally great food stores, like Trader Joe's, The Fresh Market, Earth Origins, or everyone's favorite local grocer - Publix. No smoking on the property, inside or out including vaping. The distance to Boca Ciega Bay is 2 blocks. There is an area where you can go in the water with your dog, and another beach area for humans, only.
This is a wonderful area for walking, whether you want to walk on the beach, along tree-lined streets, or in a park. A dog park is 2 blocks north of us and there are public tennis courts adjacent to it. The Gulfport Museum is adjacent to the tennis courts. Clam Bayou is 5-6 blocks east and you can walk the trails that include several boardwalks out into the mangroves. The other side of the Bayou is a municipal golf course. There are 4 public volleyball courts on the beach.

Bindy's Bungalow was the perfect rental for me and my wife on our (late) honeymoon trip. It offers exactly what you need for the perfect beach vacation. Extremely kind hosts, an abundance of grocery stores and shops around, perfect location to spend time in Gulfport, or drive across the bridge to St Pete Beach. The hosts were extremely kind throughout the entire booking process, and responded to whatever questions we had far quicker than anticipated. Truly one of our best VRBO experiences to date.

The place is charming, clean and convenient. We walked to town and restaurants. We would recommend this listing, and would certainly stay there again.

This apartment was great for exploring downtown Gulfport on foot. Almost everything we needed was within walking distance. It was also easy to use public transportation to get to St. Pete beach and downtown St.Petersburg. It was very clean and great for two people. I just wish the living room furniture was a little more comfortable for relaxing in the evening. Overall it was a great place to stay.

The apartment was in 2nd story of house and we loved it. It felt like home! The kitchen had all we needed for food prep and cooking. The king size bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely porch for sitting out and listening to the birds and looking at the trees. We used the BBQ and were able to do our laundry. I would recommend this home to anyone!

When I first arrived on New Year’s Eve the TV didn’t work. It spoiled my whole evening plans for that night. The landlord lives in Ca. And isn’t accessible other than via phone. I was on the phone with him regarding this problem and I (not him) was on the phone with spectrum for 4 hrs. I wanted some compensation for doing that and ruining my night. He said sorry but no. Secondly he wants me to pay $300 for a water leak from the toilet. He never asked me directly but I received a bill from him. He called a plumber, which I took time out of my day to meet and stay there while he worked. The plumber told me “it was a problem that started well before my month visit there”. He said the water in Florida is hard on the pipes and it should be a regular maintenance that owners should do. Clearly not my fault. The landlord received a $500 bill from the city due to the water leak and he wants me to pay $300. I am refusing to do so as that problem had nothing to do with me. Rather it was due to his negligence of the property. The property was fine and in a good location. However My vacation was partially ruined by having to deal with the landlord and him not being available for problems as he lives 3000 miles away.

A Gem of a rental !!
This is an unbelievable gem of a rental. Located about a 3-minute walk to Gulfport. The 1 bed 1 bath rental is perfect for 1-4 people. The apartment is very well maintained as is the whole property. All the neighbors are very nice. The owner and his team are very responsive. If you want the Gulfport experience this is the place for you. You won’t be disappointed.

Cozy Stay
My sister and I really, very much enjoyed our stay. The property had such a homey, cozy feeling. My sister said she would enjoy living there fulltime. Charm and character describe Seascape Cottage. We visited with a couple who stayed there shortly before us and they described it as "old". Yes, the building is older, but we found it comfortable and a bit like home. Could some things be different, sure. That could be true of any place, but it certainly left us feeling sad to have to leave.
