The hot tub was unusable for 4 days of our stay. It was extremely dirty and called to have cleaned and was still unusable after cleaning. Very disappointing.

This is a beautiful home, very clean and appointed. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend to all.

We enjoyed the property, was roomy and had everything we needed. The bike rides to the beach we’re nice. The dock has water and power. And everything was clean. We will stay here again. It’s a great value unit on the water!

Loved the area, the house was super close to a Publix and Winn Dixie. Also we were able to ride the bikes to the beach. The house was pretty much equipped with all your needs, like coffee maker, pots, bikes, kayaks, and a big selection of DVDs. Overall it was a good stay. Only negative things I can say about it, was they needed to clean better. Our feet were black from walking in house. Also the showers needed a good scrub, mold on shower doors. And they only gave us one roll of toilet paper and paper towels. That didn't cover our 8 day stay. BUT, plenty of room to spread out, nice seating on porch, great location.

Simple check in process and a well equipped house! Weather was perfect all week! Our families had a perfect spring break and will be returning!

Minutes to beach, groceries, and restaurants. The house was perfect for 2 couples. We enjoyed the bikes and kayaks.

Property located in a great area easy access to shopping and entertainment. Close to sombrero beach. If you are renting a boat it takes awhile to get to ocean. Cleaning was not up to par. There were cheerios under the coffee maker and the entire place needed a good cleaning. Other than the cleanliness the home is really nice!

Place was nice. Everything was perfect.

This rental was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay and we were very close to everything Marathon had to offer. There is a Publix, Walgreens, and a Winn Dixie all within 5 minutes of this property along with several restaurants! We saw iguanas on the dock of the property and several fish in the canal. This property is perfect for couples but also has room for more as it is 3 bedrooms! I will be staying here again!

House was great!

We had a great time in this location. It wasn’t as large as imagined from the photos but it was still perfect. The house was clean and very open. The sunset view from the outside deck and even from the couch was great! Had pretty much all the amenities and cookware that you need. They are lacking a large frying style pan which would have been nice to have since we did fry up some fish. We made do though and just did smaller batches. Dishwasher worked great. The dryer may need to have the vents cleaned. Took two dry cycles to dry towels. You are a hop, skip and a jump away from both Publix and Winn Dixie, a gas station as well as a Walgreens. Only a 5 minute bike ride to the beach and there is a McDonalds very close by but honestly the prices are absurd. In the outside storage They had 2 kayaks that we never used, 4 bikes that my kids rode daily down to the beach playground and some bait buckets and random other items at your disposal you could use. The hot tub was a nice touch for the kids. Only thing that I will agree with on other review is that the top 1,000% needs to be replaced. It’s falling apart and all of the foam insulation was falling all into the tub when we were taking it off for use. A big mess. We used our fish net to scoop it all out. The A/C was consistently cool even at 72, the master bedroom bed was super cozy both spare bedroom very comfortable per my kids. The mater shower is a bit of a tight squeeze so if you are a larger person it may not feasible to comfortably take a shower. The water pressure as nice though. Last, which was the only disappointing part of the stay for us was that checkout was at 10am so we woke up early to watch the sunrise and start packing up but the cleaning lady showed up at 8am which had us scrambling and feeling pressured to “get out now”. She stayed downstairs while we did what we needed to do but it made for an extremely stressful end of the trip as we had much more time to load our things properly but instead we just shoved everything in the car and left. That definitely needs to be corrected with the property manager. All in all, we do recommend this place and would stay again.

Remodel is very nice! Plenty of room to entertain. Beds were comfy. There are life jackets with the kayaks. On the down side - dryer took a while to dry clothes, outside electrical outlets did not work and no non stick pans. Would definitely stay again!!

Had a fun time staying here. It was nice to be able to ride the bikes to the beach and kayak the canal. The only difficulty was getting the kayaks into the canal from the dock as it is 3-4 feet to the water. The house was nice and had the basic amenities we needed. The only thing that may disappoint other guests is that the hot tub is really dirty. The filter was clogged and the hot tub cover is falling apart into the hot tub. We didn’t care about that as it was too hot and humid for us to want to be in the hot tub anyway. Overall, great stay and would stay here again.

The main house was spotless. New kitchen and new decor throughout. Nice views of the canal with shared dock. Master bedroom was large with a king bed. Plenty of storage for your clothes. We didn’t use the other two rooms, but they were nice. They share the other bathroom. Old small shower in master bathroom. Under the house was untidy. The hot tub was nice, but the cover is old and styrofoam falls in to the tub. Close to shops, restaurants and the beach.

We really enjoyed this property and its amenities. The welcome gift bag was a very nice touch with sanitizing gel, wipes, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. Plenty of linens, bath and beach towels. Kitchen was well appointed with most of our needs for pans, dishes, utensils, etc., had to adjust a bit from what we have at home but that is expected. Saw manatees in the canal a hour after we arrived!!! Only a mile and a half from Sombrero Beach made for a lovely walk in the mornings. Grocery stores, seafood markets, and other stores were nearby and convenient. We visited the Crane Reserve and had a great time walking the paths, saw manatees there as well, parrot fish, and snappers. We also enjoyed the fish pedicure! The only two things to be mindful of is that the kayaks are smaller in size (we truly appreciated they came with the property), however, my husband is 6'4" and had a hard time getting into them. The other, which is only minor and required a bit of scrubbing while doing dishes, is the lack of a large, non-stick skillet. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!!

Overall great property. The hot tub cover needs replaced as it is decaying and leaving styrofoam balls in the hot tub, but overall a very comfortable home that is as advertised. The real estate office that manages it leaves much to be desired. I was greeted by the most hateful woman I believe I have ever met. When we arrived at the the real estate office I was looking for the boxes since they weren’t labeled (corrected on the drop-off since I assume a lot of people complained) but they still weren’t labeled A-F, etc. basically it was a free for all. Why are there not lock boxes like at every other rental house ever?! No one wants to start and stop vacation at a real estate office. I’d rent again (we come down twice a year) but I’d first look for a house not managed by this company.

Loved our stay. House is beautiful inside and out. Loved the bikes available, kayaks and the hot tub. Close to the beach and other places on the island. Will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was very clean and comfortable. It is also quite convenient to the beech and grocery stores. The large deck provided an excellent view of the canal. Our only complaint was that the kitchen was sparsely equipped, but we made it work. It is our understanding that a new owner will be improving that situation. Overall, a very nice stay!

Property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. My family loved the evening paddle board rides and seeing tons of wildlife. Great neighborhood and very quiet and peaceful.

The property looks nice in the pictures but that is as far as it goes. This property is in need of a some TLC. We ended up having to wash the sheets as we found hair on them. We also had to mop the floors as our feet were getting dirty. The kitchen was also poorly equipped if you wanted to cook there. There were no bowls or cutting board and the pots and pans that were there all looked to be hand me downs that were past their useful life. I sent an email to the property manager about the issues. She offered to have the cleaning crew come back but I said that was not necessary as we had already cleaned it. She also offered to have items delivered for the kitchen. I gave her some suggestions but never heard back again. I also emailed the property manager to tell her that a leak had developed on one of the toilets and it was leaking all over the bathroom floor, but I never heard back and it was never repaired while we were there.

The property was awesome The check in and out process was quick and efficient the location was pretty centralized in Marathon key my family and I really enjoyed the property

Nicer than we expected

The house is nicely decorated and well maintained. The location/ proximity to stores and beach are fantastic. Loved the porch overlooking the canal to drink morning coffee. The hot tub is a great feature, especially after a long day snorkeling. I would recommend updating the boat docking area photos, there is no boat lift and fish cleaning station is broken. I will also mention that if you are a lite sleeper or like to sleep in past 7:30am, the street is quite busy and the neighbor apparently works from home and has traffic in and out of the adjoining driveway all day starting very early. Overall great stay !!!

House was in a great location. We really enjoyed the hot tub.
