Very comfortable and clean.
The internet did not work.

The cottage is in a great location! Close access to the beach, down quite a big hill but drove down and parked. We could see the ocean from the deck and hear it when sitting at night. Quiet neighborhood with barely any traffic.
It was a perfect little place for 2 adults and a child. Central location to other areas and a quick drive for shopping.
Wifi would not work at first but contacted the host and they said to reset the modem and router. Worked perfectly after that.
The large deck was a very nice area to sit in the evening and our toddler enjoyed playing on it.
It was very clean and smelled good. We didn't notice any strange smells. It smelled like the ocean :)
Several things other travelers have noted:
The lights on the ceiling in the small room need a longer string, I could barely reach to turn it on.
The elements on the stove should be repaired before a pot tips over and hurts someone.
The tub plug would not stay down. We had to duct tape for the child to have a bath.
Could not figure out how to get the fireplace to work. Turned up the thermostat on the wall with no change.
Would love to have a recycling bin.

The house was clean and in a very good location. Unfortunately we were not able to stay here.
The air quality in the house was so bad we began having trouble breathing as soon as we entered. The musty/moldy smell was very strong. We opened all of the windows and doors and let the house air out for an hour as we stood outside. It was still as bad when we went back in. After being in the house for only about 10 minutes I had to use my inhaler and developed a headache. The effects lasted for more than 8 hours. There was no way we could stay in this house. I immediately contacted the property management company's (Vacasa) 800 number and was told we could be relocated to a different property. After about 20 minutes, someone from the local office called and told me he couldn't do anything because all of the staff who could have helped us were gone for the weekend. (Really! when do most people travel!) We had to find another place to stay ourselves at a considerably higher cost. I requested a refund but was denied. I have traveled extensively, staying in hotels, motels, airbnbs, VRBOs and even hostels and have never found any so bad I couldn't stay there. The only other time I had this same reaction was when I attended a function at a church which I later learned had extensive black mold inside the ceiling.

convenient and close to Salishan but much more affordable; close to the Side Door Cafe! super accommodating team let us add on a day and so late checkout so we could enjoy the beach a bit more after the work part of the trip
the lights for the rooms are really for tall people-could reach the light switch for the room overhead light

Loved this place and will definitely stay at this location again!
Took a while to get used to the smell in the cottage and the tub does not drain properly.

Love the location and perfect little cottage
No wifi when we arrived. We had to keep turning wifi on and off to reset because it kept stopping so had troubles watching Netflix. Bathroom towels were all damp wet. I had to dry off with a t-shirt cause not one towel hanging was dry. Hair in bathroom sink when arrived and bottom of toilet really dirty. Fan was dirty.

We loved the location and how close it was to the beach.
That we did have a carport like the picture showed. We didn't like that their was no fan in the bathroom. And we didn't like that the bath tub backed up water while showering.

Location, near beach, quiet, cozy, comfortable bed
Oven bakes hot

Apon arriving, the house felt like it was 90 degrees and very musty smelling, there was a small, galvanized water heater under the lower cabinet that made the countertop unusable because of the heat from the tank. the burners on the stove did not fit properly and were very difficult to cook on. the refrigerator froze food I put in it. windows in the kitchen and bathroom did not work properly. No heater or exhaust fan in bathroom. tub fills with water when taking a shower and drains very slowly. Someone's contact lens was in the tub after showering. Stains on the living room carpet and a cable tv system that took days and a service call to get working...Now I must say the customer service person I spoke with and the two gentlemen that came out to fix the problem were great, the house was not.
The community access at the end of Wallace St was a nice way to get to the beach, and Glendean beach is very beautiful and clean. I just wish the stay in the cottage would have been as memorable.
In closing I'm only giving this review to you to bring this to your attention in the hopes that you might fix some of the problems for the next unsuspecting guest, but honestly, I cannot be the only one that has complained, and I don't think I will book anything from you in the future.

The king size bed must have had a lot of single people sleeping in it. There was a fairly deep dent in the middle, and my husband and I kept rolling into it during the night.

We enjoyed how cute it was!!!! Would be back 100%
There wasn't BBQ tongs that I could find but that is nitpicking for sure.

The place was cute and clean. Kitchen had everything you would need. Even spices! Good choices for TV options. I liked that I didn't have to sign into my Netflix or Hulu account. Wifi worked well. Area is nice and quiet in the off season. Just a short walk from the beach.
The outside picture is outdated and it was hard to find the place in the dark. The Vacasa sign was behind the garbage and the covered area for cars is no longer there. You can't see the address on the side of the house at night either.
Inside the couch is tragically uncomfortable. The bigger bed has a dip in it, but it was still comfortable. The place was VERY warm even when the heat was turned off.
The only issue with the kitchen was the burners on the stove were lopsided.
Be warned there are no reachable outlets in the living room and the one in the bathroom doesn't work.

Just 2 blocks from the beach it is the perfect location. It is a quiet community. There is easy access to good restaurants and the kitchen is fully stocks if you wish to east in and/or prepare meals there. The bed is soft but we slept pretty good. The gas heater fireplace worked well and the many windows offer great air circulation and views. There were plenty of towels as well as a couple beach towels. There is also a large Gas BBQ on the deck. The tub is huge and the showers is nice as well.
We did not feel good about our initials communication with VACASA. They were not timely about responding to emails. However, once they did respond they were helpful.
The picture of the property is misleading because there is no longer a carport.
The electrical outlet in the bathroom was not working as well as one of the bedroom table lamps.
The helpful cottage information was outdated, with a typo, and missing information.
We had to search for a bed blanket and there was no can for recycling.
The lighting in the rooms (except for the bedroom table lamp, offers enough light to light up the neighborhood. A bit overkill for the small rooms.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the tub was nice and deep. 😍
The house seemed a little musty when we first arrived but that quickly cleared out when we turned on the heat.
