Nutley Cottage is a fully self contained 2 bedroom cottage just a short walk from beautiful Bermagui it is well equipped with most things you could possibly require during your stay.
Nestled in a picturesque setting overlooking Jaggers Bay on the Bermagui River you can enjoy bush walking. cycling fishing, swimming or simply sit back and relax in the peace and tranquility that surrounds you.
Upon arrival you are supplied with all linen. fresh flowers a selection of breakfast items, sweets,seasonal fresh fruit and much more.
Nutley Cottage has ample off road parking for cars,boats trailers etc

Bermagui is blessed with many pristine beaches and fine eateries including the " Clay Cafe and Mudworks", Morissons,Mimosa Winery, Il Passaggio, Saltwater or the Beach Hotel ( just to name a few)with its spectacular views over Horseshoe Bay where many a whale and dolphin can be seen to frolic from the verandah.
Bermagui also offers many Fishing and Whale watching Charter vessels, nature is at your door step, lyrebirds and a wealth of other birdlife surround your lodgings with occasional visits from goannas, wallabies and possums.
Take an historical tour of the Montreal Goldfields or just enjoy the scenic coastal walk or simply do nothing just relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle.

Bermagui is just a short drive from the historical village of Central Tilba with many interesting little curiosity shops and
on the way. why not call into the renowned Foxglove Spires and have a magical wander through the fabulous gardens and enjoy a great meal or coffee at Love @ 1st Bite while you are there.
To the south we have Mimosa Winery, Georgies Cucina and many galleries to visit or explore the small township of Cobargo to the west which has some interesting shops to offer

We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Nutley Cottage and plan to book again. Hidden in the bush, enjoying sitting on the back porch listening to the Bell birds and only a 30 minute walk to downtown Bermagui makes it the perfect escape for us. We love that we can bring our Labrador and our teenage boys particularly enjoyed playing pool.

Loved sitting on the verandah listening to birdsong and watching wallabies. Only minutes from town but so peaceful. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. Highly recommend the wood fired pizzas at the turnoff too.

Our second stay at Nutley cottage with our two small dogs. We love the bushland and birds surrounding the cottage and its close proximity to the township of Bermagui. The cottage itself is so welcoming and with beautiful flowers, wine, chocolates and all sorts of small items gifted by previous people. We love it.

Private basic cabin in amongst the gum trees, Heather's place was a good base for exploring the area. The furnishings are nothing fancy, but perfectly adequate for a comfortable few days. We appreciated the wine, chocolates, flowers, bread, croissants, snacks and extras supplied by Heather. A small space to store our own food items would have been great. Would recommend the coffee and pizza van at the entrance to the property.

Best cabin getaway with teens and dog. Peaceful. Cosy. Comfy. Quiet, all you can hear are birds, which you can watch from the deck. Heather is a thoughtful and caring host. My son and his mate (both 15) had a blast playing pool…and stayed off phones. Pizza van on-site a bonus!! Please can we re book for same time next year…for a week?

A lovely compact cottage set among the gum trees. The hosts are exceedingly generous in the supplies left for our use even leaving treats for the dogs. Dogs are allowed inside and I think they enjoyed lying on the deck in the cool as much as we enjoyed sitting there drinking coffee and listening to the bell birds. We will be back.

We are a family of 4 travelling with our labrador puppy. The cottage was perfect for our needs. The kids loved the pool table and we loved the deck where we would watch the "bird show" every afternoon - the beautiful sounds of the bellbirds flitting between the trees. It was our first trip with our labrador and she loved the bush trail going down to the river. When we arrived Heather had left 2 bottles of wine, chocolates, biscuits, dog treats , lots of breakfast provisions including croissants and jam and there was a beautiful vase of flowers on the table. Needless to say we felt very spoilt. There were loads of thoughtful touches like spare toothbrushes, toiletries etc. The cottage feels very isolated but it is only minutes to town and beaches which we loved. It was such a bonus to be able to bring our dog with is who also had a ball. Would definitely stay here again.

We had our two dogs who enjoyed all their walks. The cottage was lovely, comfortable and clean. Flowers, wine, chocolates, fresh Tilba milk and much more. Quick drive to harbour and shops or a good fitness walk if keen. We had a great time in Bermagui and Heather was am awesome host.Alison John Banjo and Spencer .

The best of both worlds in Bermagui within walking distance of the beachside township and nestled into beautiful bushland near the lake. Cottage large enough for a family of 4 with plenty of games on hand to pass the time away if you feel like hiding away for a day or so

We were blown away with the homeliness and personal touches (and fresh croissants!) on arrival but that was just the beginning of our wonderful stay. Pool table, darts and games for the teens, peaceful balcony with forest and river views, what get like our own personal coffee van out front. But that’s not all, when our local family was caught up in the recent fires, Heather was extremely understanding, extending our stay and offering g support. We can’t speak highly enough about our experience. Thank you Heather.

The accomodation had a house sit feel to it. The decor, furniture and other items are from various eras and although we did not bring a dog, it was noted that pets were allowed inside. We received a generous bowl of fresh fruit, delicious croissants, bread, jam and a bottle of wine on arrival which were much appreciated. The natural bush block leads down to Jaggers Bay which is tranquil and relaxing. Bird sounds are constant and plentiful from early morning. We also saw a wallaby, jumping fish and a turtle while staying at this property.

We had a great week at Nutley Cottage mid winter. We really appreciated all the welcoming treats (flowers, breakfast goods, snacks, wine, fruit). The cottage is situated amongst towering spotted gums with views of the river. It was great to sit on the deck listening and watching the magpies, bellbirds, bowerbirds, currawongs, wattle birds, wallabies, calves after a day exploring the local area. We also enjoyed a couple of walks down to the river.The kitchen has everything you need. A great place for guests with dogs. Communication with the host is excellent.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nutley Cottage. It ticked all the boxes for us especially being dog friendly. Our teenage boys were preoccupied with the pool table and we so enjoyed being amongst the Gum trees and singing Bell birds. We most definitely will be returning!

Heather was an excellent host, we were overwhelmed with the thoughtfulness she had put into covering all the incidentals we would need and a wonderful bowl of fresh fruit on arrival. We had 7 nights of bliss.

Can not rate this property high enough! Everything is there for your convenience and the fresh fruit, flowers, wine and treat basket were so welcoming. We had 2 German Shepherd dogs with us and they had a fine time too with walks down the hill to the river every morning then off to the beach after breakfast. Thankyou so much for being such wonderful hosts.

The cottage is very close to the state forest, with lovely walking trails. And you can walk to the Bermagui River from the Cottage. Or you can just sit on the deck, listen to the bellbirds and see glimpses of the river through the trees

Great place with lots of little touches for a comfortable stay, just a 5 minute drive from the centre of beautiful Bermagui. We very much appreciated the fresh croissants, bottle of season-friendly red and white wine, and much else. Clean condition, gorgeous view and lovely walk down to the river. Our red heeler enjoyed himself too.

Cosy cottage surrounded by bush with distant view of Bermagui River. Ideally located for viewing the wildlife, in particular the birdlife, the cottage is comfortable and dog friendly and an adjacent track leads down to the river. The owners supply a variety of provisions including a selection of breakfast items and a lovely bowl of assorted fresh fruit as well as fresh flowers and a welcome bottle of red and white wine. Our son's dog appreciated the doggie treats.

Thank you Heather & Stephen - My husband, our two little dogs and I had the most wonderful time at Nutley Cottage! It is such a magnificent spot, the bird life, wallabies, magical bush walk down to the crystal clear river are just a few of the highlights - not to mention all the special detail that awaited us upon arrival… the heater on was welcoming, and baskets of treats and thoughts left for us to enjoy. We would love to visit again soon and highly recommend this beautiful place and wonderful hosts to all!

It was really nice to arrive to the cottage already warm in the late afternoon. Fresh cut flowers, a bowl of fruit, croissants and so many other little touches and things to make the cottage feel like our own little home away from home. Waking to the beautiful bird calls, relaxing and watching the sparkle on the river and the peace of the bush all around. Our family really enjoyed walks down to the private jetty and some fun around the pool table and dart board. Such a lovely stay and close enough for us to ride our bikes to town while still feeling like you’re out in the peace of nature.

Heather was a fabulous host - they really understand how to cater for the needs of dogs and people. I brought my husband, two teenage daughters, and very old dachshund for a short stay and the property had everything we needed. I loved the fact there was no wifi - we were able to really switch off from devices. Heather's hospitality was really wonderful with all the necessities provided. Very generous and thoughtful.
