I loved the open concept of the house. The living area opens out directly to face the forest with a magnificent view. It was raining on the day we arrived so it was quite cool for the majority of our stay. Although it did make the pool very cold for swimming but we still had a wonderful time. The house was clean and there were sufficient utensils for cooking. The staff are responsive and friendly. The hike to the waterfall was still not available due to landslides but there are a few short walks around the area that are quite fun.
There were many bugs that came into the house but insect repellant and mosquito coils did help to keep most away. However one of the kids accidentally stepped on a bee in the house and was stung on the foot. Hope that the staff can warn guests about certain insects to look out for so that this does not happen to other guests.
Furthermore, we had our water supply shut off on our last night due to a leaking main pipe but they switched it on again in the morning. However we had to end our stay earlier than the check out time as we could not use the shower or the toilets due to low water pressure.

all the facility is as written in ads , it’s quiet and view is good , pool is clean and pet friendly , slightly challenging to drive up to the villas , but air is fresh and feel secluded with good privacy
housekeeping not done when arrived , walking pathway to rooms and deer park needs to be maintained , as the moss has grown it can be slippery to walk on the steep path

everything was great and nice..
perhaps the meal wise can have more varieties of choices ..

Perfect stay for us and our 2 pets. Though it was raining almost the whole time , we still enjoyed ourselves very much.

Like the surrounding. Cafe is awesome. Kitchen facilities completely can cook. Credit for extra mattress and blanket.
Tembusu room with no front wall open space concept. It is not suitable for our family with small kids. It's far from the pool. Walkway under people house.

location
lack of inhouse cooks and food catering.

Location is good.
The photos on booking.com are misleading. I thought I’d booked a stand alone apartment, but in fact it was a room with a balcony and very basic kitchen. There were also guests very close by so it didn’t feel private. There wasn’t enough shower gel or shampoo, for two people. We were also right next to the car park, so not very secluded. The pillows could have been cleaner too.

the environment is awesome, and the pool as well.
And they also provide bbq facilities, and cooking tools.
staff are very friendly & helpful.
the pillow are moldy already as can be seen under the pillow case.
the towels are has some weird smell, smells like clothes that didn’t dry well during rainy days.
no hot water at all, it was raining days during our trip and we have to shower with cold water which was very uncomfortable.

The environment is really peaceful and the amenities provided were more than complete. Definitely a great stay for couples and groups. Excellent getaway.
4.5
Everything is top notch and were beyond my expectations. I travelled with 3 teenage kids who spend most of their time on phones and gadgets and I wanted to get them away somewhere with limited WIFI. Dusun was the perfect place. My family definitely enjoyed our 4D3N stay in Dusun (Tapir House) and Raju the Manager has been very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The trek to waterfall was closed due to landslide during our visit, so we explored many other jungle walks around Dusun. They are perfect for beginners and is a safe trail that takes about 30 to 40 mins.
Highly recommended if you want to get away from city.
The breakfast is priced at RM30 for a basic meal such as nasi lemak, muesli or bread. Advisable to book the room with breakfast. Facilities to cook and BBQ are provided with essentials, so you can cook for lunch and dinner but remember to bring the ingredients with you as I don't remember seeing a market/shop within the facility.
