Все было удобно и комфортно. Отель красивый, размещение удобно, близко к центру. Отель угостил бесплатными напитками на наш выбор.

clean and tidy great staff helpful and knowledgeable of the city and surroundings
bit hard to find from main road if your not travelling by car as you have to go through a hedge with no signs leading you to the hotel

The inside of the hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. Good shower and staff were pleasant. The hotel offered a free drink at the bar on arrival which was nice.
The location of the hotel is odd. It is in the middle of what could be described as a traffic island. Busy roads on the front and back with the hotel in the middle. To reach the hotel by public transport there seems to be only one way in via a footpath that brings you down an alley - I wouldn't want to go that way in the dark and then past piles of rubbish and bins to get into the carpark. The hotel is then fenced all around so you have to go through a security gate. If you approach from the other end of the 'traffic island' which is where the local shops are, you take your life in your hands trying to walk along a grass verge and then dodge the traffic to get across the road!! Broken crockery was on the path leading to the front entrance and was there for 3 days and still there when we left.
The restaurant was clean but the night we had a meal there several customers sent meals back as the wrong things were delivered to their table. The meal I chose myself was not as described on the menu but after so many others had complained I felt bad and just ate what was on my plate!!!
Would I stay there again? Probably not.

The room is modern and clean, amazing XL bed.
The breakfast was a bit 'basic', especially the selection of bread was bit disappointing. Add some desem or spelt bread.

Seems like this hotel is brand new. All facilities are in good state. Friendly atmosphere is here. The big room was the same as on the pictures.
Unfortunately, I couldn't reach the hotel by phone before arrive. It did change nothing for my stay, but if it was really crusial I would be sad.
Also, despite of new facilities the coffee maker in my room didn't work. I could not say it broke my day but still it happened.

The room was clean and had everything we needed
We arrived quite late (11.30 pm), and the receptionist told us that we would've had to register our check in and payment the day after. We were given the key to our room and went to sleep. At 6am one of the staff members rudely barged in our room (!!!) to ask if we checked in and payed. He just opened the door without knocking, or calling the room beforehand. It was completely out of line and unacceptable. This "incident" was never mentioned after, nor we received proper apologies. I am still appalled at it to this day, NEVER happened to me before (even in very shady hotels with low ratings)

Hotel lovely and warm perfect temperature not too warm not too cold and it was minus 10 degrees Celsius one night .Lobby is lovely layout and has bar with restaurant.Breakfast I love here has everything from hot bacon and eggs ,scrambled eggs ,salmon ,fresh meats , cheeses, feta cheese ,mature cheese ,juices ,breads ,croissants ,wholemeal bread , gluten free bread I think also .Lifts are fast go to fifth floor quite fast . Breakfast staff are always very helpful they cook eggs like poached ,fried if customers need it.
Reception staff were exceptional this time I stayed they were very fast efficient and just always love staying here staff are friendly and helpful in sharing tourist attractions in local area like in Nijmegen.Ample parking outside in car park beside hotel with gated car park which goes to semi underground uncovered car park for extra security.Rooms are serviced every day with new bed sheets new towels new shampoo containers.I can't fault this hotel in any way it even has workout gym downstairs beside lifts .The food for dinner is really good too I tried meat ,salmon, salads and even some of desserts that were truly divine .If I was to pick who stood out in terms of staff Id say breakfast staff and reception staff were tremendous service with smile .They enjoy doing their work and it shows with happy customers and happy staff helping each other get work done in lobby area .Maria at reception again helped me resolve some logistics issues ,helped me and work colleague decide on dinner one evening .I would say Maria is best staff member I have seen working as manager in hotel of all hotels I stayed in Europe these past few years .She does work effortlessly and other staff work well with Maria also because of strong team leader .I would say to owners of hotel group Bastion it's very important to keep this staff member in their hotel true gem treat them well as hotel staff like these ladies I met this week are once in lifetime in hospitality industry .
