Wir sind spät (21 Uhr) angereist und bereits früh am nächsten morgen (8.15) abgereist.

Tolle Lage / Umgebung. Das Frühstück ist mit Euro 25,- p.P. gefühlt recht teuer, aber auf der anderen Seite sehr umfangreich und qualitativ hochwertig - insofern: ausreichend Zeit dafür einplanen ;) Gutes und ausreichendes Angebot an E-LAdesäulen.

Sehr schönes Hotel für eine Pärchenauszeit mitten im Grünen Niegendwo.

Gutes Frühstück mit sehr großer Auswahl und tollen Brotsorten. Schöne Räumlichkeiten und sehr leckere Smoothies und liebevoll ausgewählte Marmeladen und Co. Außerdem pancakes, Eier und Speck. Sehr schöner kleiner Wellness Bereich. Tolle Lage mit einem Park. Schönes Restaurant

Der Service im Restaurant war gemessen am Niveau und den Preisen sehr traurig. Wir haben ewig gewartet zwischen den Gängen, wurden oft nicht wahrgenommen und hatten ständig leere Getränke. Das Dessert war etwas enttäuschend und die portionsgrössen nicht immer stimmig. Die Zimmer zum Parkplatz sind recht laut, wenn morgens alle losfahren- nix mit Ausschlafen.

Ronduit heerlijk.

Onze Junior suite. Na een dagje wandelen voelde die geweldige, prachtig ingerichte ruimte weldadig aan, bijna als thuiskomen. Dit gaan wij zeker niet vergeten!

Ik kan echt niets andere bedenken dan dat de dekbedden iets te warm waren voor de temperatuur op de dagen dat wij er waren. Het zou fijn zijn als de mogelijkheid van een dunnere variant ook bestond.

Nice surroundings, staff & restaurant/bar

The hotel room and mattress are very warm even with the window open. The room is spacious, but it could use some updates. There is a broken card holder for the electricity, and the bathroom accessories are incomplete. The chairs in the breakfast room need to be replaced, but the breakfast itself was great! Considering that we were in a luxury room, I feel that the value for money for this room is not justified.

Absolutely lovely setting and architecture. Fantastic spa and great bar/restaurant.

The level of English was surprisingly low considering that 95% of Dutch (or people working in the Netherlands) speak great English. Not a big issue but slightly frustrating - apart from that perfect.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel close to Vaals and to Aachen, which was the goal of our trip. Very good breakfast. Parking in front of the hotel, which is very convenient.

That's not a castle and it is rather expensive. The swimming pool is relatively small.

Overall a pleasant stay but hotel has room for improvement

Friendly staff that was super accommodating to our requests (cot in the room for our baby, extra pillows, late check-out). The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was easy. The location is great for exploring the region. Lots of beautiful walks in the area.

The rooms were very basic and felt a bit outdated. I missed the usual amenities that one would expect from a 4-star hotel. The balcony was a big disappointment as you are basically sharing it with all of your neighbors and have no view whatsoever. The room faced a noisy road but luckily it quieted down at night.

Wellness services need to be booked in big advance before the trip-nothing was available when we arrived:(. Also you need to walk outside to different buildings for breakfast.

Cold pool water

The hotel is nice. The nature and the environment is very beautiful. The breakfast was good.

The only indoor activity that we can do was swimming, that is okey but the pool was cold. The bubble bath was not working. The temperature of the water was really low. My 2 years old son likes a lot swimming but he got cold and the last day we didn't want to swim. We had still time but we checked out. And there is nothing for small children, they can make in the loby or in the restaurant a small playing corner with some toys and books for children.

Great hotel for a special stay.

Comfortable and spacious hotel. Huge room with comfy beds. Fantastic breakfast with gluten free options.

Pool and wellness area was a little crowded. Also the water machine at the fitness room was broken and no alternative water source was made available.

I would certainly go back again in autumn to enjoy the beautiful surroundings this place is located in.

location was fantastic and the restaurant had really good food.

there is a castle but the rooms are not in the castle. they are situated on a more recently made wing. we didn’t expect that.
