very enjoyable stay, setting was tranquil and peaceful, would definitely visit again

The tranquil stting, peaceful environment. Pleasant take and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, very friendly staff, room was good, but the toilet is very small, would have preferred a bigger shower with the wash basins in the the bath and not in the room near the sleeping area.

The place is very big with more space to travel around ,a beautiful pl

The breakfast was nice ,we both enjoyed. Also chefs who were assisting us were exceptional.

I liked everything about the place,it's just that there are activities such as bike riding and golf carts of which we were not familiar with or not presented to us

Disappointing

Rooms were lovely and Cosy.

Breakfast was average, staff not too friendly we were later told some were trainees who didn't even know basic things that we asked for.. Spa was nice and the jacuzzi was lovely but overpriced for just 30min but assistant wasn't very accommodating. Dinner was not up to scratch they didn't have much for desserts they claim to be out of stock which is very bad in my books. We only had one choice of dessert which was cheesecake and it was very Artificial not good at all. San lameer needs to seriously improve their service levels.

It was relaxing overall.

The room we had was deluxe with the balcony and it was very lovely and relaxing.

I was disappointed with the head chef's attitude at breakfast. She was not very polite with my requests and not customer friendly.

The room was clean. The breakfast staff and receptionist were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious!

Some staff were rude and didn't bother to greet even though we greeted them first. We didn't have hot water as there was a problem with the thermostat. The hotel didn't let us know that there was a problem and we waited in vain for hours for the water to get hot. The room service menu is very limited.

Very disappointing - never again!

Staff were friendly and trying their best.

They didn't have most things on the menu in the restaurant. I was questioned about my daughter having breakfast and told I'd need to pay extra for her but I had already paid for her when I booked! The kids bed in the room was not adequate so my child had to sleep in my bed. There were renovations going on which was disruptive and the WiFi did not work! the spa is over priced and overall it was a very disappointing experience. We'll never go back!

very welcoming, hotel is a little dated but clean and service was great.

The staff is the absolute highlight of the hotel. breakfast was very good. there is a free 9 hole course you can play.

i have stayed in San Lameer before and when you are a family booking two rooms in the hotel it might be cheaper to just book a villa on the same premises for half the price.

I liked the scenery and the setting as well the beach

There was no water from time to time. We were not able to shower and received little assistance in this regard in terms of being offered solutions and alternatives. There was also an abnormal delay in obtaining hot water. Very disappointing. Also the buffet breakfast lacked the variety that we anticipated especially as halal and vegetarian foods were concerned

AVERAGE AND UNDERWHELMING TRIP

The chefs at restaurants were accommodating to my personal needs,like making a meal for the baby and for vegan meal for my hubby My family was satisfied with the breakfast options and the breakfast team was always so nice and accommodating. The rooms are clean and newly renovated which was nice. The room service is good and better then going in person to restaurant or bar. the location of the resort is lovely

Our overall experience at San Lameer was disappointing. Started off with my husbands experience at the gate entrance, the sign in process was shocking and they were treated so badly. We experienced some undertones of racism and arrogant which was so disappointing and backwards, but we also experienced this within some of the guests from the resort. They really need to visit basics and be mindful of such. The restaurant by the pool service was shocking during the day. This was due to number of employees i think , there was literally no service. On our last day, we literally walked away to our rooms because we had been waiting for hours to order Although the resort is in South Coast which is beautiful, outside of sitting by the pool or going to beach there should be more to do with kids and family within the resort. The connection / Wifi connection is poor. Very poor

Great facilities, baby friendly, lovely food. Our room was cleaned properly and we were also provided with a crib for baby.

The type of service we received was dependent on the who helped us. Some staff were exceptional and others barely noticed we were waiting for service. It's unfortunate that only after we complained (having to wait in the rain for a seat at breakfast, and being misinformed that the hotel only had one highchair), did we receive better service. One recommendation would be for more healthy meals to be available on the kids menu please. I had asked for a portion of veggies for my little one and this could not be provided as it was not part of the standard menu

Friendly staff and restaurant food was good. Pool was good and grounds are lovely

WiFi, throughout the hotel, is appalling. Bedding could have been changed at least once during a week's stay.. The hotel needs some maintenance - leaky windows, general look & feel is a little too rustic
