Very relaxing and enjoyable stay

Very comfortable house with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It has all you need to prepare your own food if that’s what you enjoy, but there are many options of places to visit for meals if you prefer. Good AC which really helped in the 40+ degrees heat.

The pool was a little further from the property than anticipated but this wasn’t really an issue as it was a lovely pool

Peaceful and pretty

Views from the property were brilliant. Pity the lake had dried up a bit but still pretty.

Property is in the Malaga province which does not mean it is actually in Malaga. A fair distance out but this is normal for Spain.

Fantastic apartment with Fantastic views

Everything was excellent. Isa was so welcoming. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had all the tools and cooking facilities you need. The terrace and BBQ outside has fantastic views of the mountains.

Superb

Very peaceful and tranquil place near the beautiful walking pathways in the nature. Distant from the bustle and noise of the city. Apartment was very clean and it had all the needed equipment.

The were issues with getting warm water from the tap (cold showers). Also, there were no extra cushions/blankets; we thought inclusion of such items would make the stay cosier.

It is located in a beautiful surrounding, peaceful and relaxing environment. The accommodation was clean and has all the facility that we needed. The host is so helpful and friendly. Although it is situated in a remote area, it is not difficult to get around.

I guess in the summer, the bins need to be changed more often.

Very good

Lovely property in a very peaceful and beautiful location. Good size swimming pool and great views from our large verandah. A good get away from it all holiday.

We liked everything and would certainly consider rebooking the property again.

Summer hols 2022

Location is great and not to far from Lake Vinuela which there are stunning views of. Comfortable accommodation with everything you need for your stay. Lovely pool which is not too busy so no problems getting a sun bed. Relatively quiet so you can enjoy a relaxing break from the every day stresses of life. Close to some nice restaurants our favourite of which is in Los Romanes.

Great house with pool in Andalusia

We loved staying here! It was our second house that we rented in our journey in Andalusia and the change of scenery was welcomed. The views from this house are amazing, mountains around, the valley with many fruit trees (you can take a walk to the lake) the lake down below, the swimming pool (beautiful and clean) and the many fig trees on your way there. The house was well taken care of, clean, comfortable, with two bathrooms (great for a family!), the hosts were super friendly, quick to respond and super helpful with all of our questions and also with us bringing our eldest daughter along at the last minute: they fixed an extra sleeping place for us. Overal a great place to do daytrips from, or to just rest and enjoy the Andalusia views and tranquility.

The electric cookingstove was small (2 pits) for a family and was a little bit broken. We love to cook, also on holiday, so this might be improved for the next visitors!

Amazing family holiday

The building itself was very comfortable to live in, it had all the daily needs. The staff were very helpful in our time of need and were very understanding. Overall an amazing experience 10/10 would go again.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat.

Everything was perfect, couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. We love rural accommodation and like to have our own space to relax and Alojamientos Huetor had everything we needed. We spent most nights on the terrace with a BBQ, dinner and alcohol, it's so peaceful. The accommodation was very clean, kitchen extremely well equipped, aircon in both rooms and the living area. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful and made sure everything was ok. There are no restaurants or bars within walking distance so you definitely need a car, but can recommend one only 15 min taxi ride called Venta El Charco, was very good. Overall a great experience and will definitely come back if we visit the area again.

Fantastic location, friendly service and beautiful property - great value for money!

The property was spotless, roomy and had lost of facilities, including a swimming pool shared with other residents. Isa (the host) was friendly and very helpful . She even drove from her house one night becasue we thought we'd lost our key (as it happened we found it). She gave us advice about local restaurants and places to visit. There were also breathtaking mountain views from our balcony. Excellent value for money.

The property was a little more isolated than we expected and the difficulty we encountered was getting to a bar / restaurant without the use of a car. The nearest place was about 3 miles away and this was mainly uphill. We were initially looking for a local bar / restaurant within easy walking distance. As it turned out, we had to use our car every time we went out, meaning only one of us could drink. As a result, we bought drink and spent a number of evenings at the property. If this isn't a problem for you, then this place would be idyllic.

Peaceful, relaxing, set in natural beauty. Highly recommend.

The host is absolutely amazing for starters. Great communications, nothing was too much trouble. The property is really lovely - great size, fab facilities, clean. Outside area with view of the lake, also a separate porch with drying facilities (perfect!). Aircon in the rooms works so nicely. The swimming pool was so nice too - we went every day and often had it to ourselves! The area is wonderfully quiet - so rural and peaceful. Not the place to go if you want a party, but just stunning with natural beauty! You need a car for sure! Perfectly placed to get to a range of amazing locations that are in the vicinity. Highly recommend.

Very pleasant stay for nature lovers, highly recommendable.

The beautiful and quiet setting. Comfortable accommodation, clean and well furnished. The pool, the magnificient view of the surrounding mountains. Pleasant owner and staff on site, etc.

The only thing that gave us a bit of problem was regulating hot and cold water, but a minor thing we are sure they will sort out.

Perfect house in quiet setting

Beautiful location, far from the exiting Costa. Comfortable house and kitchen with all amenities. Friendly host Isa was there to help us out with all questions.

No restaurants at walking distance. In winter time, the fireplace can hardly heat the room.

Amazing nature getaway in the Spanish mountains.

We booked a four night stay at this property as we wanted to enjoy the Spanish mountains during our road trip through Andalusia. We could not have booked a better place. The house itself is really comfortable and has all the necessary facilities. The surrounding area, the mountains and the lake are stunning. The host Isa is amazing, she helped us out with an electric heater when we asked for it. And as a bonus, we have been able to see the sun rise from our appartment every morning, with views that blew our mind. If we ever return to Spain I would book here again.

Location, views of the lake. Peace & quiet. Lively pool. Host, Isa, was excellent. We had an issue with the lounge blind, the cord broke, which was repaired very quickly. Would definitely stay again

Great house in a phantastic environment.

We are experienced travellers and this was one of our best experiences ever. Comfortable house with airco where you need it, in the sleepingroom, a swimmingpool and a phantastic view. Good connection with Isa the contactperson. Granada and Gibraltar within 2 hours, the beach 30mn. Surroundings with many nice white villages, such as Comares. I can absolutely recommend this house!

Perfect stay for a family with kids.

Excellent location, very close to wonderful beaches and beautiful towns. Fantastic pool! The host was very helpful with recommendations and the house had everything we needed.

A return visit to our favourite holiday accomodation

We stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much we returned -the situation is just beautiful and Isa and her brother very friendly and helpful . A car is essential and helps with visiting this lovely area of Spain..

A little slice of perfection

We totally loved it. It is a self catering chalet house with every conceivable item you could want. Spotlessly clean, and with a beautiful view over Lake Vinuela. We had chalet 6 and it had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. With a perfect shower for me as Im a bit wobbly on my feet. The whole experience was amazing. Isa met us on ourarrival and she is charming, so smily and so helpful. We would love to go back, even thinking about going about Christmas time!!! Thanks Isa we will be back.

Will be staying there again soon!

The whole place was beautiful and scenic and very remote! The villa was clean and spacious and relaxing with 2 sets of outdoor tables and chair and sun loungers! Highly recommend for a quiet get away!

Nothing to do with the villa at all! The only down side was the mosquitoes due to the recent floods but nothing to do with Heutor!
