Central location, spacious room, budget friendly.

It's so close to everything. Bus station 2-3 minutes away if you want to take the bus to Fuengirola beach. Shops, restaurants, town centre everything is right next to. Clean, quiet, some guest though like to shut the main entrance door at 3 am and stamping notice for hours. That was very annoying.

If you're on the fst floor you'll hear all the walkings and foot stamping in the above room.

Lovely quirky property in a great location

The location and approach to the property was clean and pretty. The rooms had a quirky and spanish feel. Communication and information prior to arrival was very good. The room size was good and there was air conditioning with a window out to the patio with a table and chairs (rooms 8 and 9) Really like the fact that we could self check in, it was quick and easy

There are quite a few stairs to the upper rooms, fine for us but if stairs are a problem you should probably request a lower level room. Beds are firm foam, so if you like soft matresses, you may not like them. Had to keep turning the shower off and on as the drain didn't drain very quickly

We love this little hostal and it continues to be clean and comfortable and a great place to stay.

We stay at this property every time we visit relatives in the village, so this is about our sixth time here. It’s always very clean and comfortable. It’s very close to the old square and very close to everything you need, bars, restaurants etc, but because it’s tucked away and not on a thoroughfare it remains very quiet and peaceful.

We had a problem in the night with very noisy guest at 3 am. There is nobody on reception at night so we had to go and ask the person to be quiet ourselves. Also this time I was surprised we had to pay cash for the mini bar usage (four rooms) and we were expected to keep tabs on what we used each day. It would have been so much easier if we had been able to pay by card when we were paying for the rooms.

Cute hostal with a comfortable bed and decent shower facilities.

Very well situated for access to Mijas Pueblo and all it has to offer. Despite being so close to everything it was quiet. As we had a room on the upper floor we enjoyed being able to see the sea. The small fridge was a bonus with a mini bar- which we didn't use but we can see the benefits of this in the hotter weather.

Lots of steps and cobbles to access the accommodation and again for us up 2 flights of stairs to reach our room with luggage. It might not work for someone who can't carry bags etc. It was further from the car park than we expected but we managed. As you can't park near the property that has to be a consideration as you have to pay to park in the public car park which is now not as cheap as it was.

Hotels were booked so we stayed here and It worked out surprisingly well.

The location, the price and a comfortable bed.

Great break with group of friends in an ideal location, reasonably priced.

Great location in the centre of the village. Friendly staff always willing to help. Although we arrived earlier than check in two of our four rooms were available.

Maybe seating facilities on the roof terrace could be improved as an external seating area for guests.

The communication with the staff . They contacted me via WhatsApp with the directions to the hostal, which was very clear and useful. It's in a great area and had a great price. The facilities of the room were ideal and the bed was really comfortable too.

stayed at this property a few times now and staff are always friendly and easy to get hold of if needed, the location is perfect and is in the centre of mijas town with lots of local bars and restaurants within minutes. rooms always spotless and fridges always stocked well on arrival. very quiet location at night with no noise. tea and coffee making facilities in room. rooms cleaned daily with new sheets and towels. would definitely recommend and will be returning soon.

Loved location and friendlyness of staff. Would stay again.

Location was superb, couldn't ask for anything better.

Bathroom door needed oiling, very squeaky. Room next door were very noisy and didn't respect other guests. Woken at 2.30am first night, and 12.30am second night. Not hotels fault, just wish people could be more considerate.

Stunning views down to the coast, amazing sunrises from our balcony, right in the centre of Mijas close to everything. M

Beautifully situated, really nice interior done in a traditional spanish style. The host was amazingly helpful and friendly, she couldn’t have been nicer.

Lovely hostal in old town

Lovely hostal right in the centre of Old Town 👌 very close to everything, breakfast was not an issue as a lovely cafe was close by, spotlessly clean and Margaretta was very helpful , short walk to bus station where you go anywhere along the coast

The only issue was lack of shelves in the lovely bathroom for toiletries to go
