Very poor

The breakfast was very good

The location is very poor. It is right next door to Swansea’s train station so very noisy, the car park is shared with train station and does not feel safe. Rooms were of very poor quality lacking basic facilities. The pictures advertising the hotel are very misleading.

Worth a night or two, but pricey for what you get.

I loved the spa bath and how big and comfy the bed was! Staff were always friendly and if we asked for anything nothing was too much.

The bathroom sometimes smelt like sewage. Buttons were missing off the light switches on the wall. I’m someone who loves to have AC and was thrilled when the room had AC… The problem was that there was no remote control for it, I spent every night trying to figure out how to change the mode on the AC, it wasn’t doable. It was on heating mode constantly but on the lowest setting possible. In some ways it was nice, in other ways I woke up sweating and sticking to the bed sheets. Other than that it wasn’t a bad stay, but I would recommend getting better tvs with Netflix available, my stay cost a total of £501 for 3 nights, it was good and it had its luxury vibe to it. But I’ve stayed in other places for a cheaper price with better tv and ac options. I would love to stay here again but maybe if there has been improvements made. The walls are also quite thin so you will hear doors closing and people talking, walking around etc. the toilet seat was also wobbly and broken so that might need replacing. But other than that it’s still a lovely hotel.

Generally good stay marred by lack of room ventilation.

Location - next to station especially. Food was good and bar food was good value too Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Room didn’t have opening windows (at front of building) smelled damp/musty and aircon unit was extremely noisy, which made for a hot stuffy night.

Hotel lovely, staff really friendly and helpful. Brilliant location right next to train station. Room really nice, extremely clean, bed very comfortable. Food great. Price very reasonable

Perfect location, fantastic staff, lovely place to stay

The location slap bang in the city centre, massive car park that was cheap. Railway station and taxi rank outside the door. The room was perfect and very comfortable. Breakfast too drawrer

the bed was very comfy and the bath was lovely. the soaps and cookies provided were excellent too

the lock for the toilet had been knocked off and the windowsill was soaked, though I know that’s not your fault.

The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. The hotel has been recently refurbished and was very comfortable.

The only negative was a set of sofas in the bar had seen better days but apparently the owner has a sentimental attachment to them. After the lovely foyer they came as a bit of a shock and put a bit of doubt in my head as to what the bedrooms were going to be like. Thankfully the bedroom was lovely.

Couldn’t find a fault perfect couple getaway

Location was perfect it was right opposite the main train station and car park was literally a 2 min walk, there’s a Tesco express right opposite also. we had a fridge in our room which I wasn’t expecting so that was a plus. even though it’s by a busy area you can’t hear it in the rooms they are so quiet and peaceful. it’s a 10 minute walk from the Main Street which is really handy for drinks and food if you wanted to dine out like we did, staff were very friendly and room was clean honestly couldn’t fault it at all
