Hôtel face à la mer

Hotel très bien placé avec vue sur la mer, proche du centre historique. Hotel très propre, cuisine très bonne ,petit déjeuner copieux. Personnel très agréable que ce soit à la réception ou en salle. J ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel que je recommande. Très bon rapport qualité prix. 🙏

Cordialità dello staff, a partire dai camerieri, fino al personale delle pulizie. Una menzione speciale per il direttore che ci è venuto incontro per un spiacevole inconveniente. Ci torneremo sicuramente in futuro.

Estancia agradable

La ubicación fabulosa. La habitación con vistas al mar era agradable pero el bufet del desayuno muy mejorable.

Séjour face à la mer propre du centre-ville

L'emplacement, la propreté et l'équipement de la chambre, le balcon avec sa vue mer, l'accueil (mention spéciale pour le jeune homme et Maurizio)

Un peu de bruit venant des établissements voisins, préférez une chambre sur jardin sinon.

Super séjour dans un hotel presque parfait

•L'emplacement parfait, face à la mer (petite plage rocheuse), •le balcon avec la vue sur la mer, •la petite chambre single avec toutes les commodités (coffre-fort, frigo...), •le bon petit déjeuner dans une salle avec vue sur mer, •le quartier sympathique et authentique, à une courte distance de marche du centre historique •le bon rapport qualité prix, •le personnel affable et efficace.

Juste un tout petit bémol: un petit bourdonnement émanant de la boîte à fusibles, imperceptible dans la journée, m'a un peu gêné dans la nuit très calme et j'ai résolu le problème en la débranchant chaque nuit: je n'ai pas besoin d'électricité quand je dors!

Je conseille fortement. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Personnel au top.

L’accueil et l’emplacement. Personnel serviable et souriant. Dîner et petit déjeuner de qualité. Centre ville Alghero accessible à pied en 10mn par la promenade en bord de mer.

Absence de parking devant mais parking gratuit juste à côté.

Hotel semplice ma confortevole, personale molto gentile, colazione ottima ma la cosa più bella è stata la vista stupenda sul mare dalla camera.

Unica pecca è stata la mancanza di ascensore per il terzo piano.

Sehr schönes Stadthotel mir Flair

Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber in einem älteren Bau sehr schön renoviert und sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend und die Lage des Hotels ca 10 Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Das Hotel liegt nur durch eine Straße vom Meer und der Promenade getrennt. Keine direkte Meerbademöglichkeit (Strände leicht per Auto erreichbar). Nicht immer leicht einen Parkplatz in der Nähe zu finden.

Schwierige Parkmöglichkeit, so man mit einem Mietauto kommt

I have very fond memories of this hotel and their excellent staff

Room 71, balcony with panorama view, excellent location, sea front, excellent restaurant with very friendly staff. Reception open 24/7 and very helpful. Overall; Great value for money. Definitely recommend this hotel.

My stay was wonderful, and I highly recommend this hotel.

I love that the location is on the water and that it is a short walk into town. The propety was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

The breakfast selection was limited. I was dissapointed that there was canned fruit instead of fresh fruit.

Amazing 💗

It's a 3 star hotel but for me it was like 4 🌟. I expected to be good because of all the good reviews , however it exceeded my expectations. Everything was perfect. Staff very professional , kind ,nice and helpful . All of them .🥰 Great breakfast. Very , very clean room with all the utilities , and amazing view from the balcony. Location perfect , very close to the old town , and you can only enjoy the walking 🥰 Fully recommend!!! Best in town! When I will return to Alghero I will definitely come back to El Balear.💗💗💗 Thank you all for all your efforts!!!

Comodo y Accesible

La atencion en la recepcion. Nos dieron habitacion superior a la reservada. Todos muy amables y serviciales. Muy limpia y amplia la habitacion con hermosa vista al mar.

No tiene parking. Pero se puede estacionar sobre la calle cerca solo q dias de mucho turismo es dificil conseguir lugar.

A friendly comfortable hotel with good food and fantastic views

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and very comfortable and the view from the window across the bay was fantastic. The breakfast and dinner provided in the restaurant was tasty with lots of choice.

Having a sea view meant that we were in the rooms at the front of the hotel where there was no lift access. This meant 2 flights of stairs every time to access the room, and it was difficult for us 'older' people with luggage, although I'm sure someone would have helped if we'd thought to ask

Location was excellent. Lovely front terrace. Bar abailable. Breakfast was adequate, but not great.

Overall the hotel is clean and has a nice sea side location, 10 minutes walking distance to old town along the promenade. The single room and bathroom is quite spacious, bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Had a nice little balcony and was lucky with a sea view. Breakfast was good. Nice staff. The close by beach is not so tempting for spending time, but on the door step is a beach bar which was quite nice.

Furniture and the hotel is a bit outdated.

Location is super .Great choice for breakfast

No lift in extreme heat. Evening meal in the restaurant was not great the menu was deceptive . Ordered stwed prawns in orange and received 4 prawns and I slice of orange to the side .

We enjoyed the perfect location and the excellent staff!

Our four night stay at Hotel El Balear was excellent! This comfortable and pleasant sea view hotel is located in a prime location with numerous cafes nearby and only a 10 minute walk to the main part of town and the port. In front of the hotel there is a lovely promenade bordering the pristine sea, and this walkway goes to the old town. We booked a triple room with a beautiful sea view and a balcony. This well-managed hotel has friendly, helpful personnel who are eager to assist the customers. The congenial staff at the front desk helped us with luggage and assisted us with restaurant recommendations. In addition, we were impressed with the professional, friendly waiters in the breakfast room. They were highly attentive to us and offered us perfect cappuccinos. There was a generous, delicious buffet breakfast with freshly made pastries, fresh fruits, and a variety of hot selections, like eggs and bacon. We highly recommend Hotel El Balear!

The main lobby and bar needs more comfortable and inviting furniture and space.

Nice hotel in best location in Alghero

Nice, atmospheric older hotel in a perfect location facing the sea and a short, pleasant walk into town. If you can afford it, definitely worth booking a superior room in the front of the hotel, as the view is stunning. This is also the nicer part of town, as opposed to the northern end, which is much more congested and noisier. There's a small, rocky beach right by the hotel, which gets a lot of negative reviews, but it's a convenient place to take a swim and never crowded. The included breakfast was very good.

great location and good value for money

we liked the location, service was amazing, breakfast was also very good. that view from our room was breathtaking. PS: the photos from booking don’t make justice to the hotel. We were surprised on a very good way about the hotel and it's breakfast.

they don’t have stairs and the bedroom wasn’t very clean, we found a few insects inside.

Exceptional

The location is wonderful, right in front of the sea and walking distance to the old city. We left the window open and feel asleep listing in the ocean just in front of us. Very help staff and clean comfortable rooms. The bed was especially comfortable. The hotel also has a lot of character, very well taken care of and uplifting place. Wonderful.

Everything was really great.
