Great for shorter stays, next time I will book a double room.

Fantastic “old” place with a very nice atmosphere. Loved the gardens in the front and back, and the placement near the canal and Grand canal. The breakfast was amazing 😍.

Single room was on the top top of the hotel and overlooking the roof 😢.

Wunderbarer Ort, bezaubernder Garten, tolles Personal, herrliches Frühstück. Wir hatten das Zimmer direkt unter dem Dach mit Blick auf den Kanal. Besser geht's nicht!

Perfektes Hotel für Menschen, die in Venedig zwar zentral aber dennoch nicht inmitten des Trubels sein wollen

Das Hotel ist wirklich ein Traum. Sehr zentral direkt an der Accademia Brücke gelegen, kann man von hier alle gut erreichen. Vor allem die Nähe zu Zattere war einfach wunderbar. Das Frühstück wird mit viel Liebe angerichtet und serviert, im Aufenthaltsraum flackert der Kamin und alles in allem ist das Hotel wirklich ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen.

We had a wonderful time and would recommend to everyone with caution that there are many stairs.

Wonderful breakfast buffet. Private gardens and excellent location.

Amazing!

I absolutely loved staying here. I had an incredible view of the canal, the breakfast buffet was amazing, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I return.

Ideal location - main attractions within walking distance. Room very comfortable and clean. Slept very well. Bathroom clean with excellent shower. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice.

Charmingly Venetian

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Venice life is a 17th-century palazzo (a hop skip and jump away from Gallerie dell'Accademia & two vaporetto stops - Accademia or Ca'Rezzonico), where all your emotional needs are met here. The staff are lovely with an air of genial surprise as if we'd wandered in by accident with wheely suitcases hoping for respite and a pillow to lay our heads on. There's a wee bar and soft furnishings to flop into by the fire after dinner in a local restaurant such as Osteria Enoteca Ai Artisti providing you like fresh raw shellfish, fresh tortellini, and the lightest and fluffiest tiramisu. The breakfast scene in the hotel is bathed in sleepy silence, pillow lines on the faces of guests still visible. A fresh croissant, a square or two of local cheese and jam, a bowl of cut up fruit. You know it well. Ask one of the friendly staff to make you coffee in the kitchen as best to avoid the coffee machine in the breakfast room as it's... well.... not very strong.

Friendly, attractive, charming stay in Dorsodure

Location is excellent: quiet and yet very easy to reach all points of interest. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and professional staff. When I asked for an additional pillow, I got it immediately.

Great hotel in a wonderful location.

Loved our room which was on the first floor and has access to the lovely garden area. Location was excellent. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was spacious and well done. Breakfast was wonderful.

Fantastic base for an extended stay in Venice

Location near main attractions (Accademia, SM delle Salute, Peggy Guggenheim gallery) while still in quiet area away from crowds, near vaporetto/ferry stops, great buffet breakfast and attentive service from both the reception and restaurant teams. Clean and comfortable rooms, a lot of rooms including single ones with canal views.

Would have liked options for room service for dinner even with a very limited menu. After long days exploring and when the weather isn't great you don't always feel like going out and would like to enjoy the lovely atmosphere downstairs a bit more. Seats near the open fire area lovely but there are too few of them/a bit cramped.

Stylish accommodation near the Grand Canal

Lovely guest house in a hotel style near the Grand Canal. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, historic interior, beautiful garden and outdoor seating, stylish and efficient rooms, the fireplace in the lobby with comfortable seating, and surroundings. Villa Maravege is located at the end of a dead-end street, isolated from the main tourist route.

Overall, overpriced for average accommodations. The staff would not permit us to stay 30 minutes extra in our room while waiting for a water taxi, even though the property was nearly empty
