Comfortable simple option

I wanted to use the gym and pool but had to choose between that and dinner as both the restaurant and the health sweet close early

Will return as we enjoyed our stay

It was close to city nice hotel a bit dated with lovely heated pool the staff were all friendly rang hotel before stay for some requirements which they provided and more ,we stayed in a lovely front facing room

The only thing negative is the noise from room above squeaking floor boards

Nice break away

Central position, staff lovely, gorgeous bathroom, walk in shower,

Car park 2 streets away up a hill, as I'm disabled, had to pay for parking on the harbour in front of hotel

Comfortable bed. Great location. Reception staff friendly.

Food in the bar wasn't great. Cold when came out and chips were soggy. Both food and drink were extremely over priced. Won't be recommending to dine here. Rooms were very small with nothing but a (dirty) wall as a view from the window.

The location was great. Close to city centre and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

We stayed here before in 2021 and couldnt say enough good things about it so we booked to stay again for just one night and it was definitely the worst experience we have had in a hotel. Without a doubt this hotel has gone downhill since our stay in 2021 and we are very disappointed and can assure we won't be booking here again. The food was very disappointing. Ordered the double trouble burger and the burger itself was like rubber, no salad on the side or on the burger itself. The chips were very greasy also. I've had better in McDonald's. The hotel and restaurant was very old fashioned and dull and the restaurant wasn't very clean as it was very hard to find a table that wasn't dirty. The hotel room had a smell of dampness and mould and the curtains had holes in the back of them. The room was also very worn out and could definitely do with a make over. I asked for a pina colada and the bar man didn't even know what glass to put it in and had to ask another member of staff. He hadn't a clue how to make the cocktail either so just threw something together and it was by far the worst cocktail I've ever had and tasted like sour milk. The only good thing I can say about our stay this time around is the location. Unfortunately we will not be recommending or staying here again.

Really enjoyable

Staff very nice, food in the bar was lovely ate both bites in the bar.

The bed wasn’t great but I’m hard to please when it comes to bed my mam didn’t complain about her bed

Loved the spa, had a beautiful treatment with meena, never been so relaxed. Loved the hotel bar games room for kids and food was nice.

Breakfast wasn't great but did the job.

I didn't like that there were no net curtains on the windows, and I couldn't use amazon stick on the TV as the TV was so tight against the wall

I loved everything about this property the location was perfect. the shower facilities were great lovely fluffy towels the Wi-Fi good the bed was AMAZING so comfy. great little bar and restaurant on ground floor. brilliant musician on the night we were there also.

minor point we had to walk with our cases from car park as this was in a different street.

Happy and comfortable stay, near to everything on foot.

Staff were kind and were really interested in helping me to enjoy my stay. Location was really near the bus station so I didn't have far to walk and everything was close by.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel.

it was handed to other hotel

In the room there was a big pillar at the end of the bed .There was dust on the double bed where the attic hatch was opening a bit, there was no sockets at the bed side lockers .There was no hock on the back of the bath room door the shower cream would come out of the bottle.Where the coffee tray was there was no socket to plug the kettle . It was a bad place where it was. The chain was broken on the door you can hear the noise of the traffic.

Family stay in Treacys

We had a lovely room , lots of room for the 3 of us we had spare bunk beds in the room too. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was really good and all self service. The pool and jacuzzi was really nice. Dinner in the bar was excellent 👌 Tea n coffee facilities. Shower was lovely.

The room and hotel could do with being updated. The lead for the iron was damaged and the ironing board wouldn't stay up.

Nice size room, staff very pleasant & Helpful

Very Noisy in Hotel at night, TV next door very loud, also people in corridor very loud for an extended length of time. A person kept bang their door repeatedly to try & close it.

The hotel is pleasant and centrally located for exploring the city.

The room I was in was overlooking the river but the price to pay is the constant noise from traffic. Because of the position of the premises just at the bridge, traffic is stopping at the traffic lights with large trucks included, very very noisy constantly. The bed wasn't very comfortable, possibly a mattress change required. Parking is a bit awkward with a walk from the Aldi carpark involved.
