Breakfast was awesome. Our 30 year anniversary celebration and we were superbly impressed by the treats and gifts we were given.
Service on the Terrace at lunch.

Its amazing as it should be as an institution but is it the best hotel I stayed at in South Africa? Not sure… The sea views and service is spectacular and makes up for the bit of dated interior.
Needs a bit of an investment to make it spectaculor again. Its slightly like visiting your wealthy granny with old money.

Staff very helpful and friendly
Some miscommunication with dinner bookings. Hotel passages requires upgrade with rain leaking through. Damp smell in room.

Beautiful property with beautiful views. The shuttle drivers were incredibly sweet and kind and hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.
The quality of the lunch I ordered in the ocean terrace restaurant was below what I expected.
My friend had organised and paid for a bottle of wine to be in our room when we arrived - it wasn’t. It was put in there later on in the afternoon. And then when we went to pay our bill the bottle of wine was on our bill (she had already paid for it).
