For the second year in a row, we are delighted to be here, and once again, we can confidently say that everything is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Apartment hotel Ambra has an excellent location within the locality, apartments are very nicely and stylishly furnished. We didn´t have any problems with accomodation, the nice lady at the reception was very accommodating and very helpful even in a stressful situation (I was robbed of my documents and mobile phone due to my own inattention on the very first day at the beach ). The apartment was cleaned daily (except the weekend), towels were changed - we were very satisfied with the cleanliness. I would definitely come back here, I recommend it.

It was definitely good value for money, nice and stylish apartment, indeed very close to the beach and helpful host.
During our stay we had a robbery, in particular we got awaken, when the thief was in our room. We were lucky, nothing was stolen, but of course we were incredibly scared. Why did it happen? Because we left the window in the bathroom open. And notwithstanding the switched on light outside and hanging cameras (only later we learnt that they were actually switched off), the thief entered our room (and seems, he spent there some time - needed to dissolve the key from the entrance card, to look for money in pockets of shorts, which we found outside afterwards).
The police doesn't care about such incidents, they didn't come (they didn't speak English or German, only Italian). Our host was helpful, came immediately to us (as we were locked in our room without light, as the keys were taken by the thief, later were found outside), although it was 3 am.
I write this not to blame the apartment, just to warn: don't leave windows open!

Good location, almost directly on the beach, very clean and spacious.
For the ground floor rooms the WIFI was not working at all.

Excellent location 30 meters from the beach edge. Nice kitchenette with cooking and eating accessories. Air-conditioned rooms and possibility of closing the shutters.
There could be a dish-washer. We did not get chips for beach access (i.e. for WC or showers on the beach), only a beach pass. However, it was not very big problem and I am sure that we could have that arranged if we called the manager.

It was simple and we liked how the rooms are inspire by diffrent locations. There was a little kitchen that was very useful for us, especially having a toddler, we could heat up something for his needs or simply just enjoy a meal between us. The staff was very nice and friendly, handing out some info for our stay.
There were sigarette buds in the flower pots but, I would say that's more of lack of respect of people who were there beforehand.
