About this house rental
Stoats Old River Way is a lovely, family friendly holiday cottage in the village of Winchelsea Beach, East Sussex. The accommodation is all on one level and the property benefits from a large front garden and a completely enclosed, private rear garden and ample parking on the gravel drive. All rooms run off a central hallway. The lounge diner has views over the front garden and is bright and airy, with the addition of ceiling fans for those warm summer evenings. Two distinct areas, a large dining table and chairs as you enter the room, close to the kitchen and a comfy, cosy seating area in the rest of the room. Lots of seating to suit all the family and a good selection of books and DVD’s for the days when you just want to stay indoors. A Wii console is provided but please bring your own game’s, there are various board games to keep everyone amused whatever your age. A modern family kitchen, equipped with all your holiday needs, dishwasher, two fridges and one freezer, gas hob and electric oven and more and a door leading to the garden.
There are four bedrooms, two twin rooms, one at the front and one at the rear of the property. One bunk bed room, with a double bunk below and single above and a small TV. The master bedroom with a super-king, large TV and its own ensuite bathroom with bath, WC & handbasin. All bedrooms are light and airy, have radio’s and have various storage facilities for your stay. There is an additional shower room, with a large shower enclosure, WC & hand basin. The utility room is accessed from the garden and here you will find the washing machine and room to store bicycles if you should so wish.
The enclosed. private rear garden has a permanent BBQ area under a pergola, a raised terrace with dining table and chairs and a lawned area, where your dog can laze or children can play. The large front garden has a small children’s play house and enough space for a badminton game or a kick around with a football. The drive has room for at least four cars.
We except two well behaved dog but do occasional make exceptions, so please ask if you wish to bring more than one.
The property is mobility friendly if you are travelling with someone who has mobility issues.
On arrival you will find a Welcome pack with local produce, so that you can sit and relax and enjoy the goodies.
