It was a clean room, as comfortable as it could be. Excellent breakfast that kept coming.
All good

It is a nice location, clean and quiet. The hosts have been carefull with the guests and a bunch of cats and a little turtle who are living near.
The air conditioning are flowing through for your head when you are sleep. The view was not beautiful from my room ( partial a garage).

This hotel is very well located in Meteora. City center, restaurants, shops are accessible by foot . If you want to hike Meteora you can start directly from the hotel. Room do have everything you need and even if you do not have a 'view' the balcony is a nice place to relax ( chairs and table are there). The host are really nice and helpfull. They will give you all the information you need and some tips as well. Breakfast is plentiful. All in all, a nice quiet place to stay! Free parking available at hotel.

Breakfast was outstanding! No one can eat all that stuff! We were more than satisfied! To get to the monasteries the way is short and it is also easy to find some restaurants nearby. Nice corner with books and magazines. Small but fine bar for the evenings.
Our room was kind of dark, even during the day it is necessary to switch on lights, as the door to the balkony was the only window at the end of a floor. As we spent our days outside this was for us a minor issue.

A cozy and very clean room with a great view of Meteora. The hotel is just a few steps away from the centre of Kalampaka. The hosts were really kind and welcomed us warmly. The breakfast was rich and very tasteful.
The bathroom was a little bit tight, but nothing to make us feel uncomfortable.

Great breakfast. Lots of variety of food.
The shower did not have a shower curtain, so the bathroom floor got wet easily.

Love the man who received us at the hotel. He was lovely and smiled a lot. Seems very kind and caring. He also served us breakfast which was amazing.
I hate to write a negative review but felt uncomfortable with the woman working at the hotel. We wanted to stay an extra night before before I could finish my sentence she said no straight away with no explanation. She may have been a little bit racist and made me feel a little uncomfortable.

the location was great
The owners are terrible. There wasn’t a remote to the AC unit in the room, so when we asked we were met with excuses, even though it’s stated that there was AC in each room. We eventually received the remote and the AC only worked for a few hours. When we asked the next day the owner was very rude, combative and belittling. When we stated we liked to sleep in a cool room (which was none of his business anyways) he directed his wife to take the blankets out of our room! Leaving just a top sheet for 2 adults. I’ve never experienced anything like this in all my travels. The owner even hung up on the booking.com representative, who was trying to help us. On top of that we paid extra for the deluxe bedroom, it was large but the bed was very hard and there was no water pressure in the shower with a trickle of barely hot water. NOT RECOMMENDED!

The host, Demetrius is a lovely laid back man who made us feel very welcome. There was a bit of confusion regarding our arrival and departure days which was amusing rather than annoying. The hotel has a lovely old world feel about it, and is situated at the base of an awesome rock face. We had a nice room (albeit a bit short of natural light) with a decent ensuite and balcony, at the front of the hotel .Breakfast was great, an unusual array of various ingredients were brought to the table in minute intervals by Demetrius until there was no space left on the table. When it was time for us to leave, we asked Demetrius to book us a taxi to take us to the railway station and he would have none of it and gave us a lift to the station even though it was just after breakfast time when he would be quite busy clearing up. What a lovely bloke!
The only potential negative as far as we could say is that the short section of road (about 50 metres give or take) leading to the hotel is quite steep, which could be a bit of a problem for older guests suffering from mobility problems. We are no spring chickens, so needed to take the hill slowly after eating our evening meal in the pleasant restaurant at the bottom of the hill. This of course is no reflection on the hotel itself.

We were looking for a hotel with a unique character and good breakfast, and this was exactly that.
Incredible location - right at the base of the cliffs, but also close to restaurants since Kalampaka isn't that big.
Dimitris let us check in a few hours early and upgraded us from a balcony without a view to a mountain-facing balcony. He gave us very detailed advice about where to hike, including marking paths on a map and showing us where to turn using Google maps street view! We were also able to leave our luggage there for several hours after we checked out.
Breakfast is not from a menu or buffet - you just sit down and they bring out a huge spread - bread, salad, fruit, eggs, olives, sandwiches, tea/coffee.
Not a bad thing per se, but be aware that the hotel is at the top of a not large but VERY steep hill.
The bed was a bit too big for the room and collided with the balcony doors (they could still be opened and closed, but it was a squeeze).

Good diversified breakfast and amazing, friendly and helpful host. Nice location right aside Meteora. The host gave us many advice on how and what to visit. He was able to acomodate us with a better room for an upcharge (25 euro ). I recommend the hotel for this price range.
Thin wall, and closet-like economy room. Do not chose the economy option. Air conditionner might need a cleaning.
