I liked the attentive and friendly service of the staff - nothing was a problem for them. The facilities were clean, comfortable and presented very good value for money.

No extras, no pool, no views, expensive for what it was

Room with the kitchenette was very spacious, clean and perfect for what we needed

I liked the staff as they were warm, friendly and very informative not only on the grounds (the property) but also about the area and sights to visit.
Some of the guests forgot that they weren't the only guests staying there.

The American receptionist with dark hair was extremely helpful.

Nothing at all pull out couch bed was broken shower was cold as room was for up to six people with one set of bunks a double bed and the couch bed . Always stay at top ten holiday camps and find this one not great at all so will never go there to stay again.
This is a pet friendly top ten but they do not state a pet is not allowed in their units the only reason we were allowed to have the puppy with us was the fact we turned up at the camp from Christchurch to stay one night . But was told any damage done by the puppy i would be charged for. Maybe they need to state pets only allowed in campervans . Thus the puppy was either in its playpen or crate while in the unit and i would never have taken it to the camp as i feel this was very unfair on a young puppy

Central location.
I used Booking Com to book a kitchen cabin but ended up with a standard cabin for about the same price as a kitchen cabin. The standard cabin was comfortable though and quiet.

it had a private area, where we can sit in the shade to relax and enjoy a drink & a chat in private.
cluttered for a group of 4. small cooking area, no side bed tables to put our specs & personal belongings. no cupboards to store food. Had to use the sink bench a to pile all our food. may need to put up a food cupboard,

Great staff. Clean and quiet
No instant coffee, tea or anything in the room. Found this at other Top Ten camps as well. Small grumble but disappointing

I enjoyed how clean the facilities were.
last time I stayed, the kitchen was open all night. However, this time, the kitchen didn't open until 8:00AM. I explained that I was an early riser and preferred to have my morning coffee at around 5:00AM. After some consideration the manager yielded somewhat and offered to open the kitchen at 7:00AM. Thank you for that, but I felt humiliated by not being trusted with a preferred earlier start. The managers reason for 8:00AM opening was to deter food thieves. I understand, but I don't steal food, so why am I penalised? I was also denied a key to access the kitchen early.
