Everything about our stay was perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful, impeccably clean with amazing views. We took the Discovery Boat Tour with Paco and Rainier which took us to an island where we got to enjoy the crystal clear waters and see so many dolphins. The prices were reasonable for the amenities we received. I only wish we had more time to spend there.

El personal. Gracias a Carlos por tan linda atención. Especialmente con mi hija.
Todos excepcionalmente amables.
Se fijan en los detalles.

Snorkelling on a dead reef is disappointing. Should not advertise as a feature. Pool was nice but needed repair.

I have travelled to many places in the World over many years but Bocas del Mar is by far the best Hotel I have ever stayed in.

Excellent, romantic hideaway. Having lived in Panama for the last seven years, I have to say that we had the best food in all of Panama. Fabulous restaurant, view, ambience. Couldn't ask for more. Beautiful pools (2) and staff that seem to really like their jobs and give fabulous service. Nothing at all to complain about.
Nothing.

everything here is beautiful. This is the perfect place to relax and get away.If you want adventure there is every activity imaginable to do from fishing, horseback riding, white water rafting, indigenous village visits, sunset cruises, and beautiful beaches to explore. You could stay here a month and not get bored.
The rooms need accessible power outlets. There is one by each bed but they are behind the headboard and impossible to get too. There was thankfully one high up by the air conditioner, but difficult to reach it.

The staff was amazing. Everybody was super friendly and very accommodating.
The only thing that wasn’t quite satisfactory to the folks I was with was the breakfast. This is more a culture difference than anything else.

Great place to relax. Far away from mass tourism. Wonderful hotel with nice staff. Great food, interesting boat trips to the National Park. Beaches, dolphins. And so lovely owners. Thanks for this outstanding experience. Without any doubt one of the best hotels we stayed in our life.

location was stunning, a very relaxing place to stay and unwind. We loved the views and the room was great especially the view across the garden and sea views.
Although the room was great, the mattress topper was far too soft for us. Food at the restaurant was nice for dinner, but not great for breakfast.

The hotel was in beautiful surroundings with lots of wildlife. The food was good. The staff were friendly. The lady in reception was extremely helpful. There was lots of space so it was always possible to find a nice private space. The room was very clean.
The hotel aspired to a standard it couldn't quite provide. On the surface it looked very high end but there were some issues. For example: the safe kept failing due to a faulty battery connection (known to the the general manager), the tv would cut out every time the fridge came on and, although the quality of the food in the restaurant was good, the service was a bit hit and miss. There were few alternatives for dining as the hotel was very remote.
They were pushy on the tours. Within minutes of arriving at the hotel (late in the evening) we were being sold trips round the islands. Even while in conversation at dinner we were interrupted and asked about our plans. We opted to arrange our trip with an independent operator (Step by Step; very good) which were less than half the price for a longer trip..
I don't want to sound negative and we enjoyed our stay but there are a couple of areas that could be improved upon.

The pools were excellent and all the facilities and property are well maintained. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the staff was particularly pleasant.
We only wish the "hot" water was a little hotter so that we could thoroughly enjoy time in the beautiful soaker tub. The roads into Boca Chica were very challenging with the number of potholes and road construction.

This is a great peaceful place. If you come from Panama City to Boquete this is definitely a hotel to stop by! Very friendly staff and owner, great views from the super clean rooms to the ocean and islands. Beautiful area to walk around. Breakfast was okay but not superb compared to others in Panama. You can book an island tour with a private boat, we've seen whales and dolphins so don't miss it.

beautiful location with nice pools. staff is friendly and helpful. hotel management is always available and they follow up on things that need attention.
they were able of provide transportation despite road blocks during fuel and cost of living crisis.
we loved the whale and dolphin watch tour.
restaurant is great, cook can prepare custom meals for the kids that are also healthy
we loved the view from our room onto the lush garden
service during breakfast was slow and unorganized sometimes (depending on who was on shift), but hotel management managed that very well after we mentioned that to them. that’s all!

The pool was nice. The room was spacious. The boat guide was very kind. Restaurant staff attentive.
We travel a lot, we work in hotels. This was by far the worst value for money I can remember in 10+years. $288 a night after tax and the $15/night we had to pay for a pack n play. The kitchen appeared to be remodeled but they left everything else. The furniture needs replacing. The doors (interior) looked like they were collected from a second hand shop and they couldn't even bother to paint. There are gaps on both the patio and front door. We had a cold shower the first day. The walls are yellowing and at the very least, the grout needs a deep scrub but at that price, it should all be replaced. Bathroom vanity drawers about fell out. If we paid $125 night, I'd say it was a fair price but almost $300 in off season no less, is robbery. It is very remote which is fine if that's what you are looking for but there are not enough menu options for someone to eat at the same place three meals a day for more than two or three days tops. We arrived with little notice but even still, at 6pm, it shouldn't take 45 minutes to check in. We could have had a better view but there were palm trees covering part of the view and then a utility pole (maybe put the trees in front of the pole, not the view). We are in Panama for a month and we wasted a ton of money on this place. Very disappointing.

The house was perfect , breathtaking views,
