The staff was very kind and helpful. Special mention to guest service manager Ivy who helped us a lot during our stay
8.0 / 10.0
Perfect location right in the middle of the city, bed was super comfy and room was what you would expect, very good.
Supplied coffee wasn't great, I don't expect a barista but a good old jar of Nescafe Blend 43 would have been great. And maybe a complimentary bottle of wine ;)

Buffet breakfast was amazing- great selection and included in room rate! Room was tidy, staff were helpful and polite. I was concerned prior due to some bad reviews, but experienced none of those issues so figure its just people nit-picking.
Wasn't clear to me until arrival that the pool isn't actually on site - its the building next door, little annoying and feel like this needs to be more clearly stated - that they dont have a pool, they give you access to one at the Westin. Although we didn't mind, it was worth the walk. The pool is absolutely beautiful - pool bar only opens fri to sun 12-5pm, but great experience.

The buffet breakfast
Even though we booked 3 rooms, we were put on seperate floors which was a hassle as your room card only does your floor, so we were having to meet up on the 1st floor just to get to the other rooms. And instead of paying for 3 rooms the rooms were put through separately, and had to pay the rooms as a deposit, and the payment would be released after we check out, but as we added stuff during the stay they had to take more money. It’s a very confusing process. And having a physical credit card to check in was a hassle. Not everyone carries the cards anymore. And we had a delay in one of the rooms which we think they rushed as there was blood left in the toilet.

Reasonable location. Fairly new but all the black decor in hallways did my head in.
Long wait at small reception to get service or checkin

The staff were nice
The price! Really disappointed, sorry. Having never stayed at a Sheraton, I thought it was a premier brand. I booked here as I wanted to have a series of breakfast meetings with clients. The 'Eatery' was certainly not the place to sit with a client! At $299 / night I would have expected far better. This is on a par with the IBIS I stayed at last week in Perth at only $200 / night. Don't get me going about the dynamic daily pricing. Morals and ethics out the window on that one.
The shower! It trickles water. It either has water restriction washers or just low pressure (27th Floor) . Seriously you need to get up 5 mins early to allow for a long shower. I had to call housekeeping one day as my room wasn't cleaned. Another day the cups weren't cleaned and bin not emptied.
It all comes down to price. If you're going to leverage the brand and over charge, at least get the service right.
Facilities? Nada. They are all next door. It has a breakfast room and that's it. No restaurant, no bar. The lobby is tiny and always crowded. Calling yourself a four star Hotel is a joke. I certainly won't be staying at a Sheraton again.
And Yes I did complain at the time. Just got a lame reply (see messages)
I don't normally complain, look at my other reviews, mostly 8,9,10

Block out blinds, comfy beds. The staff were great very friendly. The breakfast we have was great.
The room was quite dusty, need an air filter. Also I didn’t like the system they use for the do not disturb/clean room system, you have to open the door to see which on you’re pressing. Just put some labels on the switches.
