Everything within 5 minutes walk, clean and comfortable

Spacious room, adequate cooking facilities, comfy bed, good shower, very clean. Great view from the veranda - so long as you as stood up - sit down and the railing block the view. Parking right in front of the apartment, steep, short hill to access the parking lot, then a blind turn left in to the lot if you have a low car - SUV and you are fine.

Charming historic house

Beautifully refurbished historic house curated with an artist’s eye for detail. Upper floor balcony with wide view across the harbour, perfect for coffee in the morning sun. Wonderful warm welcome from Erika.

A lovely stay With beautiful views right in the middle of Mangōnui.

Loved the location and the cleanliness of the property. Thankyou to the owner for contacting us to say that we had left our car boot open,

The only negatives were that we would have liked more towels than just the two provided. Also no tissues. A guest laundry was also not on site.

Beautiful place last time I was in Mangōnui was 5 years ago.

We stayed for one night Saturday 22nd July 2023 The view from our room Very nice room & clean & modern & the bed very comfortable. Only a video of our room & Mangōnui Fish Shop yummy. & Thai restaurant yummy 😋

The view is exceptional from the rooms that we had. Located next to a Thai restaurant and just above Jesse’s cafe and bar. Perfect. Thank you Mangonui for a great quick get away for us.

Great location, awesome friendly staff she even drove us to and from the local winery. Very friendly locals, can highly recommend the mangonui fish shop for oysters and scallops !

Our 3 day stay at Mangonui Waterfront Apartments was awesome, and everything was so close to visit.

We were very impressed with the beautiful view from our upstairs apartment, especially the sunrise each morning. There was everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is very spacious with a good sized bathroom, a very useful kitchen, and an amazing deck on the waterfront side that ran the length of the apartment. Also, we had the use of a small barbecue on the back deck.

Very accomodating hosts but the apartment was a little clunky

The owners of the apartments were lovely and obliging

Unless you get an upstairs apartment you dont have waterfront views. There is no A/C which is not a drama but theres no method of circulation of a downstairs apartment without a security risk

Absolutely nothing, rude staff, room was dirty and noisy. Worst accommodation i have ever stayed in.

Great place but prepare for noisy neighbours

Good location close to central shops, lovely decor, views and facilities.

There is a restaurant downstairs which plays music until about 10pm every night so it was difficult to relax in the evenings with the noise.

We had the most wonderful stay at the waterfront apartments! The staff were very kind and upgraded us to the waterfront view as we were on our honeymoon. It was very kind and we really appreciated it! The apartment was beautifully and tastefully decorated and we had everything we needed. The balcony at the front was a beautiful view and we were able to get some supplies at the local store and then enjoy some wine and cheese on the balcony and look out to sea and enjoy the breeze!!

Fabulous holiday apartment!

The apartment was was fantastic, very clean and comfortable and a great view of the bay. Ideal location for seeing the best beaches of the Northland. Would definitely recommend if your looking for somewhere to stay in this area.
