Pleasant, friendly and in nice area.

The staff were really helpful after we'd had a nightmare getting to them. Rooms were comfortable and functional. Breakfast was nice and, again, the morning staff were friendly and helpful. Mere metres from town centre and has free parking.

Tv only picked up around 5 odd channels (weather was bad so might be that - perhaps time to change to smart tv/wifi?). Kettle in room had dirty filter frame in it (no actual filter though).

Nice hotel with fab food

Lovely staff, really nice food, great location. Beautiful sunset from our upstairs room!

Mattress a bit worn and not supportive enough. But probably ok for a younger person.

Hotel was where we wanted to be, efficient and clean,,staff were very helpful assisting us

Reception guy was very helpful, sorted out room problem immediately...breakfast was excellent and we ate in the restaurant one evening, food was very good.

Quite difficult to enter hotel, I have slight mobility issue and no handles etc. to reach into hotel...

Good spot for a short break

Central location. Lots of bars & restaurants within easy level walking distance. Room was clean comfortable & spacious with a sofa. Lovely breakfast.

I wanted to spoil myself on my 70th birthday, £243 for two nights I deserved much more.

nice spa bath, comfy bed, breakfast and location.

Non existent wifi throughout my stay. bbc on sunday afternoon, awful interference so unwatchable, this also applied to the radio stations. room view spoiled by an aerial cable, odd areas hadn't been dusted.

The room was very small. The pillows were terrible! Very poor ventilation; the small windows could not circulate enough fresh air in the room and the blinds covered that opening!

Overnighter in the Lakes

Really lovely stay, great location, friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Would stay again.

Nothing to dislike, just found the bed a bit hard for our taste and husband is allergic to feathers but they were only in one pillow each, not the whole bedding set, so we set them aside easily. Also felt the room was really warm even though the rad wasn’t on, which depending on your temperature preference, could be either a positive or a negative.

Great location and good price

The staff were friendly and welcoming and the location was brilliant. My room was a single at the top so I had a view to the mountains between other buildings. The room and ensuite were a good size and I was comfortable. The breakfast options were very good and the cooked option was really tasty.

Very good

Very close to the centre of Keswick and also a short drive to the nearby fells. The room was good with a comfortable double bed, the only downside was that the room didn't have a view. Breakfast was excellent.

the location and the choice available at breakfast

My room was small and extremely cold despite me turning the radiator on full. The mattress wasn’t very comfortable. I ran out of tea bags very quickly and went down to reception where I waited 20 minutes and pressed the buzzer 3 times and nobody appeared so I went back to my room with no tea bags.
