Add a bit of budget and stay somewhere else

Good selection at the breakfast buffet.

A no go. We got an upgrade from a superior to a deluxe room and wondered if it was a downgrade. The photo looks much better than the room is. Facilities are worn out and it does not feel clean (some spots might not disappear any more even after a deep cleaning). No idea when the windows have been cleaned the last time outside. If you open the tap of the washbasin, it touches the mirror. A plastic protection there in wood look is already falling off. Avoid to look at the sealed a d grouted parts of the shower. No towels at the pool and no staff there. Scratched toilet bowl seat and clogged toilet there. Liquid soap was empty. Staff at the reception did not know opening times of the few sights, it just consults Google maps. Breakfast staff does not speak English. The hotel seems to target mainly Indonesian customers. The egg station is outside right in front of an exhaust. The breakfast selection was good, but expect jams and juices that taste chemical.

Exceptional

The security were professional. The staff and front line management were organised and allowed everything to work as clockwise. A home away from home as I pursued the Prajogo Story . https://youtube.com/@ps3theprajogostoryfindingm803 . Many wonderful staff to name them all but to me are like family. Novita and Mulayadi are great in their role as all the others were able to perform their duties with professionalism as well as tender loving care. They are passionate in their job and when their is the passion excellence is delivered. I hope to one day return and they can be like family. Special tanks to Samudarno, Agung, Stevina, Dina, Afrik, Galia and sorry if I can't write all your names. Hope to see you keep smiling in the job you love. Comfortable room with every facility. The facility is well made and many services are available. The hotel restaurant is really good and the staff very friendly. Excellent value for money!

Comfortable stay in Surabaya

The hotel rooms are pretty comfortable and thanks to the big windows you can enjoy the view over the city. The first day we had a problem with the AC properly and the staff promptly changed our room to another one with a functioning AC. The breakfast buffet is quite varied and the offer comprises local dishes. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and the dishes were very tasty.

Almost all except they gave us the room without changing the sleeves at first. We complained. They replaced. However this should not have happened.

Very kind and responsive staff

Strong damp smell in room and floor. Very worn sheets and bath towels. The condition of the bathroom and toilet is unpleasant. But very kind and responsive staff!

Very good hotel. Great breakfast selection and staff is super nice. We had an incredible view and it is a great choice for a weekend break.

Last stay was disappointed because we got room which below expectation.

We booked without breakfast. The hotel location is strategic, just across with Taman Bungkul where we usually get good Rawon. Friendly staff and quick check in.

The bathroom lay out I think is not right. It's difficult to get in and out to or from shower area because the closet is sitting too close with shower door (too narrow). Especially when you get the room right at the end of corridor. It will be even more difficult if we stay with the old people. Difficult to connect to Wifi (bad signal).

Disgusting and traumatizing! Stay away from this hotel!

Nothing. It was traumatizing as I spotted blood stains on all towels, bed sheets and blanket. There are cockroaches as well.

BLOOD STAINS as big as my palm on most of the towels! I booked 3 rooms and we spotted cockroaches in every room. Pictures shown online were heavily edited! The rooms are old and smelly!

Decent but bad facilities

The building si quite good, I didn’t have lunch so I can’t say anything about it. The bed is comfortable, the staff is kind. It’s great to have a beer while you’re in the pool.

The pool is so cold, and most of it is covered so there’s no chance to sunbathe. The spa service is ridicolous, the therapists are under trained and the keep talking during the treatment.

They let us wait upon checking in for long time even though we arrived way past check in time (we arrive at 4pm or so), they said the rooms weren't ready. This is not nice

Layout of the room really bad especially for bathroom, how come hotel manage by aston put a toilet in front of shower door??yellow linen and towel,. Shabby parquet floor, unpleasant odor in the corridor.

the location is easy to reach, the staff is helpful, clean room, refill water because you can tap anytime without calling the staff, good value for money, you can try the massage also

i got room with connecting door, and the neighbour was too crowd i could heard their voices. if it possible for adding room silencer, it would be good the parking area is small, but that’s okay there is vallet service that can help for searching parking for your car.
