Amabilidad al llegar y durante toda la estancia. Limpieza impecable en toda la casa. Tranquilidad. No dudaría en repetir.
Nada que objetar.

This husband-and-wife-run accommodation just feels like home, with spacious living space and kitchen free to use.
They sent clear pre check-in instructions in advance and were responsive with messages, and gave detailed information of the sightseeing without prompt at check-in.
Cleanliness is spotless. Breakfast is basic but plentiful.
The bed is a bit too soft for me.

We stayed in the studio for 5 days at Easter. We liked that it was open-plan and had private access and faciliites. We really loved the garden area (and so did our dog). The breakfasts were good and the hostel felt like a home stay, really cosy and we had access to the entire kitchen and dining area. Our kid loved the bunk bed in the studio also. The location to town was brilliant - close to everything and all the major sites. The hostel is so comfortable, the staff are great, and it felt like we were visiting good friends. The atmosphere also made it easy to meet the other guests. Just a lovely place!
The plumbing was a bit odd - the sink in the studio kitchenette dripped onto the floor and the tap made water explode everywhere! Also, the shower fittings were falling off the shower wall. But, I guess we still just really like the hostel even with this.

Everything! The host was super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was great, full breakfast with 🥪 bread and dessert.
Workstation in the living room, cable TV, courtyard, backyard for outdoor sitout. Towel change, regular cleaning...etc
Nothing really, maybe the beds were too low and too many people in the room of 10 however it most times doesn't exceed 4-5 persons per time.

Breakfast was awesome and room was exactly as expected, the showers were amazing i have to add. I went there on an unfortunate circumstance but definitely a comfortable hostel.

The hostel felt more like a home away from home! The owners were very kind and helpful.
The room was clean and had everything I needed.
Additionally, the location was superb as was the breakfast!
Nothing to note besides the bathroom could be updated at some point in the future but it’s not a problem now!

Great breakfast, friendly hosts. Wonderful city.

I was lucky enough to get there during low season, so I was the only person in a room for 10 lol
It's a beautiful house! You can see that Johanna and the other hosts tried hard to make it feel like home.
The area is quite chill but just 5 min away you have the castle and 10 min away is the city centre.
It is not a hostel per se, it's more of a small guest house. But it's perfect to stay a couple of days, chill, rest, enjoy the small town vibes.
The breakfast is the usual stuff but it is included into the price. I loved the idea of squeezing my own juice in the morning :)
Good interner connection and cute living room area to work.
It was alright for me being alone, but some curtains would be great, if there were more people.
Also, the dorm room has tripple bunk beds, so might be a bit high, if you get the top one.

Really lovely hostel run by a friendly couple. Nice breakfast including fresh orange juice and spacious room. Very clean, comfy beds. Good location near the old town with free parking.

the staff were really nice, the hostel was clean, breakfast was lovely and fresh (you could even squeeze your orange juice, which I loved), in general a very friendly atmosphere. I got the single room which came with a shared bathroom
it was a bit noisy but not at nights. i wish they had private bathroom options even though it was okay in the end with the shared one as well

The atmosphere created by the owners is unique - you can feel like at home for small price. You can use the big kitchen (fully equipped, for real) to cook something or have a rest in the garden. There is a lot of things to choose for breakfast, when you choose this option. Don't hesitate to stay at GuimaraesLiving - Hostel & Adventure! :)

breakfast was good.
It was difficult to find. The entrance to the apartment is difficult if you have luggage

Good breakfast and nice living room if you're needing for a place to work.
Would be nice to have curtains on the dorm beds, as you have everything setup nicely for them already.

The room for one was spacious , with the loo and shower right next door. it’s quiet, with a lovely breakfast an. facilities for chilling out, or making something to eat or drink. Friendly staff.
Nothing really. if it were possible to place a sign leading to the property from either direction for walking that would be useful as I walked by it, and saw the sign later.

Our favorite place in Portugal. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room is big, has everything you might need. The common areas are also very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, both in quantity and quality. We had a very nice chat with the managers as well. The recommendations they provide about the city are great as well. Would love to come back one day. Obrigado por tudo Bruno e Joana.

Amazing location, great room, super clean, super friendly staff!
Parking was a little trickier as we came in on the same day as a medieval festival(!!) but found some on R Ferreira De Castro which is where most of the parking spaces are. would’ve been good to know this ahead of time but Apart from this everything was great!

The husband and wife who owned and operated the hostel were extremely nice and helpful. The room was larger than expected, as was the quality of the entire establishment. Wonderful breakfast was included as well.
