I was provided with anything I needed. Parking, hair dryer, kettle etc. Nice location and easy to find.

Very helpful staff who even packed a breakfast package for us as we had to leave early in the morning before the official breakfast hours.
Quite loud and not such a charming place to stay.

The house is located in a very nice area, the breakfast was good, especially the waffles! It was a quiet place and perfect for a night stay.
We were 4 people, but they only provided 3 towels for us. The towels were smelling really bad, they were smelling like bad food.

Breakfast was the best part of the stay. The room was a disgrace so small even a dog would have so little space.
The shower size was laughable a contortionist would struggle to enter, I certainly did at six foot two.
But this is typical of Icelandic tourist industry now screw the tourist for as much money as you can.
Booking in, Reception looked like a bomb site. Room size laughable, a dog kennel more like. Cost, you are having a laugh. Never, Never, again.

Nothing

Mountain is behind the room, private toilet
Small room, not flexible to room cancellation due to weather condition

The place is fine, check in went quickly
in our room was 2 regular bed and one bank bed
I think that bank bed is a disaster and it’s really unprofessional to offer sth like this
the bed was falling apart, there was a loose board and with every movement the whole bed was also moving

Friendly and helpful welcome. Comfortable shared areas for cooking, eating and lounge compensated for the small room that I reserved. Staff lent snow shovels to dig cars out of the snow in the morning!
A bit more choice at breakfast would have been nice.

location, staff was super helpful, they made everything possible for us evenif we were late for check in.
on ground floor wifi is not great

Good location with nice views around property. Comfortable beds and hot shower. Our room was next to a balcony at the front of the guesthouse, ideal for checking for northern lights at night which we got a glimpse of! Breakfast included was great; it was take-away prepared for each room due to no canteen at the time but we actually preferred it!
During our stay there was construction downstairs due to recent fire damages. This was underneath the floor with the guest rooms so we could hear it clearly from our room. As it continued late into the evening (8.30pm) we called reception and they promptly stopped any work, they also finished earlier in the day on our second night.
In general, walls are thin so you can hear any activity outside your room but apart from the construction noise we did not have any disturbances.

very warm and helpful staff and excellent breakfast and an excellent location to observe northern lights
there was no warm water in a shower and hostel manager was not answering to our request for discount

It was in a very good location. the breakfast was adequate considering the situation the hotel was in
The restaurant and promised jacuzzi had burned down but the price was still the same. they did try the best and made our breakfast in plastic bags and put them in the common room fridge. it’s basically a hostel.

Wonderful scenery of the location of the guesthouse made our stay more pleasant than expected.

The breakfast was okay, and the location was pretty good.
There were no bedsheets and soap in the bathroom. The bunk bed was also not comfortable.

Honestly, very little. The woman who checked us in was friendly enough, I guess. I've stayed in many hostels that were nicer than this. The location is OK.
Just about everything about this place is pretty bad, though I suppose it COULD be worse. It was so bad that I opted to spend as little time in the room as possible and didn't try the breakfast or the showers at all.
It's dirty, the room is incredibly small, and there are shared showers which I didn't expect when I specifically booked a "private bathroom". Walls are thin so you can hear all the other loud guests. Everything is cheap and falling apart; many things are broken or partially broken. There's no ventilation in the bathroom whatsoever. It basically felt like a very small dorm room that had been converted into a hostel. For the amount we paid for this place, we had been able to book massive, gorgeous entire apartments in other nearby parts of Iceland. Doesn't seem worth it in the slightest. I have no idea how they can justify the prices they charge for this: I felt gross the whole time I was there. This was the only bad stay we had in 9 bookings across the South Coast, and incidentally it was one of the most expensive too.

Not much. Need a whole lot of exterior and interior maintenance.
Road in was full of pot holes, yard between the dorms had years old garbage/ material strewn about, rooms were noisy as foot steps echoed throughout the building. Community shower was poorly lit, mud from outside got easily tracked in i.e lack of gravel and muddy pot holes.

very clean, the staff was great, and breakfast was very good
beds were somewhat uncomfortable
