The room was beautifully decorated, there was a sink in the room, also an air-con which was a life saver with the heat outside. The staff was extremely friendly, spoke English which is always appreciated with my level of Portuguese. The bathroom was outside but that's what I booked so no complaints. There is a nice well equipped kitchen, living room with games and a cute common balcony
The only thing I didn't like were the door locks that required doors to be slammed in order to close

Loved that our dog Stella was welcome! ❣️🙏 We enjoyed our suite - with balcony, bathroom, a clothesline outside one of our windows, the comfy bed… etc; warm welcome / sense of hospitality & responsiveness of host - all good! Appreciated the shared space - kitchen & washing machine - so nice to be able to use! The place is funky and it works well! ❣️Also, fabulous location! We liked that it was near (1/2 block away), but not on the very busy pedestrian walkway - full of commerce, restaurants, cafes, nighttime activities. Even 1/2 block off the busy street made a difference in terms of calm & quieter.
Oh my, the flights of stairs to climb!!! Got a lot of additional exercise - good for heart health! 😁

the hotel location is very good. just inside the old town. many restaurants around this hotel. easy to go where you want to go!!
room size little bit small.

Friendly staff and central.
Uncomfortable bed, cheap poor pillow and poor bathroom. Having a few plates on the wall doesn't help if the bed is cheap rubbish.

Great hosts, we like the two girls. They are nice & do their absolute best to make you feel at home. Gave us good tips as well.
Living room is a great place to get drunk before hitting the city. Excellent excellent.
Also really nice if you're biking!
As I have to say something.. there was some building going on, but that's just temporarily.
Also, the girls don't cook fresh eggs in the morning after you snip your fingers. Nor do they bring you bruschetta with salmon and olives... could have been a lifesaver when hungover.

Great location and super friendly staff. Room really spacious and clean. Lovely lounge area.
No microwave in the shared kitchen but there are loads of nice places to eat out so not likely to be something you need/want.

This place is so charming! I was in the Robinson Crusoe room, and I absolutely loved it! It is at the top in an attic-like space so only appropriate for a smaller to average sized person. Perfect for me! There was a sunlight that kept it feeling open. If I come to Braga again, this is where I’ll stay.

Catarina was amazing! She made my stay really special because she is so friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic and I was able to walk to most of the main attractions very easily. The room was charming and comfortable and it was no problem going to the private bathroom outside the room. Catarina helped me with my carry-on bag because stairs are difficult for me these days. I highly recommend staying here as the other rooms are lovely too, with each one having a special theme.

Host Catarina is a wonderful person. She makes you feel at home.
Exceptional location, 3 mn walk to the Cathedral, right in the heart of the city. Easy to find, 10-15 mn walk from the train station, 10 mn walk to the bus station.
Easy access to buses to Bom Jesus and Monateiro de Tibaes
Room was spotless clean, with beautiful antique furniture.
The terrace overlooks the streets, nice view on Braga rooftops. Tea/coffee amenities, common well equipped kitchen
Steep stairs, not for handicapped people, but this is a classic in Portuguese private lodgings.

The location is in the heart of Braga's old city, 10 minutes walk from bus and train station. The staff is nice, you can always contact them if you have any questions. Catarina is also a great person to talk with on different topics. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. It is quiet in the evenings, just great for a nice sleep after a long walking day. The shared terrace is nice to enjoy your morning breakfast and to see the sunsets.

Can't imagine a more convenient location in Braga to see all the sights in the historical zone. One of the nicest and friendliest guesthouse managers we've ever met, Catarina went out of her way to make sure to help us find great restaurants during a busy national holiday. Would highly recommend this guesthouse.

The location is awesome, super central and easy to reach.
The place feels safe, comfortable, and cozy just like visiting an old friend! Catarina and Joana were absolutely wonderful, and in particular I was taken great care of!
There is a common area featuring a kitchen with everything you need to make your own meals.
The rooms are decorated thoughtfully and with good taste.
Nothing really, it was all very good! I am not used to the timed shower handset, but I guess it helps saving water!

The place is very well located and the owner is just the best host you can ever ask for. This is my second time staying at Collector's Home in Braga and I am sure there will be next time. Thank you for making this another great stay, Eva.

Great location on a very pretty tree-lined pedestrian street, close to cafes, restaurants and tourist sites. Warm and welcoming receptionist, explaining all about the house and places to visit. Comfortable room and bed. Mine had a sink, chest of drawers and twin beds. No chair, wardrobe or desk but plenty of access to public dining area, seating area, kitchen and washing machine. Good value. My room had a private toilet and shower which was a short walk away from the room - this was as advertised and caused me no concern, probably also reflected in the price. Would certainly stay again

I absolutely enjoyed my two weeks stay in the Collector's. All the staff are welcoming and lovely. Hostel is nicely decorated with lots of interesting antiques. Place is ultra clean, fun and cozy to stay. Location is hardcore central. Breakfast is served with beauuuuutiful presentation. I love the balcony too, a great spot to chill after a long day. If you got some spare time during your stay, please do chat with the owner Filipe and the staff! They are charming and fun to talk with which will make your Braga trip more memorable! (Thanks to Filipe, Eva and another staff member I met who taught me the history of Fado but I forgot to ask his name :)
