Loved the property had all the facilities we needed apart from a sofa bed.
No sofa bed

Just the ease of everything, we were working on nights at cambridge university and everything was great.

Lovely little house, would definately stay again. Warm and good kitchen facilities and lounge area. Hosts sent alot of useful information before we arrived about how to get to cambridge .
Would have been good to have had extra bedding for the night, extra quilt or blankets.

The property is well located and good value for money. Communication with the property before the stay was good. Check in was very easy and there is parking available.
There was space for our travel crib, and a highchair was provided.
The property is sparsely furnished, with the minimum possible provisions. The lounge and kitchen are comfortable but basic. The stairs upstairs are steep. Once upstairs, the rooms have wardrobe space and several beds, however the beds were very uncomfortable. Each bed had a small duvet, smaller than the bed size. It seems a shame, as if the beds had been comfy I'm sure we would have felt much more positive about the overall stay.

Much bigger than i expected. The kitchen was lovely and new, bathroom was great. It was an enormous benefit to our friends mum who was using crutches at the time to be able to have the bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. The village of waterbeach is lovely and nice that within walking distance there were shops and pubs. About 20 minute drive into Cambridge but I noticed busses as well.
Unfortunately we found he beds really quite uncomfortable. They were ever so hard and we were only provided with one pillow each. The duvets were very thin which was perfect for the time of year but I couldn't imagine using that in the winter time.
The downstairs room had the neighbours bedroom above it and they were being noisy late into the night but hardly the fault of the owners.

Very happy with the apartment. Comfortable beds, good facilities, nice sized kitchen with everything we needed. Close to park and ride for Cambridge so excellent location too.
We don't have anything negative to say. It gave us everything we needed at a good value price.

It was hot but we couldnt leave the wondows open while sleeping because of the road noise

Location was great for my needs. Loved that it had a washer, but a dryer would have been nice. The fan did not work, no AC,but did open all windows and doors and a nice breeze came in. The kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils, pots/pans, dishes, laundry detergent, dish detergent, and paper towels. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious. It was nice that it included parking.
No complaints.

Comfy beds. Easy access
There were four cups for a house that sleeps seven. Not really enough seating in lounge for the number of people it sleeps.
The nails from the gripper rods on the stair carpet poke through so when going up or down stairs without shoes you are treading on nails.
Bathroom downstairs.
Wouldn’t cost much just to supply more cups and sort out the stair carpet

pantiles being a bungalow was good for young kids and the kitchen was functional. shops nearby was helpful. easy check in.
ideally would have had a pint of milk,
bread and butter in fridge for arrival as travelling with kids is tricky to just pop out.

Really nice apartment in a quiet area. About 10 mins walk from the train station. Very clean and had all we needed. We would stay longer if we had a chance.
All was really good just bathroom walls need a bit of attention as the paint is flaking.

Further from Cambridge than I expected. Glad it was not a hot day as appropriate wàs very warm

It was easy to find, the parking was great, the apartment was secure, quiet and the perfect size for what we needed for the weekend. The rooms got very hot but that was offset by the fans that were provided.
Some of the fixtures felt quite fragile and in need of an update - the towel rail in the bathroom is barely hanging on, the tap in the kitchen shifts when you turn it on and the shower was leaking at the bottom. The stairs are extremely steep and narrow, and you can feel the carpet gripper spikes coming through on some steps. A few small improvements would make a big difference, because it really is a good spot that could be wonderful.

location
there was no hot water after 1 person had a shower on the first day, then none for the rest of the stay. shower leaked. no heating was cold in the property the whole stay. carpet on the stairs had the gripper under sticking through very painful when stood on it. lack of extra pillows and duvets. extention cables running everywhere. extremely dangerous with young kids staying with us. needs lots of modernization. very over priced

one bathroom is not enough for 6 people
the heater was too good making the place unpleasantly warm
no enough pillows in bed rooms the exist were too flat …
checking in is too late at 16:00
checking out was too early at 10:00

It was modern and had everything one would need; like tea, coffee, spices, cutlery and tableware, even though we never used them. Beds were comfy and sofabed was also comfy. Towels were supplied. Would choose to stay here again if visiting the area in the future.
Host sent details of check-in and check-out with a detailed map and photos of how to find the property we had been allocated. Prompt replies.
As someone who is scared of bugs, I didnt appreciate the 5 spiders in the bathroom.

Really lovely little house in the exact location I needed. Perfect for the weekend. Very cosy.
The floorboards upstairs make a really loud noise as if you’re going to fall through!
