It was a peaceful location and the cottage, looking out onto the paddock, suited us well. Comfortable beds and a good kitchen
The only thing that I would recommend is a few more things in the kitchen like tongs, servers etc

Very nice staff very welcoming and the basic accommodation is perfect for two people
It was very cold at night

Nice little cottages, not to close together and set nicely amongst the trees

Eco friendly unit with modern amenities. Very clean, warm & great to have air con. Loved everything about the property.
Nothing.

The place was easy to find, close to everything, clean and tidy, great value. Would stay there again.
Everything was great only thing i would suggest is a fan or air conditioning in the bunk bed room.

The location.
I didn’t get any of the rooms that were advertised, false advertising. There was also mould in the shower, the bed was very uncomfortable and there were ants everywhere.

Unfortunately because it was so cold our towels didn't dry at all so each day we had to use cold wet towels after showers. Also the wall heater wasn't able to be turned up at all, so it was very cold. And there is zero lighting around the property so at night time it was difficult trying to drive in and around the room

It’s quite spacious and there is an opportunity to upgrade, however the price should be lowered until then
We didn’t like the towels which might still be new and not broken in yet, so they don’t absorb. You should provide an ashtray as there was a smoke butt on the ground outside when we arrived.

The signage for HN Holiday Park is obscured by a sign for the restaurant / pub located behind the site, making it very easy to miss while travelling at 70 km/hr, and dangerous turning into a cycle lane. The signage is very poorly designed. We didn't know if we had gone down the correct driveway or not as it appears to be a private residence initially. We found out that we had to check in back in Hastings at the Top 10 holiday park - but this wasn't clear in the post booking communication we received - particularly given that this type of arrangement is unusual - on arrival and not being able to figure out where to check at reception initially, we rang the phone number given, but it went to answer phone even though it was within the reception check in time (although they did ring us back a little later, after we'd worked out we had to check in somewhere else).

Great location. Our son loved the playground. Leanne was fantastic when speaking to her over the phone. Accomodation itself was comfortable.
Didn’t really like the dead insects over the pillows in one of the rooms. No spare rubbish bags were made available. Other than that our stay was great.

Only down side.... Each night at approximately 9:45- 10pm, the departing hospitality staff/chef (black sedan car) preference to blast a good 10-15 mins of some questionable Drum & Bass out of his car stereo was not ideal to be honest. - resulting in a woken 2 year old toddler..

There was plenty of room, clean and tidy.My family were impressed with the facilities, and it was warm
Our whānau cooked up a nice breakfast on the morning we left.Loved the splendid views and you still had that feeling of being out in the country although Havelock North and Hastings is close.Really enjoyed our stay.Thank you to the staff.👍😁
We stayed two nights, both units were not serviced when we came back the 2nd night. However I just went to the restaurant and they gave me towels.Wasnt sure if daily servicing was offered in the first place though.😊

Great location. Could walk out the door for a drink and a meal. Lovely view from the deck.

The location, the outlook, the comfort, the restaurant on site. Checking in was easy, checking out was even easier, and the staff we dealt with were exceptionally helpful and super friendly.
There was nothing about this place that we didn't like. We loved it, and hope to go back sometime soon.
