Very happy with the stay - peaceful and relaxing which is just what we wanted.

Location was great - close to the beach but quiet enough to avoid the bustling crowds when the beach got too busy. Pool area was really lovely and set in a heavenly garden so felt like we were on a tropical island. Host was the most attentive and responsive ever. Appreciated that despite the fact that we were on the same property, the host gave us as much privacy as possible.

Cleanliness could have been a bit better but everything else made up for it.

Tranquility personified. Rest and relaxation

Beautiful garden, comfortable beds, everything one could possibly need at ones disposal. Indonesian and African fusion design that was so comfortable and homely. Attention to detail was outstanding, right down to mosquito repellent in every room. An Attentive manager just capped of a beautiful weekend

A beautiful quiet property, amazing gardens, very spacious and comfortable accommodation and excellent support from the hosts. Very good security and facilities incl internet and power.

Fabulous, we will only stay here when in the area.

We love the Villa, have been before and will return again. The gardens are marvellous, the location is perfect and Ian, the host, is a delight! That it is pet-friendly was the initial reason we chose it, but all the aforementioned reasons is why we keep going back.

Never again!

The appartment is situated in a quiet and green environment and has everything one needs for self-catering. The electric power cuts, which are frequent in South Africa, hardly affect the appartments. The manager is friendly and helpful, but only as long as you are willing to accept all inconveniences.

Because the flat is not kept clean enough, there are cockroaches in the kitchen. Although the whole property is secured with an alarm system, there are more lights and spots burning outside at night than necessary. The curtains were not enough to darken my bedroom. For personal reasons, I had to cancel my second booking. According to the terms and conditions, the amount paid in advance was non-refundable. However, as the flat was booked a short time later on one of the cancelled dates, the manager was willing to partially refund the amount paid. When I reminded him of his promise after two weeks, he became rude and insulting!

Our host Ian was so friendly and helpful. beautiful decor, very comfortable and great location.

The location was ideal, a short walk to Salt Rock beach. The accommodation was superb, Kitchen was like home from home. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was a massive plus. The garden was a little oasis and Ian definitely has green fingers - what a stunning array of plants. Close to everything and really love space to relax in.

Taste of paradise

Ian greeted us like we were old friends. This carried on when we met Andrew and of course the 2 beautiful dogs and let's not forget their gorgeous cat. When you drive through the gates it's like you are been transported to a different place. The only sounds you hear are the birds. You feel safe and secure at the same time not like a prison. The house has everything you could want or need and let's not forget the pool which we had all to ourselves. Its a home away from home.

If I had to pick on something, the pillows were not to our liking but that is a personal taste as you cannot please everyone.

Unforgettable stay in Salt Rock

The Villa is perfectly situated near the beach. It is pet friendly and the garden is huge and beautiful. The owner Ian made our stay exceptional.

Stunning home away from home

Wow best value for money amazing trangiuility!!!

Wow every thing was amazingly tranquility. Every thing a person could need was just ready excellent taste in decor. The people even more friendlier and acomidating ! Privacy also fantastic. Like I said wow wow wow loved it.. thank you Ian
