I have stayed at many campsites and this one was really great. Very warm and clean rooms. Heaps of activities to do; badmington, yoga, watch movies, outdoor fire, ping pong etc. Very well equipped. Showers were large, warmed up instantly. They had hair dryers available and a coffee shop on site. Good location too.

The place is beautiful, unbeatable location, space and surroundings. The facilities are nice and comfortable, clean and looked after. I love to be able to see the sunrise in the sea from the beautiful garden, and the bird's singing is a real plus!
My only concern is that it's becoming a bit expensive, the rooms have shared toilets and kitchen, my husband understood the big kitchen was closed, so we used the small one, which was packed with people, impossible to cook. Later I saw the big kitchen open, so it must have been my husband's mistake. Still, for that price we can afford a self contained cabin in golden bay, which is as stunning as marahau. But if price is not a concern, this place is pretty special and a real beauty. I would still go back if I can.

Location was peaceful and close to hikes we had planned to take. Beautiful scenery. Cabin suitable for our short trip. Kitchen facilities great, with all cooking utensils provided really useful!

Kitchen, toilet and shower were so dirty. Not keen to use them unless I had no choice
Hasn't been cleaned enough especially toilet and shower

Wi Fi Crap. Lasted less than 10 min and buffering
Paid above average rates for below average facilities. There was no where to watch National News, and Beach Signs lead to Nowhere.

The location is absolutely perfect!
The kitchen is amazing as there is a lot of equipment for everyone to cook, i was impressed!
The little cabin are perfect to sleep in!
The bathrooms weren’t very clean.. maybe more visits from the people that take care of them to make sure..?
I was greeted by a young lady who looked completely bored and annoyed with my questions.. which doesn’t give a good impression to start with..

Cute, small, cabin what make me laugh at first, but it works very well! Everything inside ”the house” is very clean and looks new.
Location is great and all services are nearby.
My mistake was too tight schedule, I should absolutely spend there at least 3 nights.
Shared toilet and shower building (near my cabin) could be more clean.

The room was quite clean. Check in process is smooth. The heater is warm enough. Our room is quite close to the facilities. Bathroom provided a lot of hook to hook our stuff. And a lot of plug in the room.
Toilet should separate by gender. Unfortunately saw a cockroach in the toilet.

We loved the comfort and cleanliness of the cabin. And nicely heated since it was winter! Although we had little time in the camp, the location is amazing and offer spaciousness, privacy and an awesome social outdoor area which must be enchanting in the summer! Friendly staff not to be forgotten:-)

Quiet, cosy rooms! The living and cooking spaces are the best I’ve seen out of all of those in the South Island! Staff were amazingly helpful and nice!

The location was amazing, the beds (in the dorm/cabin) were really comfortable and they were single beds and they have hammocks!
The atmosphere was really relaxed and you can see an amazing sunrise from 'the beach' or the bridges going to it.
Kitchen was well equipped.
They have a place.to do laundry and to hang it to dry.
The kitchen was quite small.
The showers were nice, but the temperature was not reliable. A few times the shower water got really hot, so hot that I almost felt that I got a slight burn.
I missed a place were I could store my stuff, instead of just putting it next to my bed.

Kitchen and bathroom was always clean and there was always a shower or a burner in the kitchen available.
It got a little cold at night with the provided bedding so may need to bring your own or dress for the occasion.

The location is great. The cabins were cozy and you’re able to buy some food at the reception, as there is no supermarket nearby.

The barn was amazing we will definitely come back again! The location couldn’t be better, at the entrance of Abel Tasman and next to an amazing restaurant. We woke up in the morning to the sunrise and the sound of the sheep outside of our Glamping tent. Super comfortable even in the rain! The shared bathrooms were super clean and easy

Perfect place to stay after a day on the Abel Tasman track.
Limited parking, no microwave (but there were plenty of pots and elements etc.)

This is a camping/caravan site with some accommodation units. Its a lovely location, at the southern end of the Abel Tasman Great Walk, behind a wetland. Lots of trees, communal areas, etc, friendly staff. There was a v pleasant laid back vibe about the place - and this is inspite of lots of kids haring around. Two very nice eateries nearby - as well as spacious on-site communal kitchens, with lots of small groups, happily doing their own things.
The accommodation units are these small shipping container-like pods containing two beds, table, wifi and that's about it. I thought £45 per night was pretty steep. And mine was a bit of a walk from the "facilities". For an insomniac it meant I was fully awake again by the time I'd got back to my pod. That said, the beds and linens were pretty nice!

Great location, super friendly staff, amazing views from the cabins (which are small but cozy and comfortable), clean kitchen, great garden en seating around the cabins
Toilets and showers are a little walk from the cabins and not the newest, but no biggie!

A very attractive set up and Ideal.. I missed read the times of arrival and where I was in the South Island.
The team at the front were very happy to roll over my booking. Fabulous location. Comfortable and easy to access facilities which were clean and tidy.
