About this house rental
Miller’s cottage is a remodeled almost 100-year-old historic home in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. This cottage is full of color and modern takes on vintage designs. Miller’s is close to downtown Kerrville with many restaurants, coffee, bars, theater, river trail, breweries, wineries nearby.
We kept the historic details of this 1927 "Sears catalog" home, while adding in the needed modern amenities and a few pops of color. Miller’s has an open floor plan, lots of natural light, very comfortable memory foam King beds, luxury linens, bamboo sheets and family friendly furnishings that create the perfect setting for your stay. This is a 2-beds 1-bath home with the Bedrooms sharing a Jack and Jill Bathroom with original sink and clawfoot tub.
Outdoor/ Indoor Amenities: Large deck and outdoor furnishings for entertaining. OUTDOOR RAIN SHOWER. String lights to light backyard. WELL APPOINTED KITCHEN. Large, fenced backyard, Six person, very PRIVATE HOT TUB. FIRE PIT area. Barbecue GRILL. Outdoor game area. WIFI. Smart TV, log right into your favorite source for shows and movies. iPhone charger in each room. Dog friendly. Dog treats, dog bed, medium kennel/crate available as well. NO CATS************Late check out and early check in can be requested but will depend on availability. For families, there is a Play Park two blocks away. The entire house and yard are yours to enjoy.

I try hard to have more than just the basics like having iPhone chargers next to the beds for guests to use. In addition, Miller’s has an equipped kitchen, fabulous barware, great books on mixology, beautiful throws, blankets for by the fire pit, luggage racks in both rooms, essential oils and defuser, paper and plastic goods.
Great for romantic getaways, trips with friends, family getaway, wine excursions and dropping kids off at camp.
Lawn service come on Tuesdays between 8 am - 12 pm they do the front and back yard. If weather is bad, it might be Wednesday. Be aware when booking.
We will give you a code to get in. We will give you total privacy, however if you need anything at all, we are only 3 minutes away.
No public transportation, but you won't need it. This a small town with lots of amenities within driving distance.
Cleaning: We have always had rigorous cleaning standards; your health and safety are very important to us. Every linen is cleaned every time. On top of regular cleaning, we sanitize everything that can be touched - Pull chains, switches, doorknobs, handles, keypad, Keurig handle, cabinet door handles, oven handle and knobs, refrigerator door handle, etc.
Extra’s: Celebrating something special and want balloons and decorations there? Want a personal chef? Would you like a charcuterie board there when you arrive? What a gift waiting for someone? If you are celebrating something special and would like flowers, wine or decorations, etc. there upon arrival, feel free to arrange that ahead of time with me. Cost plus 30%

This is the second summer we stayed in Millers Cottage. Our daughter attends a summer camp nearby so this is our home base for closing weekend. The location is excellent. Charming little house. Sweet amenities to make it feel like home. Highly suggest this little getaway.

Cute 2 bed / 1 bath home with a great backyard, including covered patio with big table and chairs, hot tub, crushed granite area with fire pit and large yard area. We enjoyed sunsets and watched the 2024 solar eclipse from the backyard.
Easy drive to shops and restaurants. There were 2 cruiser bikes on the back porch that were perfect for a quick ride to the local brewery!

This historic home was remodeled beautifully with tasteful details, a perfect stop for our family (hubby and 2 labs). The location was very walkable, the fenced yard and back porch was a favorite for all of us, especially after the river walk. We would definitely come again.

Great location for Carlsbad Caverns. House was very clean, suited our needs. We ate in town at Yellowbrix, dog friendly. The yard and exterior need some attention.

The Miller Cottage is fantastic! It still has the charm and character of the past with modern touches. It is so comfortable, spotless and well furnished. We brought our dog, and it was the perfect setup for her with the fenced back yard. We loved the sunrise and sunset honor bar and the private hot tub! Communications with Kim were easy and fast. We would definitely come back to the Miller Cottage!

It was clean and well kept in a nice neighborhood Overall a very nice place, nice city everything was within 5 minutes. the washer/dryer worked as did the hot tub. Patio was nice and the lights at night looked very good. There are also deer everywhere. Just a couple of things bugged me. There is no storage dresser or chest to put clothes, you are pulling clothes out of your suitcase. My wife would have liked to have a mirror in the bedroom, only mirrors in bathroom. I should have made sure but I was mainly looking for washer/dryer, there is no dishwasher so on vacation we had to wash dishes by hand.

We were in Kerrville for a 4 day car Rallye. We’ve been to Kerrville in the past so we know the area fairly well. Since we were bringing our dogs we were looking for a place with a fenced backyard so they could run a little. The house was perfect. Being close to downtown we had easy access to the Rallye hotel, eateries and a great start for hill country car runs. The house was clean and comfortable, perfect for the two of us and the dogs. We did food take out a couple of times, so the kitchen and dining area came in handy. Would definitely stay here again if similar circumstances present themselves.

The four of us (myself, husband, and two adult sons) thought this house was just perfect for us. The house was extremely clean and well-appointed with dishes, kitchenware, towels, coffee maker, etc. Our son brought his little dog and the backyard gave her some safe space to run around. Nights were very quiet which made sleeping so easy. Both of our sons enjoyed the hot tub one night. Restaurants and amenities were SO close - only minutes to everything. We visited Lost Maples State Park while here which was about an hour away. We definitely recommend this property.

Nice place, great location. Best thing about the hot tub is i didn't have to clean it, just enjoy it. Would have liked a usb hub/outlet on the nightstand. A lot of little things and details the hosts do made it very enjoyable. Kitchen stocked with anything you would need to cook with, glasses for wine etc. Didn't find mints on the pillow, but still gave it 5 stars.

Nice house/property
This was a really a nice property, in good condition with lots of amenities. I think it was actually a little nicer than the pictures. 2 Bedrooms with a large chare bath, full kitchen & living area. It had a nice patio area with a hot tub that was very clean and easy to operate. The house and grounds overall where also very c learn. It had everything we expected, it was well appointed and even some things we weren't expecting like games we could play with our daughter and bikes to ride around town.. I would stay here again.

Pretty much the definition of "cute," we enjoyed a relaxing time here while visiting Kerrville. This little house is well located and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back porch, hot tub and fire pit.
