About this house rental

This gated and secured ocean front home is nestled in and very private...located between Cocoa Beach Pier and Port Canaveral, both in walking distance. This property is also near Ron Jon Surf Shop and Cocoa Beach Village which has lots of shops, music, and great places to eat. The Port offers helicopter rides, day and night casino cruises, Parasailing, lots of shopping and several restaurants. Rocket launches are beautiful from our beachfront…make sure to check the schedule when visiting. Our home is very clean and has been nicely renovated. We have a full kitchen with large dining table, Media/Living room, and Sun room with large triple sliding doors leading to Outdoor Entertaining Area with Grill and walkway to Beach. We provide our guests with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and boogie boards. We work hard to ensure our guests have a great time and an enjoyable vacation! If you are looking for a private Spa experience we are offering Mulvaine Dunes Cabana Massage Packages “exclusive to our guests” who can book prior to their stay. Our home is one of the few privately owned ocean front properties on Cocoa Beach and has been loved by all who have visited...we have for 5 years maintained a solid 5 Star Rating…our end of the day goal is to ensure that everyone has a great vacation and would love to come back and visit again!

This was our second stay at the Mulvaine Cottage. It does not disappoint!! The cottage provides a sense of comfort and coziness. Creates the feeling of a true beach vacation from its charming decor and amenities. The location of the property is perfect for walking activities. The home owners, Lynn and Dave are amazing!! They are very friendly and helpful!! Lynn contacted us several times during our stay to see how our stay was going and also to keep us informed of activities going on in the area. They want to ensure their guests are happy and enjoying themselves. We love this property. Very quiet and relaxing!! So hard to leave!!

Property was exactly as described. Right on the beach, great location, clean, all the amenities expected. Communication with the property was great. Watched a launch on the beach, perfect. I do have one complaint. I wish we could have stayed longer. We had such a great time we hated going home!

A work conference brought us to Orlando in August and we decided to extend our stay but closer to the beach. We had an utterly fabulous time staying at the Mulvaine beach cottage! The cottage exceeded our expectations for proximity to the beach - it really IS a short walk over the dunes to the large flat, easily walkable beach. The water was GREAT! We did an easy 3+ miles each morning after enjoying our morning coffee on the patio under the retractable umbrella. The shade the umbrella offered allowed us to stay outside longer. The home is sweetly decorated, has a charming warm and cozy feel. Plenty of space to sit and read, listen to music or nap. Nap were important for us since a beach day can be a good workout! We appreciated the spacious rooms, kitchen had many utensils and adorable homemade coffee cups with Mulvaine Cottage on them. So Cute! The cottage is PERFECTLY situated closely to beach bike rentals, RonJon’s surf shop, Publix for groceries and much more. It is carefully tucked away on a side street that was quiet but SO close to anything you might need. Papa Vito’s was a great take out pizza place. Lynn & Dave tipped us off that a rocket was scheduled to launch and it did. We were lucky enough to see it! It was hard to leave Mulvaine and we would absolutely stay here again. I’ve already shared this great VRBO with two of my coworkers. Thank you Lynn & Dave!!

This quaint home is tucked away in a lovely area of Cocoa Beach. You have your own private walkway to the beach and plenty of parking. This sweet cottage had everything that my husband and I needed. Lynn was a great hostess.. she answered calls and texts quickly and was able to accomodate us for an early check in. Beautiful view of Cape Canaveral if you are lucky enough to stay there when there is a launch (AND WE WERE)! All and all a great stay at the Mulvaine Beach house.. we would definitely come back!

My family and I stayed for our spring break and thoroughly enjoyed the property. My kids loved the sand toys and body boards that we would not have been able to bring along on plane with us:) These made beach time so enjoyable. Everything was clean, simple and decorated with good taste to make any stay comfortable and cozy. It feels like you are in your aunt's summer house for a few days and the trail in the backyard to go to the beach is an invitation to a little adventure by itself. We loved the direct access to the beach day or night, the gazebo tent with BBQ in the patio and definitely plan to go back in summer.

This little house was the best, the entire family loved it and my youngest even cried when we left. Communication with Lynn was excellent she notified us of any local events and responded to our questions quickly. Who ever cleans the home does a great job there wasn't a stray piece of sand or dust to be found. Linens were of good quality and soft, towels were nice and big and not cheap. Home was nicely decorated and beds were comfy. My husband loved the water pressure in the shower, since our home doesn't have the greatest. 😅 The location wasn't far from the pier or restaurants. Was very quiet and relaxing. Loved the privacy of the location and private walk to the beach. Definately would stay here again when in Cocoa Beach!

The Mulvaine is a charming cottage located with the perfect private beach access. The cottage provides a sense of comfort and creates the feeling of a true beach vacation with its beautifully decorated interior. Our family had an amazing experience staying at the cottage. We enjoyed being in walking distance to the beach and other area sites including the pier. This cottage exceeded all expectations and left us wanting to return again. The owner has the utmost hospitality and was very helpful in providing information about the cottage as well as the Cocoa Beach area. This is a wonderful property located in a fantastic location on Cocoa Beach. The cottage is very clean and had lots of space for our family with 2 teens to spread out. The furniture was comfortable and we loved the outdoor dining area. The absolute best part was the location! Just a very short path to the beach. We were very nervous that the area would be crowded since it's close to the pier. What a wonderful surprise to find that we almost had the beach to ourselves! But, if we wanted to be more in the "action" all we had to do was walk a few minutes down the beach to the pier. If we ever come back to Cocoa Beach we will definitely try to stay here again. The Mulvaine is a wonderful place to stay!
