The service was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. The food was superb. The hotel has several pools and a beautiful beach. There is a genuinely relaxed and classy atmosphere. It was easily the best hotel experience and the best holiday I've ever had.
I can't criticise this place at all.

Travelled to Casa Hemingway with my 13 year old daughter for Spring break - the Hotel is lovely, clean and quiet - the staff were all incredibly nice. Breakfast was included and there was a decent selection to choose from. The walk to the beach was short, down a beautiful quiet street and across the boulevard where we barely saw a car!
Club Hemingway resort was amazing, huge pools and no one in them, my daughter had the pool to herself for 6 days, the beach is really clean, water crystal clear - we went to the gym a few days and that was well stocked and clean also.
Overall the grounds and the facilities were impeccable - not sure if it was just the time of year but there was barely anyone there, which we loved!
The only thing that could have been better was the food - outside of breakfast it was really lacking. I imagined eating incredible fresh fish everyday but that didn't happen - the best dishes we had the entire trip were chicken fajitas and spaghetti at the Club Hemingway restaurants. The Hotel food was sadly sub par but I did read other reviews stating that so it wasn't a huge surprise. A few points were that the burgers were overcooked, shrimps weren't properly cleaned and also overcooked, Caesar salad was dripping in sauce, Dorado fish was overcooked and "coconut sauce" didn't not look like coconut sauce - that said, we didn't get sick from any food, we were just underwhelmed.
I think being that the rooms have kitchens perhaps most people cook for themselves when there, not what I wanted to do on vacation but next time I might consider that, unless the food improves by then!
Outside of the food, it would have been nice to have been told of any local excursions we could have done - not sure if there were any but we weren't informed of any or given any info upon check in - I also didn't ask, so maybe that was our mistake.
We didn't get to try the restaurant over the water sadly - I made a reservation but when we arrived it wasn't open, and then we only had a couple of days left and my daughter got mild sun stroke so we weren't able to try and go again, next time - not sure if it was off season but there were days when not all the Club Hemingway restaurants were open during the day.

beautifully maintained and clean, rooms were super quiet, great breakfast, the beach was also very beautiful, will definitely go back
wasn’t clear in the description that we had to get to the beach by crossing a street, although we made reservations at the restaurants they still didn’t seem to be ready for us

The hotel is newly renovated and very modern. We had a king suite that was spacious, the balcony was beautiful and comfortable. The shower has hot water all of the time as each unit has in instantaneous water heater. The kitchen was large, perfect for a long-term stay. The beach is private with watchful security. Multiple pools to choose from. The restaurants were good.
The walls were a little thin, we could hear the kids screaming next door pretty well.

The staff are exceptional, facilities are excellent, great location.
Food is just ok, the italian rest. that my wife and i like, is only open on weekends now. We were very disappointed seeing as we were there mid week. The food is their low point.

the room was like a small condo, extremely well arranged. loved the washer/dryer, the kitty, large patio.

my room starting to smoke from the bottom of the bathroom sink , Then the A/C started to leak water all over the kitchen and items that we had in the breakfast bar, horrible experince

The staff were great and the rooms were a lovely size, it has a feel of luxury when you walk in and we felt very well looked after.
It was very expensive for what it was in this country. The rooms were nice, but I've stayed in nicer for less than half the price, the pool was nice but clearly not cleaned, the food was good but overpriced, the breakfast was one of the worst I've had in the Domican Republic, sweaty cheese and ham and stale bread.

The beach and cabanas are incredible. The balcony is like an extra room, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
