My partner and I had the loveliest stay here! I was visiting from Perth and couldn't have been happier with where we chose to stay for a couple nights. The accommodation itself was so beautiful and cozy, the area was incredibly scenic. The host Verona was so sweet and friendly, she was incredibly accommodating and very quick to respond. Highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting a quirky cottagecore getaway.

Verona and Bill's beautiful place is the perfect retreat to unwind with the sound of birds and the river flowing. Nestled among the trees with magical views from the balconies and every window, the BnB is Spotlessly clean and full of character. Thank-you for your generous hospitality.

We had the most glorious stay! Verona was so lovely and hospitable, breakfast was delicious and the guest house was so cute and well equipped. We left feeling very zen and very at one with nature. Her property is beautiful and we had the opportunity to sit by the creek which was a real highlight. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay with Rona in her delightful B&B. The room was a large studio apartment with a large bed, living space and dining area, all presented beautifully. Rona was very helpful throughout, she was there to welcome us even though we arrived late and left some treats including florentines in the apartment. She also provided a lovely breakfast of cereals and pastries each morning, along with juice and coffee. We would highly recommend staying with her, and hope to come back to visit one day!

The property was located in a quaint location beside the river. The host had a great attention to detail from the decor to the necessities needed for our stay. Rona was such a pleasant person with a beautiful personality and a great person to deal with. Would highly recommend to friends and family and have promised to make a constant visit. Certainly felt like home away from home.

Words cannot describe how much we loved staying at this incredible place! Everything about it was absolutely perfect, from the beautiful timber cabin, a mix of cosy and homey with a touch of luxury, to the heartwarming hospitality of Rona, the host. The cabin was decorated with fresh flowers and had everything you could need for your stay, including a clothes rack for wet ski clothes and a coffee plunger. There was a very comfortable bed (long enough for my 2m tall husband!) and high quality linen and towels. Breakfast was very tasty, and the coffee was exceptional! Rona is a ray of sunshine and spoilt us with her delicious baking and her great stories. She was also very flexible with check-in and breakfast times. I highly recommend this B&B for a truly unforgettable stay! We cannot wait to come back!

Our recent 2 night stay at Lavender Hue B&B was just delightful.
The property is simply gorgeous and set amongst the most beautiful, lush & tranquil gardens. The interior oozes warmth and cosiness with lovely wood panelling and all the comforts you could wish for.
The Ovens river at the back of the property was an added delight and we even caught sight of a baby deer eating berries along the banks of the river from the back veranda.
The delicious breakfasts were wonderful which we enjoyed out on the balcony each morning amongst the treetops, listening to the birds and the sounds of the river.
Our hosts Verona and Bill were so lovely and welcoming and gave us plenty of ideas for things to do in the region.
We just loved our stay and look forward to returning again soon. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful place. Wonderful hosts who go out of their way to be hospitable and welcoming. Rona spoiled us with lovely breakfast, fresh flowers and produce from their gorgeous garden. The cottage is so comfortable - warm timbers overlooking the treed surrounds. Could have stayed much longer and would love to return.

From the moment you drive through the gate, along the beautiful tree lined drive, opening to a spectacular garden landscape. Then the gorgeous chalet b&b comes into sight, with stunning views of the river and gardens from the balconies. The accomodation is spotlessly clean and welcoming, built with love and local timber. The hosts Verona and Bill go the extra mile to make you feel like family, with all your needs meticulously catered for. The property is a credit to them both. Hoping to have many more weekends at Lavender Hue.

The property had the required amenities and the host, Rona, was attentive and considerate. She provided a lovely breakfast each morning and it was great to chat with her while we were there. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay here. We’d highly recommend it to anyone.
