Our 4 star bed & breakfast studio/loft accommodation in Harrietville in the Ovens Valley, is styled in the tradition of a cosy mountain lodge, with beautiful, hand crafted furnishings and abundant use of interior timbers that create a real sense of warmth. Outside, spectacular trees, flowers and birds enhance the experience and provide beauty in every season. The B&B is very highly rated by our guests and we love seeing people return year after year.

Sit in the morning sun on the bedroom balcony and enjoy a delicious continental breakfast with fine espresso coffee and views of the lavender fields. From the kitchen balcony, enjoy an afternoon BBQ while listening to the sounds of the mountain river only 20 metres away.

The property is on the banks of the Ovens River and features cottage gardens, natural bushland and quiet sitting areas to absorb the colours and fragrances of the summer lavender crop to the reds and golds of autumn, and iridescent colours and greens of new spring growth and the ever-bounding sounds of the river in winter.

GREAT LOCATION
Ideally located only 19 minutes from Bright and 30 minutes from Mt Hotham. Harrietville, with its cafes, general store and 2 hotels, caters for skiers in the winter months while the other seasons, bush walkers and bike riders enjoy the peace and beauty of the Ovens Valley. Enjoy scenic drives to NE Victorian Gourmet Food and Wine regions, the Alpine Resorts of Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Mt Buffalo, and historic towns. Harrietville is a quaint little sub-alpine village at the foot of Mt Hotham. Harrietville is also rich in the history of the goldfields and the cattlemen of the high country.

My partner and I had the loveliest stay here! I was visiting from Perth and couldn't have been happier with where we chose to stay for a couple nights. The accommodation itself was so beautiful and cozy, the area was incredibly scenic. The host Verona was so sweet and friendly, she was incredibly accommodating and very quick to respond. Highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting a quirky cottagecore getaway.

Was a beautiful stay at Verona’s B&B. Not just the place itself but Verona went out of her way to make us feel welcome and thought of everything we might need for a comfortable stay. An absolutely beautiful stay :)

Verona and Bill's beautiful place is the perfect retreat to unwind with the sound of birds and the river flowing. Nestled among the trees with magical views from the balconies and every window, the BnB is Spotlessly clean and full of character. Thank-you for your generous hospitality.

We had the most glorious stay! Verona was so lovely and hospitable, breakfast was delicious and the guest house was so cute and well equipped. We left feeling very zen and very at one with nature. Her property is beautiful and we had the opportunity to sit by the creek which was a real highlight. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay with Rona in her delightful B&B. The room was a large studio apartment with a large bed, living space and dining area, all presented beautifully. Rona was very helpful throughout, she was there to welcome us even though we arrived late and left some treats including florentines in the apartment. She also provided a lovely breakfast of cereals and pastries each morning, along with juice and coffee. We would highly recommend staying with her, and hope to come back to visit one day!
