Beautiful hotel, felt like we'd arrived in a bohemian paradise. Lovely warm greeting on arrival and a free upgrade to Junior Suite with shared pool.
Oku Kos is pure relaxation, beautiful pool with the comfiest loungers plus beautiful beach area. The restaurant and bar are exceptional, fabulous menu for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

The staff is welcoming and fast. We got an upgrade and the room was clean. Beautiful morning yoga at the beach. Not so crowded at the beach. The food in the evening was very good - a la carte, but it comes with a price.
There were too many mosquitos in the evening at the dining table which killed the vibe. Breakfast was not so impressive. The pool area gets busy and there is no space.

Beautiful design and beach

Loved the location on the island and the simple decor. It really focused on the food and relaxed atmosphere. Very well out together.
If I’m really grasping at straws the only thing I would say is it would have been nice to have been offered a bug spray/lotion as the mosquitoes were out in force at dusk but aside from that couldn’t fault the resort.

Staff went above and beyond, beautiful beach, amazing food, very clean! Allowed us to have an evening check out as we had a late flight!
Loved everything

Fantastic hotel. Lovely staff who are always smiling looking to help. Delicious food and super relaxed atmosphere. Elena at the bar and Elena in guest services are absolutely brilliant.

The property is stunning, and the location is great. The service is very good, the staff are very helpful and if there is a challenge its dealt with very quickly, and they will try their best to accommodate everything you need with a smile. We stayed in a suite with a pool and our room was lovely.
If you are vegan or vegetarian you are slightly limited in food options, but the kitchen team were on hand to help us out. Bare the price point of this hotel in mind, though in Kos it’s not as cheap as you would expect it to be in Greece. But again, this hotel is a 5-star boutique property and in comparison to the other hotels and properties we saw as we travelled around Kos, they don't even compare to this place.

Staff friendliness, great food, stylish surroundings
Larger communal pool would be nice

the location, it really is in the middle of not much

Overall the property is lovely. We especially liked the room and the food beverage service.
The size of the spa facilities and the fact you must pay for access to the sauna.

Breakfast and dinner was always the same, which became a but boring.

High end quality accommodation at a decent price. If you’re looking to escape from every day life then this is the place. They have AMAZING food - especially the calamari … WOW … of the best I’ve ever had. The pizza is also great - they make it in a real brick pizza oven which makes all the difference. The staff was super friendly & helpful & overall an amazing experience. The lady at the boutique shop (Eva) was super nice - she greeted us with warm towels & a drink … throughout our stay she also spoiled us with the BEST chocolate lava cake I ever had ❤️💜❤️
We were there the last few days before the resort closed for the season so the beach was left unattended many days with dirty classes & towels. Only when I mentioned it to them did they finally go clean up.

The staff and hospitality were wonderful. We loved the varied evening meals as they changed everyday. We celebrated my husband's 30th birthday whilst staying and the guest Manager, Elena, upgraded us to a suite with pool which made our stay extra special. The beach was clean and we loved the calming asthetic.
The breakfast wasn't as varied as we would have liked, quite limited on hot food selection and fruit options and focused on cake and pastries.

Great staff, amazing spa, stunning design and like staying in a village
position against the coast can make it quite windy

it’s beautiful and quaint and perfect for watching sunsets.
only thing I didn’t like was that my room was behind the restaurant so I got the sound and smell from the kitchen vent and the garbage collection happened right in front of my terrace as well. it was a minor inconvenience, though, as I didn’t spend much time in the room anyway - the beach and the pool area were just so beautiful and relaxing.
3.5
Very well designed, both practically and aesthetically. Whilst the rooms are quite close together, you never feel like you loose privacy. The decking area overlooks the sand dunes was very beautifully laid out, and was the perfect spot for an evening drink. Staff were friendly, and helpful when we had any concerns or questions. The yoga class on the beach was a particular highlight.
To be honest, we were a bit underwhelmed by the OKU. We booked the hotel as something a little special for the first stop on our honeymoon, and it didn't really live up to expectations. The rooms were beautifully decorated, but lacked some of the basic facilities you would expect of a 5* hotel (until we asked, our minibar wasn't even stocked).
The restaurant was nice, but service was slow (we waited almost an hour for dinner on the first day), and the drinks menu seemed quite overpriced. I also didn't like that they encourage you to view the menu on your phone. We initially left our phones in our room so we could speak to each other over dinner and not get distracted, but the wine list isn't even available in paper form so you have to get your phone out over dinner.
It would also have been useful to have more information from the hotel before arrival on the facilities and activities available. It being the first stop on our honeymoon we had thought about treating ourselves to a couples massage in the spa, but found out on arrival that we should have booked this beforehand as it was now unavailable for the duration of our stay.
Finally, and I appreciate this is a very minor point, but given we had told the hotel that we were on our honeymoon we might have expected some acknowledgement of this, however none of the staff so much as said congratulations which rather took the buzz out of the start of our trip.

Heaven on earth. Period. Absolutely everything was perfect in our suite and in the hotel, and it exceeded by far our expectations. The team is wonderful and is going out of the way to make your stay amazing in every way possible. Special (and huge) thanks to Elena for taking care of us like we were special guests. We were also amazed by the quality of the food. And of course, last but not least, the beach is divine too.
Nothing. Many other so-called 5 stars hotels could learn from this one!

Very stylish, private sandy beach with comfy loungers and shade, small pools with some of the rooms (shared between three rooms), fabulous food on the half board deal

We chose Oku Kos for our anniversary and we had a wonderful experience. All staff work hard to make you feel at home and you are having excellent experience. This is a place to refresh and and have energy. Special thanks to Elena for her smile and hospitality.

Everything at the resort was brilliant. The complex was beautifully designed with great amenities. The beach was wonderful and easy to get food/drink delivered there. The food at meal times was exceptional.
Nothing to do with the hotel itself but sometimes found the service a bit slow, getting food, waiting for drinks etc. Found ourselves a few too many times having to ask for things a second/third time.

The team at Oku gave us a real 5-star stay. They were friendly, polite and always went above and beyond to help with your every need. Our room was beautiful, quiet and comfortable and the terrace meant we had plenty of room to spread out, be it on the sunbeds, at the table or in the hammock. We loved the pool bar and beach and spent a lot of time here. The beach was also lovely, the sun beds are SO comfortable and there was also a nice breeze to mask the heat. The sea is refreshing but warm.
One aspect which really surprised me was the half board menu. We booked HB on the expectation that it would be your usual buffet and we would just order from the a la carte, but it was beyond our expectations! It was a carefully thought out menu, different for each day of the week, made up from choices on the a la carte menu, with 3 different choices for mains each night. We only ordered from the a la carte twice because we fancied something different. The range of cocktails and drinks on offer are also extensive and so we never struggled for choice. The breakfast buffet was also excellent!!
If you want to use the spa, go and book as soon as you arrive as it can fill up quick. We both experienced a massage and facial each which were excellent!
Overall an amazing stay if you're looking for a quiet getaway, good food, service and time to recharge. We will be going back.

Beautiful hotel, the check-in and cleaning staff were very nice. The hotel is beautifully designed and the gardens are very well maintained. The bar menu is fantastic and the bar manager was very polite and friendly.
The restaurant staff was in the lack of a better work...ok. They don't seem to be very familiar with the menu and how the food is prepared (in one situation I've asked how a dish was prepared and the answer I got was "I don't know, I'm not the chef"). Also, the coffee service during breakfast is quite slow.
The access to the beach is very easy but there aren't enough sun beds for the amount of guests and people tend to reserve their places early in the morning (which I understand the hotel can't control). But, it's unfortunate to pay for such rates and not have sun beds available. The beach area is in need of some sand cleaning. We are all aware of pollution and littering, but an occasional cleaning of the hotel beach would make sense and bring it to the standard of the hotel infrastructure.
Access to the spa and sauna costs an additional 25 euros per person for 1 hour...considering the rates that the hotel charges I find this to spoil a bit the guest experience.
Again something that the hotel can't control, but there are a lot of mosquitos at dusk. They don't provide a repellant in the room, you can buy it at the hotel store for 9 euros.
