We spent 3 weeks in this homelike feeling house. Dave is a welcoming hostwho made sure that we were informed about everything. The brand new boat is in great shape and allows you to take trips to the Sand Bar. We can recommend this house with a good feeling.

This is our 3rd or 4th time staying here. We love it that much. Dave the owner is a perfect host, he never bugged us, he always makes sure to accommodate us, and makes sure everything is in order. The place has a pontoon boat that will seat 12, wonderful time going to the anchlote island, and there is a sandbar out there on low tide you can sit on and snorkel. Lots of sea urchants, snook, greenbacks, pinfish, scallops, stingrays, and much more. The place is like home, a double oven with a glass top, with warmer, and a microwave, blender's, freezer for your bait in the garage, kayaks for going out in the channel. Fishing poles, spices, coffee maker, curig, a pool, floating dock, outside shower to clean off with after the beach, screened in pool, and a lounging room with table chairs and seats with a radio, pool lights, easy in and out. Instructions are in the kitchen, garbage is picked up twice a week, Walmart is only 4 miles away, other stores close to only 1 mile (Publix). Bait shops only a few miles away, direction's to get NON - Ethanol gas for the boat, a grill outside by the pool area, also fans and lights out by the extra room by the pool. My family loves it and it always feels like home. I cooked every night, sitting around the table discussing the days activities, and the high points of each person's day. Dave (the owner) is always only a phone call away. Thank you Dave for lending us your home again. Helping us make such good memories, that are lasting.

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the property that we have visited several times before. The owner has continually updated and improved the property and is a beautiful, clean and peaceful location on the water. We caught Spanish mackerel enough to bring home some fish for the freezer! Thanks to the owner for another great vacation experience

We stayed here June 5th-12th. It was our first time renting a house for vacation, and we had never been to the area before. I chose this property because of the reviews and boat access. I am so glad I did!! It has everything you need, even down to towels and cooking utensils. I especially liked coming home without a bunch of dirty laundry.
My family really enjoyed it! Check-in was seamless. The property manager reached out to us the day before, which was comforting. The house was very clean. It was evident that the owners care about the home and the satisfaction of renters. There are notes in a couple of areas. Those were very helpful, especially for the light switches ;-).
We only left “home” a couple times during our stay—once to go to the aquarium in Tarpon Springs and once to go to a water park. Most of our time was spent in the pool and fishing from the dock. My kids loved the pool! We took the boat out to the sandbar once. Don’t miss it! It was a bit of a drive out, but it was beautiful!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home! I did not want to leave!! Thank you for a great stay!

We have stayed here before great experience. This time was no different. Check in was simple, Michael came over went over the boat and things, had his number in case problems arose. Pool was clean, warm and ready. Unloaded our things and got to it. We took the boat out and it was a blast. Second day I believe we got out to the channel, the boat was sputtering, wouldn't go much over 2000 RPM. We made it to the island and we fished, caught 3-5 foot shark and 3 foot stingray. Multiple sharks and stingrays. On our way back we were DITW. (Dead in the water). Called Michael and Seatow. Michael was on his way with his dad's boat to come pick up the kids and grandbaby (22 months old) so they wouldn't have to stay out in the sun for possibly hours. Captain from Seatow called me and was 20 minutes out. They got to us quick... And Michael was able to turn back before he got to us. Next day or so the boat had a new fuel pump, and fuel filter, new fuel lines and ready to go. Mickey (prior property contact) came out and we talked, and spoke with the very knowledgeable mechanic 47 years experience. Some people in the past put ethenol gas in the boat instead of NON-Ethenol gas (it's cheaper) well it finally caught up with US. Ate the lines and rubber up in the pump etc. We used the boat the rest of the week. Enjoyed ourselves. I do NOT hold the owners responsible for this, they were only trusting people to do as instructed and take care of their stuff.. renters meet to pay attention and follow directions. Anyways. Great time, great place, just like home. Thank you again for letting us use your home a second time. The Dinkins Family.

My husband and I had the most relaxing week at this lovely house. The house was very clean, everything you might need was there in the kitchen. The pool was wonderful, and the manager was so kind to turn the heat right up for me as I feel the cold easily. We didn't use the boat much as the weather was not on our side when we were not doing other things out.

Our family stayed here for 2 weeks and had a fantastic time. Pictures don't do justice to the home. Very nice and comfortable. Pool is fantastic and the boat was added fun! Thank you for the use of your wonderful home. We will definitely be returning.

We absolutely loved our time here! The house was everything that it promised! Beautiful home, although it does need some updating. There was nothing one could need here - the kitchen has everything one could need to put any meal on the table. All the spices, cooking utensils, and pots and pans are all available and easy to find. Plus you have all the cleaning supplies needed to keep the kitchen and home looking good - this includes plenty of paper products as well! Our arrival went smoothly thanks to both the owner Dave and Property Manager, Michael. Both were incredibly helpful and willing to help us and answer our questions to make sure we were completely comfortable. I have to admit the boat and the kayaks really made our trip - so fun to get out on the water whenever we wanted, seeing both manatees and dolphins! Too fun and definitely a piece of paradise - I highly recommend this lovely property!

My father two boys and I decided on a trip to stay away from busy beaches and crowds during this virus and decided that a house with its own pool and boat would be the best option. Well this house was perfect for this. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond on anything we needed and Mickey helped explain the rules on the boat which was nice because I wasn't really experienced with the open gulf. But all in all the boat is what made the whole trip. We was out in it every day! Fishing was great and the sandbar was also awesome to check out! I will definitely vaca here again if renting a house is still the best option.

We have used VRBO more times than I can count. This is the first time I have ever felt micro managed. There are notes all over the house telling you have to use every appliance, light switches, grill etc. The neighborhood is clean and quiet, but after arriving we found out it is a restricted neighborhood, meaning the owners aren't supposed to rent to anyone for less than a month. So we were told to be inconspicuous. No parking on the street, so when there wasn't space in the drive for one of our cars we parked in the grass. One of the neighbors called the owner in Canada who called me to tell me to move the car. Yes, there is a sign in the kitchen telling you not to park on the grass, but I had no idea that is where they were parked. The pool is small, that is fine. But they want the auto cleaner in it at all times. So you lose half the pool to it and it's hose. And it is constantly moving, so you are constantly moving it away from you. We ended up taking it out so the kids had room. Came back to the house one day after being out on a boat and the cleaner was back in the pool. The A/C is not adequate. It was set on 72 (I set it to 69 and the next time I check it has been bumped to 72), the lowest I ever saw the thermostat at was 73 and that was at 8:00 a.m, during the day the house stayed around 78. The property manager told me that was normal when I brought it to his attention. I received multiple phone calls from the property manager "checking in", the pool guy was there, then the A/C needed serviced (did not help temps). Not once in the week we stayed could I ever get warm or hot water at the kitchen sink. The loveseat in the family is comfy, but the couch is awful to sit on. There were six of us staying here and we could not all sit and watch TV comfortably. I think the most aggravating was the call from the property manager our last evening of our stay wanting to make sure we were going to clean up after ourselves and to know when we were going to be out of the house so the cleaning people could come in. With multiple reminders that there are fees if we don't clean up after ourselves.
That said, the house is clean and has recently had some updates. The boat was the best part of this rental, my husband loved having it.
My first VRBO experience that wasn't fantastic.

Check in was easy and simple. We even arrived a couple hours early and since the house was clean we were allowed to gain access. The house was very clean and looked just as listed. I have rented houses before and this one added a few more perks. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed plus Reynolds wrap, coffee, coffee filters, baggies and spices just to name a few. One spice we particularly liked that we had to buy some when we returned home. (called Slap Your Mama) The private pool was excellent perfect temp and crystal clear. We grilled one day on a brand new grill while using the pool. There was cloths soap, fabric softener, dishwashing soap, Kleenex, beach chairs and beach towels provided. Not having to drag the beach towels was a plus for it uses so much space in our luggage. The only con I had was the boat. When Mickey arrived and went over the instructions for the use of the boat there were a couple things that made us uneasy. The key ignition was installed upside down and the gear button was broken you also had to crawl under to flip the power button to start and when you were done using the boat. The gear would not click into neutral and would have to giggle it to go forward or reverse. We took it out just to the round about past the bushes where you would go to get access to the open water and came back. Getting it back to the dock was a bit nerve wrecking due to this issue and we are boat owners. The one reason I had picked this house was for the boat that we couldn't use with reliability and ease. We were afraid to take it very far so that is why I gave this a 3 star total rating.

The house was amazing inside & out. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. The pontoon was a great bonus with the property. Hanging out by the pool was awesome. Enjoyed every moment we spent there. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house for spring break. The owners had everything one could need for a great, relaxing vacation. The highlight was the pontoon boat, and going out to the sandbar. On our way in a family of dolphins followed us and came right up to the boat! The house is very clean, and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. My 3 kids (ages 6-13) enjoyed swimming in the heated pool, and fishing off the dock. I highly recommend this vacation house and would love to stay here again!
4.7
The pool and boat are fantastic additions to the stay. Enjoyed the time just relaxing away from the hustle of the major tourist areas. It is wonderful place to stay. Updated kitchen is a plus.
Recommended for families wanting a quiet area but close enough to enjoy the tourist areas.

We arrived looking forward to a fun week with this house rental. Nice house, pool, boat, kayaks, only partially so! Our first impression was nice kitchen (updated), nice master bedroom, master bath ok (shower and tile was updated), guest room ok (mattress was hard, had one two draw dresser for clothes with tables in the closet for extra storage), living room ok, lanai ok (bugs in corners and lower Crevices under the screens, I would think cleaners would vacuum. Upon further review the rugs seemed old and dirty, the guest bath had an artificial flower that was caked with dust, the shower head was strained. The living room and lanai had artificial trees that were dust covered (Felt the cleaning service was very basic). The pool was nice but small. We had 4 adults, 2 on floats and 2 sort of swimming, which didn’t allow for much more room.
Mickey, the maintenance guy went over the boat/rules Sunday morning. Upon him leaving he mentioned Dave, the owner and friends used the boat Friday before we arrived but an alarm sounded so Dave turned around. We were advised if the boat alarm sounds again to let Mickey know. Well we used the boat Monday morning and the alarm goes off. A boat mechanic can’t get there until Tuesday due to family emergency over the weekend, etc. We were sympathetic and say ok no problem but didn’t understanding why a backup mechanic wasn’t available. My husband and brother in law are both in project management and service field and always have alternative options available. Boat was finally fixed Wednesday midday. Unfortunately for us Wednesday and Thursday we’re very windy days. We finally used the boat Friday which was very nice. Another item in the rental rules - in consideration to other guests to fill the boat before you depart the rental. My brother in-law decided to double check the gas before our first use. We were surprised it wasn’t topped off, He put in close to 5 gallons of gas (boat last used by owner and friends). Kayaks were available to use but we kayak enough at home. We booked this house based off the use of the boat which unfortunately was our mishap. To the owners defense we were reimbursed a $100 which according to him and the rental agreement he didn’t have to do. I’m Rating a 3, would be 2.5 if allowed. If it was my co-renters it would have been a 2. After rereading the reviews we were curious why there was a lack of reviews for a while. We took pictures for our records in case of non deposit refund.

We spent 2 weeks in March 2019 at the New Port Richey vacation home. The house was perfect for our stay. It will have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The use of the boat just adds to the fun.
The area has all the activities and restaurants that you could possibly need. You can’t go wrong with this home.

Renting this property proved to be a great experience. The newly renovated kitchen was fully equipped and very nice. The layout of the house was very useful-a space for everyone. We used the pool almost daily and found it very relaxing. The pontoon was a huge benefit. We enjoyed touring through the channels. Fishing from the dock and pontoon proved to be very successful. We had a wonderful vacation here.
Both Dave and Mickey were very friendly and helpful. Truly a positive experience.

All previous reviews are accurate, this place is great! The very best part is this is the boat! The area is perfect! There is a pretty long boat ride to get to the actual open waters, but after the first run it gets a lot easier! The third bedroom is actually just a sleeper sofa but does the trick. The dock in the mornings was awesome! We saw 2 & 3 dolphins swim up and down the canal every day we were there around low tide! We flew in from Dallas and thought we would just Uber everywhere, but after 3 days we had to rent a vehicle. There was plenty of pots and pans and all the needed kitchen appliances!! We will defiantly be visiting this one again!! Thanks Dave and Mickey!!
PS The shower on the Master bath was awesome!! Great upgrade!!👍👍👍👍👍

Renting this home was a great experience it pretty much gives you everything you could want from a vacation home. Having a boat was really great and the pool was perfect for relaxing and floating around in.

My family and I stayed here in October for vacation and it was FABULOUS! The place had everything we needed including dishes, toys/entertainment for my kids, a pool, a boat, a grill, what else could you need?? It's only a short trip by boat to the sand bar and several island beaches. We spent the week at Anclote Keys and Honeymoon Island and had the beach to ourselves throughout the week!! There was an abundance of shells and sand dollars that we collected over the week on the islands, as well as enjoying the beautiful views and the relaxation that only a beach can provide. The heated pool was perfect for October! It was wonderful to relax at night with the kids in it after grilling out fresh seafood from the local markets. Clearwater beach is only a short drive away or you can get there by boat. We also enjoyed being so close to Tampa where we had a wonderful visit to Busch Gardens. The house manager was excellent and answered any questions we had throughout our visit. We had such a memorable vacation! Thank you!

Thank you Dave and Vivian for the perfect escape! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; a truly wonderful experience.
Its hard to get the family together for a quick vacation due to work schedules, college schedules, etc.
We contemplated on a quick getaway to the beach to spend quality time with our adult children for the Memorial
weekend/week. The family wanted the beach, swimming, boating, fishing, swimming, etc., but unfortunately, I had much work to do via remote and needed internet access, privacy, quiet, serenity. This property HAD IT ALL!!! We are so greatful that we were able to quickly find this property for quick family getaway. We sent an email inquiry and heard back from Dave immediately. The owners, were exceptionally helpful in making arrangements, assured internet access, and provided extensive information about the area as well as recommendations about sandbar and anclote island for our family boating expeditions.
Upon arrival, it was a pleasure to met with the Property Manager, Mickey, who was kind, personable and so gracious to show us around, offer tips on day trips on the boat, and area dining & attractions, and he made sure I had Wi-Fi connection. He certainly knows the area inside and out, and knows your personal needs according to your vacation timeline.
We had 6 adults in our party and were accommodated very comfortably. The house is attractive, fully furnished, very inviting, comfortable, clean, well equipped with virtually every amenity that we needed - it made us feel right at home. The view of the canal is breathtaking, absolutely a beautiful setting, and the home is situated in a very quiet neighborhood. The owners have made every effort to insure you have what you need to enjoy yourself.
Unfortunately, the grill only had enough propane for us to grill hotdogs one afternoon, but that gave us opportunities to venture out and dine out. We enjoyed the pool everyday, and we are in love with the boat! Thank you so much for the perfect escape!
Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short due to ... you guessed it "work" - reality stinks :). But nonetheless we highly recommend this home for anyone who wants to relax and have a great time. We look forward to visiting some time in the not so distant future. Thanks again for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

We had a wonderful stay at your rental home the week of Thanksgiving. The house was just perfect...clean, large, and had a well stocked kitchen. The pool area was nice and overall the boat was great...we had some issues with the motor, but both Mickey (local contact) and Dave (owner) were both spectacular and Mickey tried so very hard to get the motor working for us the last few days we were there...he wasn't able to, but we appreciate his efforts and I believe Dave has since replaced the boat motor with a brand new one. We are looking forward to coming back for spring break 2014 and we are hoping for warmer weather then! I would highly recommend this rental home to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation with a boat and great fishing! Thanks for everything Dave and Mickey! See you here soon!

We loved everything about this house. It was very clean and had lots of towels and blankets and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The washer and dryer were great too...I didn't have to bring all the dirty clothes home. Mickey, the caretaker, was very helpful, whenever we called him he was always available to talk to. The best part of it all was the boat. We went to the awesome sandbar and just the ride out there was great. We saw dolphins, turtles, a small shark and even a small alligator and all those exotic birds. There were lots of fish and lots shells at that sandbar. We went to Tarpon Springs where you'll find lots of sponges and great Greek food. We went to Clearwater Beach one day too and stayed for the beautiful sunset. We did check out the private beach but it was during low tide and there was lots of seaweed at that time. Tropical storm Karen had just passed by the Gulf so I didn't know if that caused the seaweed. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home.

Trip down was for my aunt and uncle 30th wedding aniversary. Very confortable home in a quick great neighborhood. My aunt and uncle stayed in the large master bedroom with access to the patio/pool. One nice thing, I did not notice in the description - the home has a great roomate style floor plan. I think the dock/deck is also new. Everthing was in good shape and pool was very clean.
only thing missing - bring a blender.... Otherwise, house had everything!
:-)

We stayed here with our five kids and I can say that in addition to being very well-located with regard to attractions and amenities, there aren't many reasons you will want to leave.
On the nice days, we spent most of our time in the pool, and if it's not great weather, the house has an HD television with cable service. There's also a really great Internet connection if you prefer to watch your Netflix or whatever from a laptop or tablet from the patio. Speaking of the patio, we spent a lot of time playing games out there in the evening and it was very relaxing to listen to the birds and the gentle lapping of the canal behind us.
Now as far as the pool, it's one of the types that doesn't leave your skin and hair a mess after swimming and the temperature control kept things very comfortable. Like I said earlier, we spent a LOT of time in the pool and I consider it to be one of the best aspects of our time there.
Sleeping arrangements are very well thought-out, at least for our needs. The beds were all comfortable and the third bedroom is close to the kitchen and we used it for the younger ones to sleep in their portable cribs because we could hear them pretty much anywhere in the house that way.
The kitchen is well appointed for a rental. Nice sized refrigerator and cabinets, so we had plenty of room for groceries and stuff for meals throughout our stay. We even made some banana bread and cookies while we were there! All the supplies we needed for grilling were available, and the grill itself is large enough that you can usually feed a full house in one batch.
For those of you with kids, it took us all of about five minutes to "kid-proof" the house. The décor is tasteful, and the owners have avoided a lot of fragile trinkets you normally find in rental homes in favor of some really cool metal designs you will find throughout the home (at least that was the chosen décor when we stayed there). We simply relocated a couple of items to higher shelves and we could let the kids wander around without being concerned they were going to break something. Also, both sets of patio doors lock, keeping the little ones from venturing out to the pool area unsupervised.
Overall, we would stay here again in a heartbeat and plan on doing so in the future!
4.7
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The wi-fi and free long distance telephone was a plus. The boating excursions and picnics to the sandy island were a highlight. Since the weather was cool during the first week of our stay we really appreciated the heated pool.
All in all the owners of this house have done a good job of providing everything that is needed for an enjoyable stay. The photos and description given are accurate.
The only negative comment is that 6-8 people would not sleep comfortably for more than a night or two. The two beds in the first two rooms were fine but the sofa bed in third room was a bit uncomfortable.
4.7
We spent the month of January at this very nice home. The community is nice, the house is nice and the owner is responsive and easy to deal with. The heated pool, dock and private community beach all added to our very pleasant stay. All in all it could not have been better. Thanks Dave!
