About this cottage rental

Enda Cottage is a lovely renovated 1930's farm house. Located within easy walking distance, (1.3 Ks) to the center of the township of Healesville. The cottage will comfortably accommodate 8, with 2 queen size beds, 2 singles, and a lovely lounge suite that includes a sofa bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen with large dining table, a spacious lounge that is roomy and comfortable, with books to read and a piano and guitar to play. There is a cute little fire place that is for decoration only with candles provided for atmosphere. There is also a lovely back deck area with BBQ facilities. .
The master room with queen size bed has an adjoining ensuite. The second bedroom also features a queen size bed, it was once the original master bedroom. The third bedroom houses two lovely wrought iron single beds, The main bathroom features a double shower and claw foot bath. The cottage will easily accommodate a group of friends out to enjoy all the Valley has to offer, or a family taking a country break. Breakfast provisions for your first morning are supplied, including cereal, bread, spreads, milk, tea, coffee and sugar. Linen and towels are supplied, and when the weather is cold, all beds have electric blankets. The décor is homely and quirky with a warm and inviting feel.

Spend and entire day and visit the Healesville Sanctuary, go and see a concert at Rochford Winery. Indulge yourself at the Chocalaterie. Stroll down to Four Pillars Gin distillery, (600m away), and taste our locally made Gin. Take a hot air balloon ride over the Yarra Valley. Explore Tarrawarra Museum of Art. Visit the many wineries that surround Healesville, and stroll through the township and enjoy the many cafes and eateries available. When you are done exploring, come home to a comfortable house, pour a glass of local wine, and relax and enjoy the lovely claw foot bath.

Enda Cottage surpassed our expectations. Pulling into the driveway my family immediately gasped ‘I love it’. Every nook in every room was a trove of delights. It feels inviting and cosy, yet surprisingly spacious. It had everything on hand we could possibly have wanted as well as super comfy beds and awesome water pressure in both bathrooms. The heating was easy to use and extremely effective. Edna Cottage is a winner and we’ll be back!

I visited with my sister for a weekend away. It was very comfortable and clean. All you need to be self sufficient with lots of personal touches. Great communication from the owner. Lots of room for a family but teens may not like no wifi (parents may appreciate it though lol). Thanks for a wonderful, hassle free trip.

Charming property in a great location. The place was pristine and had everything you needed! Little touches such makeup remover wipes, facial soap and breakfast basket was a lovely surprise. The kids really enjoyed exploring the property and surrounding area. Thanks Vikki!

Communication, accuracy of description, space and extra touches made for a perfect stay. Breakfast bits and pieces were a lovely surprise. Big showers and seperate deep bath. Wooden floorboards and all the amenities you need. Only a two min drive from the main street. Thank you Vicki 😊

Lovely, comfortable cottage with lots of character. A very generous host providing fresh fruit, breakfast extras and treats. Being able to check in a bit earlier and not having a rushed check out time made it all the more relaxing.

Warm, comfortable and a great base to explore Healesville and Lake Mountain. Only extra I’d suggest investing (unless one is there and was hidden!) in would be a clothes horse to hang damp clothes to dry. Many thanks Vicki.

Enda Cottage was beyond our expectations! We booked our trip to attend a wedding and am so glad we discovered this beautiful property and the lovely township of Healesville. The Cottage itself felt like a home away from home and it was obvious that Vikki had gone to great effort to make our stay comfortable. The thoughtful extras were very much appreciated! The highlights were the history of this beautiful cottage, the amazing showers, the piano and the comfy sitting room and the peaceful location. The proximity to town was perfect. All the little touches were lovely and really appreciated by us. We were very unlucky that a storm hit on our first night. The Host had good instructions on what to do if there is a power outage, we easily found the torch, lighter and lots of candles. Due to the heat of the night and no power we tried to open doors and bedroom windows to get some cool breeze but there were no screens on these, the mosquitoes were really bad so we couldn't open them. Unfortunately the mattresses in second bedroom and on single beds were too uncomfortable for us. Overall it is a lovely place, great carport, great outdoor area and a lovely house. Healesville is a lovely place to explore.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights staying at Enda Cottage while exploring Healesville and surrounds. There was ample parking for our two cars. It was a nice quiet neighbourhood but an easy drive to the shopping centre. The central heating in the Cottage was much appreciated with the unseasonably cold weather and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Enda Cottage welcomed us with open arms after a day of travel and settled us into a relaxing stay with its warm and cosy atmosphere. Charming furnishings and touches met our eyes at every turn, plus all amenities were in excellent order and thoughtfully arranged for the convenience of guests. Out of doors the lush greenery and well-established trees provided a sense of privacy and tranquility. In short, Enda Cottage felt like the perfect home away from home. P.S. Loved the piano!

We booked a little getaway with friends to visit the local wineries and distilleries and Enda Cottage was the perfect retreat. Vikki was a wonderful host. The cottage was lovely and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and it was an easy walk to the main town. Would definitely stay again.
