A beautiful, comfortable house with fabulous views and proximity to the beach made for a wonderful stay in KI, would lov

Loved the wonderful views, fabulous open plan living area and dream kitchen. Came away with a few ideas to try at home. Also very comfortable beds and pillows. Everything was so well stocked and the well equipped laundry was perfect to facilitate drying our clothes during rainy weather.

The only downside we could think of was the showers. Not sure if both the same but one at end of corridor we thought could do with an upgrade of shower head, or a double which includes a flexible head . Our previous accom this trip was Magnolia at Emu Bay with gorgeous bathrooms. Perhaps fewer, shorter emails prior to our stay would have been better also, just stating relevant information.

Very enjoyable trip enhanced by well appointed, superior accomodation.

Location is perfect. Great view,quiet road and short stroll to facilities.

It would be difficult and pedantic to find anything other than trivial issues.

We loved visiting Kangaroo Island and our stay in this house was everything we hoped for.

The location was perfect. The view was amazing. The house has everything we needed to feel like home.

We liked everything!! The only thing I can possibly suggest is to add the movie Sing 2 to your collection.

Truly a ‘home from home’!

Millpond is wonderful, a real ‘home from home’. Our second visit and, once again, we didn’t want to leave. Friends we brought with us were amazed at the spectacular location and quality of this ‘home’.

Cosy dressing gowns/robes would be an added bonus.

Fantastic, comfortable getaway with a glorious view

The location and outlook of the property were superb. The kitchen and laundry were well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were comfortable, Netflix was available and there were various board games, DVDs and reading material to keep you occupied. The KI Sculpture Trail is at the end of the street as is Frenchman’s Stone. The Penneshaw Penguin Centre is less than a 5 minute walk away. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. We were sorry to leave.

I loved everything about this property. It was one of the best holiday homes I have ever stayed at.

Relaxing and fun and very enjoyable time, fantastic.

It was a great home base for any sight seeing. Close to shops. Wonderful walking trails and beach to walk on. Lots of things to see and do. Great facilities had everything we needed. It was our second stay and we’ve booked again already.

I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like with the property. The only thing was we were all disappointed that our stay had finished. We look forward to going back to the relaxing atmosphere there.

Great Family Winter Getaway

A perfect house for a family get away. The kitchen is well equipped for short and long stays. Millpond is walking distance to some sites like the Penneshaw Sculpture Trail and the Contemplation Seat just to name a few. Millpond is approximately 2hr drive to Flinders Chase National park, about 1hr to Little Sahara Adventrure Centre and about 30mins to Cape Willoughby Lighthouse. Its a great location to be based on Kangroo Island.

While in Penneshaw there were not alot of places to eat while there, mainly only the local Penneshaw Hotel.

Amazing views, clean, comfortable and convenient!

Wonderful and uninterrupted views of the ocean! Close to town for coffee, IGA, restaurants, and ferry terminal. Very clean with everything you could ever need in the kitchen. The beds were so comfortable and the whole house was beautiful. Excellent communication with the owner too.

Exceptional

Such a beautiful home - with stunning views of the ocean. We were lucky enough to see dolphins from out the bedroom window every morning. The house was walking distance to ferry, supermarket, pub and cafes. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back. The hosts were fantastic also.

Great stay!

The location was absolutely fantastic! with the beach just meters away it was a great place to stay and take a dip in the bay everyday. The kitchen was very well stocked up and loads of games for the kids

The only one issue was the shower head had a problem in the main bathroom which was problematic, apart from that it was a great place

Exceptional

Awesome view of Hog bay. Neat and clean. Kitchen is well-equipped - lots of items: salt, sugar, raisin, oats, what not!. Bathrooms have bath gel and handwash.

Probably missed an ensuite :) but that's not something necessary.

Just simply exceptional! You must stay here! We could not have wanted more.

This accommodation is exceptional! We could not have wanted more. Such a beautiful location and the outlook is stunning. We even had a seal pop his head up out of the water and say hello while walking along the beach. If I could give 11 out of 10 I would! We will certainly stay here again. Great central location and easy to do day trips all over the island. Great communication from the owner as well.

There was not a thing to dislike about this property.

The best week in the best home!

Everything! In particular the location with amazing views, the fire, well stocked kitchen and laundry with every utensil and appliance one needs. Millpond is certainly a ‘home away from home’.

Nothing. Our constructive feedback would be that some families may like a more up-to-date interactive tv. A bath in the second bathroom may have been nice. For us, the only thing missing was our little dog even though we understand the ‘no pets’ policy.

Having such wonderful accommodation really added to an excellent holiday on Kangaroo Island.

Perfect location. A short walk or very quick car ride from the ferry. The view across the bay was stunning. The house was very well equipped to ensure guests had every item needed for a perfect holiday.

Beautiful location, comfy beds, plenty of room and wonderful view. Not far to drive to restaurants or ferry terminal

Pillow could have been better, also towels. Main issue was locking the front door every time you went out, very difficult and sometimes impossible. The screen door was ok to lock.

A fabulous property and I would recommend it to anyone.

The property was so wel equipped, everything you could think of was there, you could live in the property full time and want for nothing. You could walk to Penneshaw in 14 minutes.
