Lovely old house. Loved the history of the place as told by Maria and Juan Antonio.
The breakfast was just what we needed.
All staff very accommodating.

Beautiful old house. Lovely room.
Reception staff were friendly but only saw them once. We wanted to get laundry done but despite going to the desk 3 times and ringing the doorbell no one was around so we gave up. Shared bathroom lock doesn’t work properly.

Besides being absolutely gorgeous. the staff were amazing. we are a late lunch there because they did not do Sunday dinner. but our lunch was beyond delightful and delicious. we sat there for 3 hours. on purpose. we didn’t want to leave. We had a private tour of the wine cellar and it was really a special place. Built in the 1500’s. I’ve been looking forward to my visit for a while. great little town.
I didn’t like that I could live there forever.

Our private room was comfortable and clean, and it had a fan! The shower and large towel were appreciated.

Really nice place and liked it’s rustic charm. Excellent location right on the Camino. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
No A/C in room/ very hot day 90+/ fan in room was on a 2 hour timer which made for a long night.

The staff were friendly and the room was spotless.
The noise of the front door as guests left early in the morning.

Lovely hotel to rest our sore bodies after another day of walking the Camino. Lovely town with amazing church and mass.
We liked it all! But some coffee pods or sachets in the kitchenette would have been nice.

Property was rustic but clean and comfortable. This was an excellent choice for stay and dinner.

this property is a brilliant little treasure, Alphonse could not have been more accomodating or friendly and there is the small matter of amazing history in the cellar dining room!

inspiring, luxurious, great value and Wilmar the proprietor was incredible! one of our best nights on Camino.

Historic beautiful building with such a good feeling. Very comfortable. Maria was wonderfully helpful.
Adding a laundry option would be a huge plus.

Beautiful interior, super clean. Sheets were so soft, hot water, quiet. Just a lovely stay. Had heat and air conditioning and windows. Dinner was fantastic. Highly recommend visiting. Everyone was extremely friendly and they could communicate in several languages.
It was perfect. There was nothing to complain about.

The hotel was beautifully kept and close to town
We had to wait outside as nobody gave us the code to enter. There was no breakfast or dinner available and the town was empty after Easter with only one restaurant open. Not the host's fault but a little annoying

The property is unique, quiet and comfortable. Maria at the front desk is exceptional. Brought me ice for a hurting knee and even walked with me through town to show me the supermarket. When I tried to take a shower there was no hot water so she returned to the property to fix it. Amazing!

Beautiful old building full of character. A lovely break from the hostels on Camino.

The historic preservation was remarkable, the checkin very helpful, and the thick walls made for an excellent sleep. Thank you for a memorable night.

Everything. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, wonderful deck, super comfortable bed. Delightful! Alas, wracked and weary, I slept 14 hours, so was regretfully unable to sup at what appears to be a fine meal prepared by the proprietor.

beautiful renovated building, very cozy and comfortable room, close to downtown restaurants. lovely restaurant
unfortunately the restaurant was not open for dinner on the evening I stayed (Sunday and the off season).

Beautiful building, very clean.
We arrived at our expected time. But unfortunately the email with the door code, didn’t arrive until much later. So we had to walk round trying to find someone to let us in. The reception was unmanned. Eventually someone turned up. Then told us there would ne no breakfast available on Sunday. We booked a table in the restaurant and on our booking form it told us it was a set meal for €20 . We were told this was not available at weekends. So the whole price for room and evening meal, cost us €175 a bit excessive for one night, as a stopover on the way to the Santander ferry.

Beautiful guesthouse in a truly stunningly beautiful town and region.

Beautiful historic building. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Excellent location on Camino trail. Fabulous restaurant - loved the dessert plate. Lovely town.
No hot water. Unfortunately problem with solar booster on the night we stayed. Staff tried their best to fix but hot water didn't happen.

Great place to stay with tonnes of history and an excellent location. The restaurant was also excellent for dinner, less good for breakfast.
Breakfast was slow and disorganised.

This was my second stay and I just love it. The charm of the building is second to the charm of the owners.
Lets talk about the towels. Best towels on the Camino, possibly Spain. Huge, thick and floofy. Wow. Just wow...
I had to leave after 1 night.
